Harvested on 09/28 She started flowering early and finished fast, exactly what I was hoping for. She faced a lot of rain and just had one moldy spot She has a fruity/grapefruity note. I do not like this smell😅

This week went well. They are all stretching out nicely, except for alien berries which is looking a little runtish. Pink kush did not like the nitrogen and she made it clear to me with some claws up top. She also began to really prefiere so next feed will be with bloom mutes for her. The other ladies still seem to be in veg despite showing sex already. Defoliating any large leaves covering lower growth tips.

POSITIVES - Good harvest despite the heatwave I experienced whilst having to dry, Bud turned out super sticky and smelly, NEGATIVES - Didn’t leave her to grow for long enough due to life restrictions (Trimmed on Christmas Day) Could have definitely filled out more but it is all a learning experience, Next one is already going through the seedling stage,Ethos genetics so very interested to see how they go! Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Mild flushes last week. Day 54/ Day 1 of Flowering. Fed and light defoliation.

31/aug Week 4 of flowering is done. She stoped growing and now focus is on bud growth and density. I defloatied her to allow light to come in and also took off the lower tiny flowers. Food is normal minus 2l of water since I've seen minor burns on some leafs.

Smashed a couple tops off the rubbish genetics on the side lower return but more space got the sundae main in the middle bit smaller gaining height stretching well just needs time to take it nutrients in pot new soil see how it goes

Looking back at recent weeks I realized that I mustve had a weird filter put over my pictures because some spots of most of my pictures are really unnaturally green looking. It kinda angers me but I fixed it, quality of my pictures looks much better now. Picture 1 - Day 36 - Beginning of Week 6 Video 2 - Day 36 - Just a quick vid of how things are looking in the tent rn. The jamaicans are growing good too. Picture 3 - Day 36 - Dwarf 1 looking good, he has stopped stretching now at 70cm. Picture 4 & 5 - Day 36 - Buds on Dwarf 1. Picture 6 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 has weird looking new growth and isnt growing as fast as Dwarf 1, I think he will probably stretch a lot soon since he is in flower now. Picture 7 & 8 - Day 36 - Dwarf 2.1 shooting pistils. Picture 9 - Day 37 - Dwarf 1 going ok. Picture 10 - Day 37 - Trimmed of some of the dying lower leaves of dwarf 1, still contemplating a flush on both the dwarfs. Picture 11 - Day 37 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Picture 12 - Day 39 - Dwarf 1 going strong. Will flush at next watering. Picture 13 - Day 39 - Dwarf 2.1 also going good. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Week 18 Day 120 | 08/11/2021: I just can’t stop looking at them, they are so plump 🍑 I watered them today with just 1L of plain water because I want to harvest them in 4 days and don’t want them to wilt, but at the same time I know it’s better to let the soil be on the dryer side when harvesting. Day 124 | 12/11/2021: Today the beauties are being harvested!!! So exciting because they’ve been growing for a while and I can’t wait to finally vape them. From day 1, no, even from germination, the seeds were so strong and quite resistant to nutrient deficiencies. Very good and strong genes, I’m really happy that I tried them out! I will be hanging them with the stem to dry for 10-14 days, I keep the leaves so that the humidity can stay high in the tent, I used to struggle a lot with humidity when I would hang them without leaves, and then the buds tasted like hay for the next month, so I try to avoid that now. Can’t wait to see that the total weight is! They are quite big but I think the buds are not extremely dense so it could be deceiving 👀
