The seeds germinated after 1-3 days, 1x runtz unfortunately did not germinate. 3 Days after the germination the plants were growing too quickly so I repot them them in deeper and increased the light intensity to 50% = 100 watts. When repotting in biobizz light mix, the plants were also given a load of Mykorrizah from Great white premium.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

First week of flower has come and gone. Had a slight PH problem in the ladies that with a little help from some growmies we got it fixed just before they started the stretch faze. Now I've done a small defol just to get rid of some bigger fan leafs blocking the lower growth. And cut out anything that was hindered from the dominant branches.. she should get one last defol in two weeks. And will be starting the PK regiment after next week.

Merlin Mintz Autoflower is growing great. She got lollipopped and a defoliation. She is ready for more stretching, and to do some budding. Everything is looking great. She took to the neem oil treatment last week good. Little Shiney from oil residue still. But I can live with it. Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

I thought the weird split this plant had a few weeks ago would be the talking point of this plant not her epic height!! I have bent over her main cola now because of headroom issues. First watering with 6-12-36 powder mixed at 1g/Litre

Well overall i would say i failed these girls but oh well, i have 4 more of these seeds so i will be trying them again in the future, hopefully i get better results.

Critical Purple Kush was an effortless grow. The plant beside her got spider kites but they didn't like that CPK so much. She had a few show up on lower leaves, never any webs. I treated for them twice and they never resurfaced.

Week 6 Notes & Observations: No new issues to note, no mites found after the first and I have used Spinosad twice now just in case. P2 is getting stressed over ties and no ring, so I decided they will both go on a ring after i broke another branch without realizing it. Found it the next day and then topped the other side to gain two colas there - still 8 set but with varied start time's and points. Still looking to flip around new year’s day. Day 58 (last feed was day 55) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 1oz. (12lbs 10oz before last feed) and P2 weighed 11lbs 8oz before feed (11lbs 8oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of purified water with a mix of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 300ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 190ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.75ph (6.25 last time). After feed this time, P1 weighed 21lbs 5oz and P2 also weighed 21lbs 11oz (both weighed 20lbs 9oz after last feed). I got ~8 cups of runoff on P1 and 10 cups on P2 this time (8 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 after last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.42 with 970ppm (6.36 with 1110ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.41 with 980ppm ( 6.35 with 1170ppm last feed). no top soil tests this time as ph is mostly showing no issues - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.5 to 6.75ph again - I dont see any issues from feed or training.
