Im so excited to see how these girls are going to turn out!! Week 8 of our Lego Ninja Tropical Tangie Run has been an incredible rollercoaster of growth and excitement. Our Tangie is evolving into a true botanical ninja superstar! With her rapid growth, I made a bold decision to give her a full defoliation! What does this mean? Well, it's like a ninja makeover, where we removed all the leaves from her stems. Don't worry, it might sound drastic, but it's a ninja-approved technique used to maximize her potential. During this process, I carefully removed every leaf, allowing more light to reach the lower branches and bud sites. It's like clearing the path for her to channel all her energy into producing top-quality buds. Our Tangie is a champion, and she took this defoliation challenge like a true ninja warrior! After the defoliation, I was amazed to see how quickly she bounced back. She's incredibly resilient! You wouldn't even notice she underwent such a transformation; the grow room is already looking lush and vibrant again. Now, with all the unnecessary leaves gone, she can focus her energy on producing larger, denser, and more potent buds. It's like giving her a clear ninja path to success! But let's not forget the most important part—nutrition. With her full defoliation, it's essential to provide her with the perfect fuel for her ninja journey. I continue to rely on the powerful Aptus All-in-One Pellets, which act as her trusty ninja power capsules, delivering all the essential nutrients she needs with each watering. The canopy is filling up once again, and our Tangie is now ready to continue her incredible growth journey. The room looks as if no defoliation ever happened! 🗓️ 9° WEEK FLO // DAY 57-63 (from switch) // DAY 141-147 (from the sprout) ⚡ Light: 40 cm / 200 watt. Due the high temperature, I set my controller on 29° C max. So the Tent-X dimmed the light to keep my grow-box in the right range; ⌛ Schedule: 12/12; 🌡️ 29.5° C - 65% RH average; 📑 PH 5.7 - EC 1.8; 🌱 Trichomes mostly cloudy, ripening blend is working well; ⚙️ Fans, extractor and pump ON 24/0. No dehumidifier.

Transplanted everything a few days after the last diary into 5 gallon air pots. Started a cover crop and added some mulch after everything sprouted. Began training week 4. I’m intending on keeping 4 max inside the tent. Will be Peanut butter breath, Dragons Blood Hashplant, Afghani, and Velvet Krush. Other 4 x2 pbb 1xDBHP and one unknown bag seed will be going outdoors soon.

I did a slight defoliation of the skinniest branches, changed up the nutrients a bit, and dropped the light schedule to 12/12 today on 5/31 Canopy is clearly wall to wall, pretty level. May add a second support net during/after stretch. 5/1 noticed a bit of potassium deficiency in some older lower fans, so I added more trio bloom. 5/4 update: The plants are now 33in tall, and showing some N deficiency. My runoff is 1500ppm, which is about double my inflow, so I'm increasing fertigation events, and if that doesn't resolve the issue, I'll be lowing the ppm of my solution.

Day 1: This was the fastest germination I have seen. Only 72hrs from being planted to looking happy and healthy above ground. My plan is to not water this week and only rely on the humidifier which is filled with Ph’d water for feeding the plant. Now that the seedling is above ground I have changed from the 3 small CFL’s to just one 200watt CFL. I’ve added a strip of silver tape around the inside of the top of the pot to help reflect light. Day 2: Looking good. I put a few drops of water around the seedling just to dampen the soil a bit. Temperature is a bit hotter than I’d like at 30 degrees with the lights on but that’s down to the outside warm weather conditions. Seems to be okay though. Day 3: Happy and healthy. I put another few drops of water around it again to keep the soil damp, but only in close to the seedling. I’m keeping the top layer of the rest of the soil dry so it’s not appealing for little bugs and mould. Underneath the dry layer the soil is still wet since I soaked it through before planting the seed. Day 4: Getting wider but not any taller which is awesome. I put another few drops of water around the bass of the stem. The humidity doesn’t seem to be enough on its own, probably because of the high temperature. Day 5: Happy and healthy looking. Day 6: Everything is awesome. Day 7: One week old and it’s all looking good. Another few drops of water again today around the stem. Plant is starting to take shape. Wahoo, one week down.

Finishing final week before the flip to flower. All three ladies looking great. Swapped out taller legs for plant stand supporting Napali Pink (NPK, 13"), compared to The Bling (17") and Mimosa (15"). I pulled all smaller nodes starting at base and working up to 1/2/3 nodes, trying to maintain a tight node spacing for future bud development. Eliminated sucker branches. Released tension wire holding down NPK to get her to catch up with other two. I should have potted up, but plan to tomorrow (Day 2 of Week 1 Flower) to their finishing size of 7 gal fabric pots. Expecting some excellent root growth, resulting in hopefully bigger buds! Mimosa - she was the one to have first caught Powdery Mildew, having accidentally left her outside when I transplanted a few weeks ago. Sprayed her down well with potassium bicarbonate/veg oil/Dawn/water solution. Eliminated PM, but some leaves burned in process. Nevertheless, she bounced back well. She is also the tallest in the bunch at 18" tall. Napali Pink (NPK) - she was added in about a week after the other two; Hawaiian cultivar of Hindu Sun/Kauai Electric/Alaskan Thunderfuck; she is also the most hardiest and was the only plant to not get PM! Attribute that to her tropical roots, making her less susceptible to PM. She is the shortest at 13". Changed out the legs of the plant stand to accommodate and bring her up to same height as others. The Bling - this one surprised me big-time! I was ruling her out initially, after suffering some bad trauma (her main stalk was damaged), which caused her to grow 3-blade leaves! Weeks passed and she bounced back. She also contracted PM, but not as bad. A very lanky strain, with some weird node spacing. Trying to tighten up by defoliating to top node on all stems. She responded well and has since started to grow normally again, with 7-blade leaves.

Lumatek - 75% , Totally untrained! I try with defoliation, light intensity and distance from plant's top to make a flat canopy. Thanks for watching my dairy!

Had some potassium/phosphorus deficiences due to the switching from veg to flower so fast ^^
