Black Opium has continued flower development and is looking very promising. The buds are fattening up very nicely. Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness. Very good yield! 3.3 pounds of dry buds + 1 pound of trim The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke. Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!

As you can see that I have taken allot of leaves of because they were getting too yellow and drying up. So far she is fdoing great. I have been giving her les frequently water now. Like every other 3 or 4 day. Thats because she has less leaves now to hold water. The smell is just fruity and mazing. I think she still needs 2 weeks but lets see.

👉 This year, RQS launched 5 new regular strains. The seeds are packed with10 pieces. 38 seeds out of 50 turned out beautiful (see my previous diaries). 👉 Before I put the plants into bloom, I took 2 cuttings from each plant. As soon as I knew which were the female plants, I deleted the male plants and the corresponding clones. 👉 Now I am going to raise the cuttings and flower the female plants in 5 new diaries. – Eternity Grow Cup Zamnesia x Plagron - Semaine : Dernière semaine de floraison (F+9) Variété : Runtz (Zamnesia) Système : Hydro Ebb and Flow Nutrition : Plagron + Terra Aquatica (FinalPart + Green Sensation) Résumé de la semaine Cette dernière semaine de floraison a été dédiée à un rinçage optimisé pour finaliser le cycle de la Runtz de Zamnesia, une variété légendaire issue du croisement de Zkittlez et Gelato. Le système hydroponique Ebb and Flow s’est révélé ultra-efficace, permettant une absorption précise des nutriments et une gestion parfaite du climat, grâce à mon fidèle allié Trolmaster (clin d’œil à eux pour la gestion au poil du climat et des lumières !). Les cinq phénotypes cultivés ont montré une diversité incroyable en termes de structure, taille, couleurs et odeurs, rendant ce run visuellement et olfactivement spectaculaire. Voici les détails de cette semaine cruciale. Paramètres environnementaux Pour maintenir un VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) cible de 1,1 kPa, essentiel pour maximiser la production de trichomes tout en minimisant les risques de botrytis, j’ai ajusté les paramètres suivants : Température : 23-24 °C (jour) / 18-20 °C (nuit) Humidité relative : 45-50 % (optimale pour la fin de floraison, réduit les risques de moisissures tout en favorisant la résine) VPD : Maintenu à 1,1 kPa grâce à un contrôle précis via Trolmaster, qui a régulé l’humidificateur et l’extraction pour un équilibre parfait. Éclairage : PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) : 800-1000 µmol/m²/s, ajusté pour éviter le stress lumineux tout en maximisant la photosynthèse. DLI (Daily Light Integral) : 40-50 mol/m²/jour, atteint avec un cycle de 12h/12h sous LEDs full-spectrum, optimisé pour une fin de floraison explosive. Ces conditions ont été idéales pour pousser les plantes à produire des têtes denses et résineuses tout en gardant le botrytis à distance. Nutrition et Rinçage Pour cette dernière semaine, j’ai réduit l’EC de 2,45 mS/cm à 1,3 mS/cm pour amorcer un rinçage efficace, tout en évitant un choc trop violent pour les plantes. J’ai utilisé : Terra Aquatica FinalPart : Pour mobiliser les nutriments restants dans les plantes et optimiser la maturation des têtes. Plagron Green Sensation : Ajouté en faible dose pour booster la production de terpènes et de résine, tout en maintenant la qualité gustative. Le rinçage a été effectué avec une eau osmosée (EC initiale de 0,4 après ajout de Ca/Mg) et un pH ajusté à 5,5-6,0, parfaitement adapté au système hydroponique Ebb and Flow. Cette approche a permis de nettoyer les sels résiduels tout en préservant l’intégrité des trichomes et des arômes. Le système Ebb and Flow a brillé par sa capacité à fournir une irrigation homogène, assurant une fin de cycle sans stress pour les plantes. Observations des phénotypes Les cinq phénotypes de Runtz ont été un véritable festival pour les sens : Structure et taille : Certains phénotypes sont restés compacts (80-100 cm), idéaux pour l’indoor, tandis que d’autres ont atteint 130 cm avec une structure plus élancée. Couleurs : Des teintes vibrantes allant du vert vif aux nuances pourpres, avec des pistils orange flamboyants et une couche de trichomes givrés qui scintille sous les LEDs. Odeurs : La diversité terpénique est incroyable ! Selon les phénotypes, on passe d’arômes sucrés de melon et de fraise à des notes plus funky de fromage affiné ou même une touche surprenante de pieds (merci au caryophyllène et au limonène pour ce spectacle olfactif !). Les trichomes sont à leur apogée : environ 70 % laiteux, 20-25 % ambrés et encore 5-10 % transparents, signe que la récolte est imminente. L’observation au microscope révèle des têtes de trichomes bien gonflées, prêtes à offrir un maximum de puissance et de saveur. Les principaux terpènes identifiés (limonène, caryophyllène, linalool, humulène) confèrent à la Runtz son profil aromatique complexe : fruité, sucré, avec des touches terreuses et épicées, parfait pour une expérience sensorielle mémorable. Conclusion Ce run de Runtz pour l’Eternity Grow Cup Zamnesia x Plagron a été tout simplement exceptionnel. Les plantes sont magnifiques, avec des têtes denses, colorées et débordantes de résine. Tout s’est déroulé à merveille, du contrôle du climat (merci Trolmaster pour la précision chirurgicale !) à la gestion des nutriments avec Plagron et Terra Aquatica. La diversité des phénotypes a ajouté une dimension passionnante à ce projet, chaque plante étant une œuvre d’art à part entière. It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Skunk Apple plant sounds like it's finally getting on track. After a rough start, it's good to hear things are looking decent. Hopefully, it'll keep looking better and better.
