Overall grows with ease and with the right conditions can produce beautifull flowers and colours as it begins its fade into harvest... Such a shame too see the bud rot as the colours began too come through as she was at the end of her cycle with all trichomes clear let's hope the few buds I've managed too save are okay too review the flower 👌💚

The Apple Betty babies are doing great 😊 I’m very pleased with the results so far, I just wished I would have known they would have such a large stretch, they D almost doubled in size in 14 days. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so, much more than my other strain that I have going as well. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. A quick snip here and there will really help the end result. At day 13 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, she flourished just as the girls in my big tent did as well. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing and large tops. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I will be doing a defoliation next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

It was working fine but this week I tried Plagron PH- and it works better, I need to add 2x less ph- solution to lower the ph of the same volume of water. Penso proprio che questa volta non si riprenderà ma riuscirà ad arrivare alla fine ugualmente! Evidentemente ci sono danni a livello radicale che non sono reversibili e le foglie giovani piegate in quel modo così ad artiglio, sono un segno di una precedente sovra irrigazione che ha causato tutto ciò, mi sembra strano che oltre ad essere così accartocciate siano rimaste comunque scure, senza segni di carenza di azoto o qualsiasi nutriente, ma guardando nelle due settimane indietro, il vaso ci metteva troppo tempo per asciugarsi e questo già faceva presagire un problema di assorbimento per troppa acqua, per fortuna è stata recuperata in tempo ma questo genere di problemi sarebbe sempre meglio evitarlo…mai lasciare in mano le piante alla mamma insomma 😵

Hello This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg. This little plant was in need of water when I look in this morning. So it looks a bit wilty. Got a big drink as soon as I realized it. She's looking good other than that. Got a weird leaf mutation. Hope I get some more... I like different or strange. Makes life interesting. This week has been quite eventful in terms of growth and maintenance. The plants have doubled in size, which is a great sign that they are responding well to the current conditions. The increase in light intensity and the regular feeding schedule seem to be paying off, as the plants are now much larger and healthier. I also conducted the first defoliation this week. I’m aiming to use techniques like defoliation only once a week, to give the plants enough time to recover and avoid unnecessary stress. The defoliation was carefully done to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower parts of the plants, ensuring that the energy is focused on the areas that need it most. The plants have shown resilience so far, and I’m optimistic about how they’ll bounce back after this session. I'm continuing to closely monitor all plants, especially after such significant growth, to ensure that they are responding well to the defoliation and training from last week. Looking forward to seeing how they progress over the next week as they recover and continue to grow!

Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying.
