Granddaddy plant in week 6 of flowering. She is in full bloom. Bugs Issue: There are some old caterpillar holes on leaves but I think bugs situation improved. The smell from plant dropped last week after first round of insecticide spray. Smell is like plant crying out in pain after being attack by bugs. I sprayed spinetoram one more time in the beginning of the week. Late in the week, I used a USB microscope to check. And there was a Protoss tank patrolling a leaf on plant 2. On the bigger plant, I just saw carcass of dead mites strewn around. Prepping plant 2 for an early harvest. I am always happy on harvest day. Trim her and let the pot dry out for a couple of days. And plan to spray my garden with third and last round of spinetoram. Next week, I am going back to microbes. Plant 1 is doing fine. She is bigger and handles pests better. Her flowering cola’s also smell nicer. Plant 1 phenotypes is much better than plant 2. And I removed some leaves. This past week, I fed both plants with half strength potassium based orchid fertilizer. Plant 2 shows slight tip burn. So, this is the feeding limit. Plant 1 leaves are nice and green. A few leave started to yellow but I am not bothered by that issue at late flowering stage. Next week I’ll just give plant 1 a dose of yogurt and start pre-harvest preparations. Trimming, flushing, and all that. Transplanted a clone to 25-liters basket. She started to put our pistil. This is one issue with Mycorrhiza. It over stimulate the root. And root tips put our too much cytokinin that signals flowering.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 9". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Great veg week. Its an increased nutrient week. Only issue was slightly high ph in soil, so I added a little more vinegar to my water. On previous grows, I would do my LST tie downs on approx day 31-33, but growth was really good, and over 10" on 7 of 9 plants, so tied down early on those 7, on day 28. Great color and stalk girth so far.

Finally a big jump in vertical height. She's grown 15cm this week, now up to 21cm. I've had a feeling she's been struggling up till yet. Her leaves seem to be getting greener as time goes on.

Bud quality is amazing, tons of frost and very sticky. Plants didn't get big colas unfortunately it was more smaller buds everywhere but still turned out good. Very tasty, could produce lots of hash also.

Pulled her out of the tent with a 10% amber trichomes, she’s megga frosty and sticky . Bit different this one from others of grown but uniquely brilliant. Buds are dense as anything , and from the sneaky smoke I had she’s potent as . I’ll add some more pics once I’ve trimmed the buds up and got em hanging.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. 420FASTBUDS ORT2109 WEEK 6 These two gorgeous ladies are continuing to be show stoppers. Both appear to be healthy and growing great. I've continued the feed every 3days and so far they're responding well. I've had to put a oil heater in the tent as it's been getting super cold outside and more snow in the forecast. Over all very excited to see the up coming weeks progress as every weeks been different and noticeable. Happy Growing

Came in well and has officially sprouted! I put it in soil and the hanging pot I'll be using for this grow. It's a small ~.5 or less gallon pot (tbh not 100% sure), thay I'm reusing from a plant I got at a nursery a while back. I thought it'd be neat to try and grow a hanging weed plant so now here we go! Will post when the sprout comes out

Hey fellow growers week 8 update in the books! Not much happened this week besides having to raise my light to its max! The pistols were showing signs of orange pistols but it looks as though they are burning 🔥 so measured my light to plant and was sitting at 15 inches so I got it back to 18 inches but if these plants stretch any further I'm going to have to cut a hole in the top of my tent for the light!!
