Week 1 of flower lights have been switched to a 12/12 schedule

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! I will grow 4 autoflowering from Fast Buds in front of a South-East oriented window. One year ago, I received the seeds and conserved them into my fridge door. Now, the "FBT2304" has become the "Pound Cake Auto". I started with 8 seeds (2 for each strain). They all germinated! For each strain, I took the seed with the bigger root and put it in its final 1,5l pot. I didn't find my usual soil at the store so I took a variant of it, let's see how it goes. It's also the first time I'm adding some Mycorrhizal Inoculant (fungi) from Dynomyco. I mixed 15g of Dynomyco with the soil for each plant. The "SUN" column in the weekly report is filled based on my daily electricity production. My solar panels are oriented at 90° compared to the window but it's just to give a rough idea of the amount of light received by the plant. 0 : very cloudy day + : cloudy day ++ : sunny day +++ : very sunny day Have a nice journey through my grow diary!

Flipped to flower this week. Experimenting with the short veg from seed. Fingers crossed they bounce.

This plant was amazing from start to finish. I will update a final comment soon as well as final weigh and a review of the smoke once sent out to a group of testers.

I wasn’t expecting these to stretch as much as they did, but they seem to come to a halt and are now focusing on bud sites. The Diamond OG has larger tops with smaller popcorn sized coming up the stem and started to frost later than the Cherry Gum. The Cherry Gum has smaller tops with more buds up the whole stalk and started frosting up right after the switch to flower.

Praying the warm weather holds out until October. I was told this strain take about 60 days in flower before harvest

23.02. Tag 62 So! Alle Probleme der letzten 2 Wochen sind erkannt und behoben. Ich hoffe die Ladies erholen sich in den nächsten Wochen wieder. 1.Problem: Die beiden vorderen habe ich leider übergossen. Lösung: Erde ersetzt, Problem gelöst. 2.Problem: Mein PH Messgerät ist defekt und ich habe die letzten 2 Wochen mit einem PH von 4.9 gegossen. Lösung: Neues PH Messgerät, aktuell bekommen sie seit zwei Tagen PH 6.8 damit der PH im Boden relativ schnell wieder steigt. 3. Problem: Gestern erst aufgefallen! Zeitschaltuhr defekt. Licht geht normalerweise von 12:00-16:00 Uhr aus. Eine Zeit in der ich selten vorm Zelt stehe. Licht läuft 24 Stunden durch. Seit wann? Keine Ahnung … Lösung: Neue Zeitschaltuhr installiert. ******************************************* Was sagt uns das? This grow I am going to do it differently. I am going to do day tracking instead of date tracking. I am using using pre-grown ( two grows ago) Coco mix with nature suppers soil to experiment with reusing grow medium. The pots are 5 gallon air pots. I have never used these before so we will see. The 1st take on them that they are very messy compared to fabric pots. Once established, I will be using half strength Advanced Nutrients for Coco since these are autos. Day 1 - 3 Seeds soaked overnight and were put directly into the 5 gallon pots. I pre-soaked the Coco with 5ml/gallon Clonex and covered the seeds with a mason jar. Day 2 - Temp stayed around 78 all day with me going in and out of the tent looking for a sprout. Nothing yet. 😀 Kept the Coco moist under the jar. Day 3 - Nothing popping Day 4 - Two have popped. Day 5 - One did not pop so I put another seed in Day 6 - The little ones are growing up. It brings a tear to my eye. 😥 Day 7 - The replaced seed looks to be comming up.

Last week of veg for this round, next Monday they will start 12/12 in the flower room and get stripped. Watering daily and they are growing fast and looking great, can't wait to see how flower goes for these ladies.

Smell is amazing like fizzy pineapples it overpowers the cookie dawg smell but the combo of the strains is also amazing the slight cookie and chem smell inside the tent. Will re pot these all and hope they all females due to the seeds being regular and not feminised. All looks good will keep eye on pistils to appear or not. Week 4 of flower looking lovely

She’s doing fine, buds are getting bigger and thicker! Since the weather is getting quite cold for the region - and we’ve already had a bit of snow - the cellar where my grow tent is set up is cooling down, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 18–19°C. Therefore, I’ve ordered some heat mats, which should arrive tomorrow. I’m aiming to stabilize the root temperature at around 22°C consistently, so the nights won’t be too cold anymore. I’ll go into more detail in next week’s update.

Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

There is very little to do with the plants, they are getting fatter by the day and frostier by the day. I found out I was giving them way too much nutrient so I started giving them 0.4 EC less (its still a work in progress). The lights are still on 85%. It is starting to smell more and more sour and there is also a fresh lemon smell coming from it now.
