Week 5 — Even Canopy, Big Potential
Probably one of the best development I've seen from an automatic so far, really stoked with how she's coming along.
The training has paid off, the canopy is sitting almost perfectly level across the whole plant.
She took every bend and tuck without skipping a beat.
Today I did a light trim, removed the lower branches that were never going to see real light and cleaned up a few leaves to improve airflow. Nothing heavy, just redirecting her energy to where it counts.
Also gave her a small first dose of Plagron Green Sensation. Keeping it on the low end though, I'm running an organic soil setup and I dont want to stress the microbiology in there. Just a gentle support going into the stretch, not a push.
The canopy is honestly begging for a SCROG net right now, it would fill one perfectly. I'm still on the fence though, mainly because I like being able to rotate the pot freely while watering. A net would kill that flexibility. Might regret it later, might not, we'll see.
Either way, the structure is there. Can't wait to watch her explode over the next few weeks. 🌿
