Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Hello growers. Last week i started flushing because all the trichs were milky. The plant got a little bit denser in the colas. The smell is amazing. Lets hope for some quality bud. See you next week. ElegantBuds

Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳

okay, I was a bit confused with the dates uploading the diary, put these pics and video in week 4 of flower yesterday... last pictures and video are at day 33F they got dense bud compactor this week except the grinspoon... dense you have to use once in the last 3 weeks of flower each, minus the flush. so week 5-6-7 of flower. grin will get it at 11-12-13....:D:D

A quick maintenance flush today then I’ll hit her with bio diesels new rhino k powder and hopefully she will put the phat into fat bastard as she comes down the home strrt

RS11 is the queen of the tent , looking beautiful green and healthy. She strutted into the first week of flower and stacked on the height and mass production of tops . Keeping up the defol and tying her down as needed to get the light where it needs to be all week . Pretty much same same next week .

Week 7 and all is going very well with their transition to the tanks. They have begun to weave roots into the matting now so are well anchored. The C Banana has been streching out well and I am continuing the bends and squashing her stem to create a decent knot to hold her down where she is quaded. It always looks so rough but the end results can be amazing for repair strength. The monster zkittelz is a little.more busy and robust. She has some nice thick and hardy stems building and i expect she knows her fruit weight to come . Using the squashing and bending does add a little more recovery time each session but the punishment is no worse than nature would throw their way if wild. Always worth remembering a little stress can work wonders. Dont be afraid to control your grows , YOU put a lot into them , you deserve a reward for the comittment. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Apr 16, Day 6 - VPD 1.0 - 500ml water with Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L, Vitathrive @ 0.5ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml/L. - 300ppm with 5.8pH - Her leaf tips are staying more horizontal. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Lovely to smoke. With a great weight given the set back with nute lock. Which Is the downfall to this run. Because this happened In last 3weeks which certainly resulted in small buds. However I am totally pleased with final weight and smoke from.this girl. Xx

Successful germination, actually started first seeds in June, popped 4 beans but during early growth I lost two seeds to over watering so I ended up with on 2 plants to fill 3 pots. Ended up trying 4 more beans in the same method, a couple months down the road,only lost 1 to over watering this time. So now I have 5 pheno's, 3 plants for now and 2 I'm saving clones of for later. Never had a problem with this kind of thing before so it speaks to the sensitivity of this strain. (More evidence later) start of actual seeds on this first run was August 18th.
