Everything went well appart from the afids in the end. She looks very pretty and smells awesome! Yield could be a litle higher... Still shooting for less than 1€/g. I think I will stop topping my plants. 01.12 - Stretch has stopped, so I decided to change my nutrient plan and also lollipopped all of the girls during the week when I watered them. They develop really well and I look forward to see the buds growing.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Week 2 Going with the wind Watered them with only 250ml each when soil was dry (every 3 days, +/-)💧 Developing nicely. B showing more growth than S. Fans are towards the plants to give them that "natural" low windy stress. TEMPERATURE: 22-24°C RH: 50-70% WATER PH: 6.2-6.5

11/4 Monday. I took 4 buds off of Strawberry Gorilla to dry. I ground a little up, smoking it now. Its nice. Smells like strong diesel right off the plant. 4.4 Maxi-Bloom 1ml Purpinator this week. 11/5 looks good 2pm as long as they are taking up water I'll keep them growing 11/6 9am took a branch from SG 1.39oz so probably an oz or so dry for the whole plant, maybe more. She's great!! 11/7 1am took a branch from Pink Kush CBD, smells great. Gave plain water today all of them. 12pm small sample from DDA still smells like chocolate!! 11/8 4am Did a flush with 2ml Purpinator and 1ml Ripen. After they dry its just water from now on. 12:30pm Took a branch from DDA, She smells like Chocolate!!! 1.2oz x2 plus the other 2 smaller branches at about an ounce. Probably 4oz wet 1 oz dry 11/10 Sunday. I'll have to harvest soon or they will start self seeding. They are all doing great. SG is a great smoke very strong. Opening the buds there are lots of reds. I did not use any Rapid Start or Maxi Grow powder during veg, she would be twice as big if I did that. She is perfect for training and HST

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Ladies and gentlemen today is day 42 of veg and we are moving right along, as you can see, we are at 8 tops and everything seems to be going swimmingly. As you guys can see from one of the pictures is a little area. I don't know what happened to it at first.I thought it was rotting.It seems to be getting better if anyone has any clue as to what the why or how that would be greatly appreciated! Other than that, this girl is doing great and she is thriving. Regardless of that little mark, so I think everything will be just fine.. I'd like to thank my friends over at Kannabia seeds for making this grow possible and for being awesome! I hope everyone is doing well and so are there ladies. God bless and happy growing ✌️

*Pre-flowers have micro trichomes upon formation, LOL. Based on my early observation, I predict that these will be frosty frosty on the trichomes. Added 20lbs of black lava rock as mulch, raising soil temp around 1 and a half degrees to 72.8F. Some nice little bud formations are creeping up already. Nice little foliar spray of some aminos to the underside of the leaf. Hard to guage or know how much the aminos help, but after reading how energy intensive it is for the plant to make them from scratch its something I feel I need to do as a habit. An EC (Electrical Conductivity) meter, one that's made for the soil, it's so useful, as it indirectly indicates soil moisture as well as salt mineral nutrient levels. Just pop your metre stick in the soil and if ec is low, then it's time to water. Once there is water to assist in the conduction of electricity, the EC" will kick back up. 0.3-1.8, if it stays low, then you know it's time to add more mineral salt ferts! While Electrical Conductivity primarily indicates the overall salt content in soil, pH provides information about the relative proportion of cations (positively charged ions) in the soil's salt capacity. High EC signifies a higher salt concentration, while pH reflects the balance of cations like calcium, magnesium, potassium, ammoniacal nitrogen, sodium, and hydrogen. Smaller leaves have less surface area for stomata to occupy, so the stomata are packed more densely to maintain adequate gas exchange. Smaller leaves might have higher stomatal density to compensate for their smaller size, potentially maximizing carbon uptake and minimizing water loss. Environmental conditions like light intensity and water availability can influence stomatal density, and these factors can affect leaf size as well. Leaf development involves cell division and expansion, and stomatal differentiation is sensitive to these processes. In essence, the smaller leaf size can lead to a higher stomatal density due to the constraints of available space and the need to optimize gas exchange for photosynthesis and transpiration. In the long term, UV-B radiation can lead to more complex changes in stomatal morphology, including effects on both stomatal density and size, potentially impacting carbon sequestration and water use. In essence, UV-B can be a double-edged sword for stomata: It can induce stomatal closure and potentially reduce stomatal size, but it may also trigger an increase in stomatal density as a compensatory mechanism. It is generally more efficient for gas exchange to have smaller leaves with a higher stomatal density, rather than large leaves with lower stomatal density. This is because smaller stomata can facilitate faster gas exchange due to shorter diffusion pathways, even though they may have the same total pore area as fewer, larger stomata Sugars, classified as carbohydrates, are composed of the elements carbon (C), hydrogen (H), and oxygen (O). The aerobic zone in soil is crucial. Hello and welcome to week 8. Enigma is on day 53 now and has partially recovered from the burn. Hopefully she will steady up as she goes. I thinn 3 or 4 weeks is what we can expect. Does she have to be harvested before the competition ends? Day 55: Not much change. Day 56: End of week. Roll on week 9!

Sooo another update : Week 4 This week starting with Mulch, using hay, first time for me. Plants Are looking very good and are growing Nice. Snapped a Branch on the Right one .. Sad. Very sad. Switch will be done at may 1st so in realtime we Are on day 45 of flower! Lets say they are still alive ✌️ See you soon Happy growing

Very happy overall, had some difficulties hitting the sweet spot through the cycle but managed to pull it through brilliantly at the end. This is definitely a very deserty and cookie like strain. Oven baked freshness!
