Day-43. Girls looking good. Still in the transition. One of the StarD girls has really had a growth spurt. Using next to no nutrients. 02/05/18-Day 48- Very pleased with fast buds, my first AUTO grow and they are taking off a treat, much easier to grow than photoperiods. But then again I treat them similar in terms of just defoliating as normal and LST'ing. Probably a little bit more sensitive to nutrients.

One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!

Everything is fine i still water-and feed them 5 times a week 2 times light compost tea with bath guano and molasses. I startd to add iguana juice bloom in my compost tea! Lets see the reaction of my girls. I also add a little bit of rhino skin by advanced nutrients against heat wave

Noticed some yellowing on sour kush a on Monday I do check ph and ppm overall smells nice critical purple finally taking off sticky buds on b and c

📅 Week 13 | Days 92–98 📅 🌼🌸🌺 Flowering Phase 🌼🌸🌺 Day 98 🌞 – Grape Guava 🔸 Grape Guava is in top form. The buds are significantly larger and denser than they were a week ago and extremely resinous – trichome development is excellent. The trichomes appear predominantly milky, with a small proportion of clear heads. The ripening time seems to be right on schedule. 🔸 The aroma has developed into a fruity, almost tropical-sour direction – intense, with a sweet note that is very characteristic. The genetic line seems to be coming through well here. 🔸 The humidity was still a little too high this week (63%), but is now stable in the target range of 50–60% thanks to the use of the dehumidifier and the clip fans turned up to full power. The slight temperature increase of 2–3 °C is easily manageable. 🔸 Water requirements have also decreased significantly, which is consistent with the advanced flowering phase. 💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 6 Blue Waffle F1 – Pheno A (Folder 13A) Welcome back everyone to another week inside Project Blue Tent! If this is your first visit, welcome aboard. This project is all about exploring the incredible Blue Waffle F1 genetics from Zamnesia while putting the complete Zamnesia ecosystem through its paces. Rather than documenting four plants as one diary, each phenotype receives its own weekly report, allowing us to appreciate how identical F1 genetics can still express their own individual personalities despite growing under exactly the same conditions. Every week we observe how each plant responds to training, nutrition and the environment, slowly building a complete picture of who they are becoming. As I always like to say... We're not just growing plants. We're getting to know them. ──────────────────────── 🌱 Week Six – Filling Every Corner This week has been all about patience, consistency and allowing the canopy to slowly take over the tent. Plant A now stands at approximately 60 cm tall and has spent the entire week doing exactly what I hoped she would do after installing the SCROG net. Rather than stretching vertically, she's investing her energy into filling her own corner of the screen with healthy new shoots. Every day I spend a few minutes gently guiding the tallest branches back underneath the net, encouraging them to grow horizontally instead of racing upward. For anyone unfamiliar with the technique, SCROG (Screen of Green) is designed to create one large, even canopy instead of allowing a few dominant branches to tower above the rest. By weaving each branch beneath the screen, every future flowering site receives similar light intensity, producing a much more uniform canopy once flowering begins. It's not something you do once. It's something you do a little every single day. Little by little the branches spread, new shoots appear, and before long the entire screen begins filling itself. Plant A has embraced the process beautifully. She isn't fighting the training. She's working with it. ──────────────────────── 🌿 Plant Development Opening the tent each morning has become incredibly rewarding. The lighter green colour we observed a couple of weeks ago has completely disappeared, replaced by rich, healthy foliage from top to bottom. The adjustment we made to the feeding schedule has clearly been exactly what these ladies were asking for. Plant A now looks vigorous, balanced and full of energy. Her leaves are broad, healthy and beautifully coloured, while the new growth remains vibrant without showing any signs of nutrient stress despite running an EC that some growers might initially consider relatively high. One thing I've learned over many years is that nutrient strength isn't about following someone else's numbers. It's about listening to what your own plants are telling you. Right now these girls are telling me they're happy. So nothing changes. ──────────────────────── 🌡️ Environment Despite the middle of summer bringing consistently warm weather outside, the environment inside the Blue Tent continues to remain remarkably stable. This week's average conditions were: • Day Temperature: 30°C • Night Temperature: 27°C • Relative Humidity: 58% • pH: 5.8 • EC: 1.92 mS/cm • CO₂: approximately 450 ppm • Light Schedule: 18/6 • PPFD: approximately 350 The small difference between day and night temperatures is something I'll be paying attention to once flowering begins, as warmer nights can encourage additional stretch during the early weeks of bloom. For now though, while we're still focused entirely on vegetative growth and filling the SCROG, these conditions continue producing exactly the results I'm looking for. One challenge at a time. ──────────────────────── 🥥 Feeding Program The feeding schedule remains unchanged because the plants have shown absolutely no reason for me to adjust it. This week's nutrient solution consisted of: • Hydro A – 1.9 ml/L • Hydro B – 1.9 ml/L • Hydro Roots – 1 ml/L With only minor pH adjustments where required. Although an EC of 1.92 may appear relatively high to some growers, the plants couldn't be giving me clearer feedback. Rich green foliage. Strong stems. Rapid vegetative growth. Healthy root development. Plants don't read feeding charts. They simply tell us whether they're happy. And these girls certainly are. ──────────────────────── 🕸️ The SCROG Continues This week the screen has really started showing its purpose. Every day I continue tucking the tallest branches back beneath the net, encouraging lateral growth while allowing slower branches to catch up. The objective isn't simply to keep the plants short. The objective is to create dozens of future flowering tops all sitting at roughly the same height. Once the screen is almost completely filled, we'll perform one final defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration before flipping the tent into flower. We're getting closer every single day. Nature is building the canopy. I'm simply guiding it. ──────────────────────── 🐛 An Unexpected Visitor This week also reminded me that no matter how careful we are, nature always finds ways to surprise us. While inspecting the plants I discovered a single caterpillar happily enjoying one of the leaves. Considering how strict I am with hygiene before entering the grow room, it genuinely caught me by surprise. I always shower, change into clean clothes and do everything possible to avoid bringing unwanted guests inside. Yet somehow... One tiny traveller still managed to find its way from the vegetable garden into the tent. Thankfully, regular inspections meant the problem was caught immediately. The caterpillar was removed by hand, the damaged leaves were cleaned up, and an IPM (Integrated Pest Management) inspection was carried out across the entire grow. IPM isn't simply reacting when problems appear. It's creating regular routines that help prevent small issues from ever becoming large ones. Observation is always the first line of defence. ──────────────────────── 🛡️ A Little Extra Protection To finish the inspection, I also used the Future of Grow UVC LED bar as an additional preventative measure. UVC light can help reduce unwanted spores and microorganisms that may have found their way into the grow room, making it another useful tool within an overall IPM strategy. It's important to mention that UVC must always be used responsibly. Direct exposure can damage both plants and skin, so proper precautions and eye protection are essential whenever working with this type of equipment. Used correctly, however, it becomes another valuable layer of prevention rather than waiting for problems to appear. As always... Prevention is easier than treatment. ──────────────────────── 💙 Plant A's Personality Every phenotype has its own way of growing. Plant A continues proving herself to be one of the most balanced girls inside the Blue Tent. She isn't trying to dominate the canopy. She isn't rushing toward flower. Instead she's quietly filling her own space with healthy branches, beautiful leaf colour and excellent structure. Every week she seems more comfortable with the training, and every week her corner of the tent becomes a little fuller. She's exactly the kind of plant that rewards patience. ──────────────────────── 👀 Looking Ahead If everything continues at this pace, I expect the SCROG screen to be almost completely filled over the coming week. Once that happens, the next major milestone will be a final clean-up and defoliation before flipping the tent into flower. Until then, the daily routine remains wonderfully simple. Tuck the branches. Observe the plants. Keep the environment stable. Let nature do the heavy lifting. Sometimes growing isn't about doing more. Week 8: Flower - Tale of Two Phenotypes & Lessons Learned 🌿💜 Currently bumping: Payroll Giovanni - 580 Benz 🎵💰 The Phenotype Reality Check: Same strain, same environment, same nutrients—COMPLETELY different expressions. This is one of the most fascinating (and sometimes frustrating) parts of growing cannabis. Let's break down what's happening in the tent. Lemon Cherry (Left) - The Speed Runner 🏃‍♀️ She's moving FAST! While her purple sister takes her time, this phenotype is racing toward the finish line. Current Status: Bulking nicely with solid density Getting frosty - trichome production is strong Trichomes almost mature - surprisingly ahead of schedule! Harvest window: ~2 weeks out The Lollipopping Regret: Real talk—I lollipopped her early in flower, and now I'm second-guessing that decision. Looking at her sister with almost double the bud sites, it's clear I may have been too aggressive with the lower growth removal. Lesson Learned: Lollipopping can improve airflow and focus energy on top colas BUT removing too much means losing potential yield With autoflowers especially, sometimes it's better to let them do their thing Every bud site is potential weight—be conservative with removal The Silver Lining: The buds she DOES have are dense and frosty. Quality over quantity? We'll see at harvest! Lemon Cherry (Right) - The Purple Princess Takes Her Time 💜👑 She's SUPER purple and absolutely stunning, but she's on her own schedule—no rush, just vibes. Current Status: Progressing at a great rate (just not as fast as her sister) Color expression is PEAK - the purple is deep and vibrant Way more bud sites than Left (thanks to minimal pruning) Harvest window: Likely 3-4 weeks out The Phenotype Difference: This is a textbook example of phenotype variation: Left pheno: Fast-finishing, green, fewer but denser colas Right pheno: Slower maturation, purple expression, more bud sites Same genetics, different expressions. It's like siblings—same parents, totally different personalities. Bag Appeal Winner: The purple coloration combined with frost and more bud sites means this girl is going to be STUNNING in the final product. Worth the wait! Apple Fritter - The Dark Green Giant 🍏 She's doing well overall, though showing some signs of nitrogen excess from the organic feeding program. Current Status: Lower leaves super dark green - classic sign of excess nitrogen Not affecting bud development (thankfully!) Progressing well through flower Harvest window: ~2 weeks out (same timeline as Lemon Cherry Left) The Nitrogen Situation: Dark green, almost waxy-looking lower leaves indicate she got a bit heavy on the N during feedings. Why it's (mostly) okay: It's NOT causing nutrient lockout or deficiencies Buds are still developing normally Just a cosmetic issue at this point Common with organic amendments that release nitrogen over time What I'd do differently: Lighter on the Gaia All Purpose early flower, heavier on the bloom-specific amendments. Live and learn! Key Observations & Growing Wisdom Phenotype variation is REAL and unpredictable: Even from the same seed pack, you can get wildly different plants. This is why breeders hunt through hundreds of seeds to find "the one." Both Lemon Cherry phenotypes are good—just different. Lollipopping: Less can be more (sometimes): Seeing the bud site difference between the two Lemon Cherries is a powerful reminder that aggressive pruning isn't always the answer, especially with autoflowers. They have a limited vegetative phase—every growth site matters. Nitrogen in flower: Easy to overdo with organics: Organic amendments like Gaia All Purpose can release nitrogen longer than expected. During flower, less is more. Focus on P and K, dial back the N. Different finish times = staggered harvests: Having plants ready 2-4 weeks apart actually works out well: Manageable trimming workload (not all at once) Continuous supply of fresh flower More time to dial in drying/curing process Speed ≠ Quality: Lemon Cherry Left finishing faster doesn't make her better. Lemon Cherry Right taking her time might result in bigger yield and better bag appeal. Patience pays. Its been smooth sailing the last week, little to do but admire progress. I kept feeding the full 3.0 EC from start of flower to today, no signs of too much nutrients nor of too less. I wonder why, either the Athena Pro line is excellently fine tuned to what the plants need and nothing is left to really build up, or I am missing something big...expected some sort of problems at least, but I wont complain also...maybe its the silence before the storm and I am compromising what I would call formidable chances on a high grade yield😅 Ill keep this updated if something big happens or I find too much free time laying around.

This week the growth has been explosive, I thought by the end of last week that it stopped growing but I was obviously wrong! I’ve done a little more light LST and also tucking the leaves behind one another in order to expose the bud sites to as much light as possible. I’ve stopped giving the plant the Madame grow Jamaican bloom 28-25 PK now and I’m just feeding it the canna A + B with CalMag every other day and this seems to be a good amount. Although I think I will increase it to every day soon as the plants are getting far less run off than they used to so I assume the plants are drinking a lot more and drying the coco out much quicker than before

Both phenotypes are thriving with thick stalks, lush foliage, and a dense network of branches promising a spectacular flower set. This week was all about control and balance. ✂️ Defoliation & Growth Management Although these plants have been allowed to grow naturally so far, their explosive stretch meant I had to step in. I performed a strategic defoliation, not because the plants were weak, but to: • Improve airflow through the canopy. • Ensure light reaches lower bud sites. • Slow vertical growth and help prevent them from outgrowing the tent. Even with a high ceiling, there’s still a risk of running out of headroom during the last stretch. Defoliating at this stage also redirects energy to bud formation instead of excessive leaf production. Note: During this process, a few branches were accidentally broken while moving them out for photos. I left this in the report and photos as a learning moment, large plants can be tricky to handle. This may be the last out-of-tent photoshoot before harvest. 🌱 Structure & Bud Development • Both phenotypes are highly branched, with bud sites forming all the way down the stems. • First signs of proper bud stacking are visible, with white pistils everywhere. • Plants look symmetrical, vibrant, and full of energy — a promising start to mid-flower. 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Base nutrients: • Aptus Regulator – 0.25 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L occasionally (soil already contains slow-release pellets) Bloom boosters (Plagron): • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L (multi-action bloom stimulator, PK booster, and terpene enhancer) • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L (amino acid-rich biostimulant, improves aroma & resilience) • Power Buds – 1 ml/L (early flowering booster to promote faster bud set) This combined recipe ensures the plants receive balanced macro and micronutrients while enhancing flower development, resin production, and terpene expression. pH & EC: • Feed solution pH: ~6.0–6.1 • Feed EC: ~1.04 mS/cm (soil EC still at ~2.96 mS/cm, so feed is moderated) 🌡️ Environment • Soil temperature: 24–24.7°C • Air temperature: 29°C • Humidity: 67% • VPD: 1.37 kPa Conditions are slightly warm, but the plants are coping well. ⸻ 📌 Summary Week 3 of flower has been a turning point, from a lush veg canopy to a budding powerhouse. This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!

Got some Nute burn my fault, caught it to late thought it was something else but do beleieve it was Nute burn. The high ppfd didn’t help either. They all bolted and are now flowering beautifully.
