I made a mistake with my last two waterings: the pH was at 7 instead of 6 / 6.2… My Bluelab pH pen was reading 6.2, and the classic pH drop test was hard to read because of the added nutrients. The plants clearly went into lockout. I watered at 6.2 yesterday and they already showed signs of improvement; I’ll post a before/after photo. They’ll make it to the end 💪🌱 The two SM&Q2 already have nicely milky trichomes and a few amber ones — the harvest will be small but high quality ✨ The two Sour B are slower, but they smell insanely good — fruity candy vibes 🍬🍭

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Pour éviter que les fleurs ne deviennent "terreuses" et lourdes de poussière, les anciens utilisaient la technique de la Zriba de Roseaux. They were showing signs of Ca and Mg deficiencies and I increased my CalMg additive at 350ppm before I add my base nutrients. They seem to love it.

She is B-E-A-UTIFUL, she has a very nice smell to her. Small burns from nut. But plenty bud sites and biggest of the bunch.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Our Blue Dream by Zamnesia is the only classic strain we are growing at the moment and, since your friend breadandbuds loves the golden one, I couldn't help but try to get the best out of it. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find the plant left to grow straight without the aid of techniques, just a little bit of insignificant LST on the lower branches that I then often decide to cut if I see them too low and weak. When you do this type of cultivation you have to consider that the good flowers will only be those that see a sufficient amount of light. So you have to clean up at the bottom and leave only the last 15-20 cm of each brunch then you also adjust according to the internodal distance. I love to clean up a lot at this stage to make the plant concentrate on the production of good flowers in the apical parts. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). She is developing great :-) It only had to be poured once with 300 ml because it is under the hood with a very high humidity :-). The hood was sprayed every day. Spider Mite infestation. I put the story in the pictures. Long story short, the infestation focused on the lower (ticker) branches of AK2 and this explains the undergrowth compared to her sisters. The trichomes are half-cloudy / milky and she will be ready for harvest within a maximum of 2 weeks. I defoliated her by removing nearly all leaves and put her aside in the grow room. Open to any other suggestions. I also confess that I neglected the plants and did not check the source of the white point. I also used some of the soils I used in other outdoor plants which I believe the source of the infestation. Seed Formations AK2, again produces seeds in lower branches. I did not pollinate this one and there is no other source that she is pollinated. I didn't see any Bananas, too. I am thinking it might be because of the stress from the Spider Mites. Open to any suggestions on that too. Other Two Girls I spotted some mites on them too, but it was not alarming. I defoliated the infested few leaves and they will be okay. Jack Herer needs two and White47 might need another 3 weeks and that is it. I think they all will be okay until then. I will keep a close eye on them. Sorry for not good news this week.
