02/26/2022 Just enoying the smell, pollination was successful! On #6 seeds forming nicely 🙏🏻 Also some weird stretching I'm top buds from accidentally leaving light's on a couple days. But should be good. looks like my efforts to pollinate one branch didn't do so well plenty of seeds to grow out now lower buds look clean of pollen no sign of pollination. Should start adding weight in next two weeks.

Week 11, the third week of flowering, has been an absolute blast in our Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Hold onto your hats, because we've got a tale of growth, defoliation, sticky fingers, and some sneaky chocolate donut escapades! This week was like a whirlwind of excitement. Our Tangie decided to go all out with her growth spurt – she's stretching up like a true ninja reaching for the skies. She's growing so tall that I had to channel my inner MacGyver and grab some wire for an impromptu second support LED. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Now, here comes the twist – she grew so rapidly that I just couldn't wait until day 21 for that defoliation dance. Nope, I decided to take action at day 19! Check out the edited video included in this report – it's like witnessing a botanical makeover! And speaking of twists, you won't believe what happened next. In the scorching heat, after some serious defoliation action, I found solace in a picole ice-cream. Because hey, even ninja gardeners need a sweet break! And guess who were my accomplices? My trusty ninja buddies, of course. They know how to keep it cool. As if that wasn't adventurous enough, we applied a second layer of the scrog net. And let me tell you, by the end, my gloves were coated in that stickie, fragrant resin. Sticky fingers, sticky situation, totally worth it! Oh, and let's not forget my quirky habit of bottom watering. Why, you ask? It's like a secret ninja technique – it encourages the roots to reach down deep and fosters a stronger root system. The stretch is slowing down and the buds are starting. The one I topped has lots of bud sites 👍 we will see witch has a better yield. It has a fruity smell with a diesel after smell. 🔥🔥

Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

It has now been 7 days since switching the light schedule to 12/12. The plants received a compost tea feeding, and the wick irrigation system is working exactly as intended. So far, it has been performing exceptionally well.

2018-11-19 Flowering in full swing. Pulling slows down. In the morning, on the day of the compote replacement, my PPM-meter broke down. Therefore, the new solution was kneaded by eye. Tomorrow a new device will arrive and I will clarify what I have mixed there. 2018-11-24 Buds swell, there is time to figure out how to do time lapse video.

29.09.2024 - Day 17 every plant was dry after 3 days, i only gave them 3L of plain rainwater pH 6.0-7.0~ each 04.10.2024 - Day 22

Bit disappointed with the phenotype.

Everything is good, they were a little hungry this week and lost some lower leaves due to mobile deficiency but I did feed twice and problem resolved itself. I plan to defoliate the canopy to some extent this week. Light is at 100% now. Mimozz is smelling sooo good - it's crazy. I love it and can't wait to try some rosin from this strain. On the other hand - Strawberry Cough is not smelling at all. The rest of them are smelling good but nothing special to report :) Till the next week, cheers!

Week 5 ----- Day 29 ----- Fed 1100ppm at 6.4ph 23 Liters Everything's good. No real updates. Front right Glookies stretched a bit but has stopped. Plants are perfect, couldn't ask for a better beginning to week 5. *Update* Easy day, end of light cycle. 3 new pics. ---- Day 30 ----- Some fun photos today for this easy day. Humidity in basement FINALLY hit 40% this morning. Within 5 days it should be 30-35% residual basement and 45% tent for a good residual humidity. The hand shot has my fingers and palm forward from the bud tip, the bud tip is actually past my hand but it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot with my arm in the tent and my other one far out trying to take a photo i can't see. The Tropicanna Popcorn nugs are already bigger than my thumb... gonna be fun in 4 weeks to see bud finishing sizes Wedding Cake - Cherry HubbaBubba smell Tropicanna Glookies - Pink Bubblegum with a strawberry like hint peaking through. Fattening up nicely. 1200 ppm 6.4 pH 23 Liters If anyone is wondering why I switched to Blackstrap Molasses I put up the Nutrition Facts.. in 20 grams you have carbohydrates, potassium, Calcium, Iron, B6 Vitamin, Magnesium, Zinc.. and that's only the "significant" nutrients (Human based for that picture) It also contains micro traces of copper and more. pH is quite nice too, with the nutrient regiment i'm on, it finishes itself at 6.4pH so I don't have to manipulate it with pH up/down... Loving everything so far. Humidity in basement was 39% today, SO damn close. Tent closed at lights on (highest residual humidity point) was at 48% ... woo hoo 3% more to go!!! ------ Day 32 ------ Wow. Wedding Cake larger buds I can't even wrap my hand around.. These buds are going to be mooooonstrous. Humidity was under 40% in basement, tent was 48% this morning. Great news for me. Easy day, pretty much standard operating procedures from here on out.. feed, drain dehumidifier, strengthen stems by shaking plants, open/close tents... rinse repeat. Both plants are amazing, great genetics so far regarding bud structure building/plant size. ----- Day 33 ----- 47.5% residual humidity Fed at 1150ppm 6.4pH 23L Everything's perfect, 30~ days left. ----- Day 34 ----- 48% humidity in tent, i'm a happy camper. Everything's perfect. Bulk has started, front right Tropicanna Glookies had double in thickness and diameter top buds of most stems. Wedding cake 14 inch stem I've named Big Bertha. Excited to watch her fatten up on the couch so-to-speak. I'm now on autopilot. Fed yesterday while half asleep, didn't even remember doing it. Thank god I take pics of ppm/pH before every feeding for data. One more feeding this week before week 6 happens tomorrow. This week Liquid Koolbloom ends, KoolBloom Dry begins for maximum bulk on week 6 first feeding (2 days into week 6) ----- Day 35 ----- Last day of week 5!!! Fed at 1150ppm 6.4ph 23L Plants are perfect, humidity is great. Smell is RAMPED up now. Strong candy weed smell.

Day 63 Well there’s not much going on. Just watering when dry. They seem to be doing better. They are fattening up a bit more and putting on some density. I can tell by the fact that they’re leaning more. This is a 10 wk strain, but I’m gonna push it a bit longer til the trichomes are in a better range. They have a sweet tropical smell which is quite nice. Not the frostiest buds ever, but we’ll see how it shakes out. The smallest front one is the frostiest of the round. We’re just on autopilot til the end. Probably a week or 2 more and they’ll be ready to come down. Happy Growing 🌱
