As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest — equally stunning in structure and expression — turned out to be males. 🌿 💚 Let’s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. It’s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice — and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isn’t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as “bananas” in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers we’re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds — great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males? This week I have topped for a 2nd time with auto's it is a very tight window to train correctly. Now have 4 main nodes..mostly LST and light defoliation going forward

Nothing to update on, still just watering when needed. Starting to think about flushing process for a few of the plants soon, As they seem to be maybe a week or so ahead of the rest. Defoliating a little just where where have leaves blocking bud sights.

At about 9 weeks into flower the buds are still getting bigger and starting to foxtail at the top of the colas. Probably because its too close to the light even with the lst clips to try to manage size. The smell is amazing too, very pungent and lingers in your nose. It has a very unique aroma that's hard to describe but it definitely smells like a sweet dessert. Im adding this week late and just harvested it at about 10 weeks. I'll post the harvest when they're dried and trimmed. I also have a timelapse of the flower stage I'll share later.

This week we started to train our branches and setup our drip system. On Friday morning we found mushrooms in the soil of both plants. Started the ventilation system and kept it running all day and night from now on until harvest. I gave the Gnomes names as well this week. Enjoy the video.

Last WEEK of FLUSH

So first of before you wonder why tape is falling off the trunk etc, all that is coming off. Little experiment im doing of Super HST, essentially snapped off 3 main nodes and taped them back together. I want to see if this makes a difference in overall weight, quality and any visual differences. The plan is to weigh all 3 total weight individually and compare to other branches of the same node/section of the plant to compare. Becoming a heavy drinker at about just under 1/2 gal per day. Re-calibrated my PH pen as noticed a few spots coming up and the solution was sitting closer to 5.6. More upgrades would be needed if I would opt for constantly running a DWC system as its proven challenging with limited length air lines etc to pull her out of the short tent to work on her stature. Supercropped numerous times to keep the canopy at a manageable 12” from the light. At 95 Watts it’ll be interesting to see what can be pulled from 5 Gal DWC keeping it simple 2 nutrients, Nova and Calmag ✌️

After 3 failed germinations from growerschoiceseed.com I decided to order from ILGM.com. 2nd time around decided to germinate just 1 seed and it worked out well. Started soaking seed in ph adjusted water 6.5 for 48 hours. Seed showed small cracking so I placed the seed in damp paper towel. Let that sit for another 48 hours then placed in rock wool that I had soaking in ph 6 water for 24 hours. Placed Rockwell in DWC and turned both lights on at 12". She sprouted after 2 days. No nutrient yet.

Future 1 was a joy to grow , solid yield of 2 feet long dense buds . She didn’t need much defoliation and handled extremely high temps during a heat wave in her stride. The bits that I’ve smoked already are real mango fruity and ridiculously strong . Very happy with the finished product.

It powers various cellular activities like nutrient uptake, protein synthesis, and cell division. Without ATP, the plant's metabolic machinery would grind to a halt, regardless of the presence of nutrients, oxygen, or carbon. Nutrients, like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are essential for building plant tissues and various molecules. They are incorporated into proteins, nucleic acids, and other vital compounds. While crucial, their uptake and utilization rely on ATP-driven processes. Oxygen is vital for cellular respiration, a process that generates ATP. While plants can produce ATP through photosynthesis, oxygen is essential for maximizing ATP production in mitochondria through oxidative phosphorylation. Carbon is the backbone of all organic molecules, including carbohydrates synthesized during photosynthesis. It's the fundamental building block of plant structures and fuels. In dieser Woche habe ich Hesi Coco auf 4ml/l erhöht. Dazu kam das erste mal PK13/14 mit der Minimalmenge. Die Pflanzen vertragen es gut und treiben die Buds gut aus. Morgen werden sie zum ersten mal geflusht. Vorher lasse ich Sie komplett austrocknen und habe Sie 3 Tage nicht gefüttert. Die Temperatur und RLF waren in der ganzen Woche wie gewünscht. Die Leistung der HID steht aktuell auf 550 Watt. Licht gibt es also mehr als genug. Vor 4 Tagen habe ich Sie erneut hart entlaubt, dies stecken die Ladies gut weg und bilden sehr sehr schnell neue Blätter. Das Wachstum stellt sich langsam ein und die Endhöhe ist ungefähr erreicht. Ein bisschen höher hatten sie wachsen dürfen.... nach Umstellung auf Blüte 12/12 sind die Pflanzen also 300 % gewachsen, dies ist denke ich für eine sativa normal. Die Internodien sind stellenweise weit auseinander, ich hoffe Sie wachsen zu.

SUNDAY 4/28: I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking. Coming along nicely..👍 Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got them sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 MONDAY: I watered them with about 1/2 gallon of ph'd water including calimagic, terpinator, bud candy, boomerang, and their last dose of beastie bloomz. I'll feed them cha ching from now on- TUESDAY: I just had time for basic garden maintenance and cleaning today. WEDNESDAY: I finally had the time to take some photos today...they are looking very nice!😍 I have some sort of contagion in the big tent..leaves suddenly getting brown and crispy overnight on a few plants...Tanya is affected (infected?) a little bit, but Tina still looks okay. THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden... I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it?? FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH. SATURDAY: I fed them today and started them on Cha Ching.
