Moin, Die Blütewoche 9 ist vorbei und wir befinden uns wahrscheinlich in der letzten Blütewoche. Vermutlich könnte die White Sweet Candy OG auch noch eine Woche mehr vertragen leider geht es aber terminlich und wegen der Z nicht anders. In der letzten Woche haben die Blüten nochmal deutlich an Masse zu genommen und die Trichome sind wirklich dicht and dicht gepackt. Wirklich eine wunderschöne Pflanze, sie hat einfach Bock zu wachsen und die Qualität an Blüten beeindruckt mich wirklich. Anfangs war ich noch etwas skeptisch was das Terpenprofil angeht, da es stark von einem würzigen Profil dominiert wurde, was mich wirklich sehr an eingelegte Gurken erinnert hat. Woche für Woche steigert sich der süße candy Geruch immer weiter und mittlerweile ist es wirklich eine schöne sehr süße Mischung aus Süßigkeiten und der eingelegten Würze. Wirklich interessant und für mich bisher ein Volltreffer. 🍃 Die oberen Blätter zeigen mittlerweile schon deutlich, dass es ihnen zu nah an der LED ist, leider kann ich daran auch nicht mehr viel ändern und auch hier zeigt sich dieser Strain von seiner sehr stabilen und robusten Art. Wirklich eine Grow Empfehlung an alle, sobald dieser Strain verfügbar ist.

Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A | Week 3 The Awkward Start Is Officially Behind Her Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Each phenotype receives its own diary so development can be followed independently, allowing subtle differences in structure, vigor, and expression to reveal themselves over time. This week marked one of the most significant environmental changes since the project began. The lighting intensity was increased from approximately 370 µmol/m²/s PPFD to 700 µmol/m²/s PPFD at canopy level. Rather than easing into the increase slowly, the decision was made to provide the plants with a much stronger light source and observe their response carefully. The result? They loved it. Alongside the increase in light intensity, feeding volumes and nutrient strength were also adjusted to support the accelerating growth rate. Growing Method: 12/12 From Seed 💦 Water Consumption: ~0.9–1.2L per day Feeding Schedule Days 18 * EC 1.0 * pH 5.99–6.0 * Approximately 1L Day 21 * EC 1.3 * pH 6.0 * Approximately 1.2L As always, the objective remains simple: provide stable conditions, observe carefully, and allow each plant to express its own personality. ⸻ Blueberry Muffin Pheno A I have to admit, this one is becoming increasingly enjoyable to watch. If you’ve been following this diary since germination, you’ll remember that this phenotype showed a few odd characteristics during its earliest days. The first leaves arrived with a slightly unusual appearance and briefly raised some questions about how she would develop. Fast forward to Week 3 and those concerns feel very distant. The new growth is absolutely beautiful. Leaf structure has normalized completely, color is rich and healthy, and the overall plant has developed into a compact, vigorous young specimen with excellent symmetry throughout the canopy. One of the first things that stands out is the internodal spacing. Despite the substantial increase in PPFD, the plant continues to stack nodes tightly, creating a dense structure that suggests strong genetic vigor and efficient use of the available light. Rather than stretching upward, she is focusing her energy on building a solid framework. Looking closely at the canopy, the branching is already beginning to establish itself naturally. Side shoots are emerging confidently and there is a clear sense that this plant is preparing for the next stage of development rather than simply adding height. At this point she is already pushing into the seventh to eighth node range, which is impressive considering the timeline and the 12/12-from-seed approach being used throughout the project. The foliage itself is another highlight. Large, healthy fan leaves radiate outward from the center of the plant, creating a broad solar panel that is capturing every available photon. Color remains a lush, vibrant green from top to bottom, with no signs of stress despite the environmental changes introduced this week. The newest growth is particularly exciting. The central growth tip is expanding rapidly and showing the kind of vigor that makes a grower eager to check on the plant every day. There is a feeling that this phenotype is only beginning to reveal what it has planned. For now, she sits comfortably among the stronger performers in the room, combining healthy structure, excellent color, strong branching, and compact growth habits into a very promising package. Most importantly, she simply looks happy. And happy plants tend to tell the best stories. ⸻ Looking Ahead The coming week should be very revealing. With the root zone continuing to expand, nutrient levels increased, and lighting now operating at a much higher intensity, the pace of development is expected to accelerate noticeably. The autopots are flying now , you can see the Cuppa T has gone from the biggest to the smallest plant. In 10 days. I have been defoliating daily as the plants are growing so fast now. Will flip on Monday hopefully there should be a new flowering light arriving soon, a slight upgrade. I have also been giving the plants a weekly foliar feed with some of the KNF nutrients I have , FAA (Fish Amino Acid) WCAP ( Water Soluable Calcium Phosphate ) and LAB ( Lacto Bacillus )

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!

Another week passed and all plants looking much more tough, healthy and new leaves are not curling at all. So recovery after wind burn went well. Also, yellowing stopped on new leaves, so I fixed mag deficiency I guess. Plants started to produce nice tropical smell, and I know its a good sign. Also lots of trichomes started on all jacks and critical jack. Only the talles plant, Somango, is still not fast as others but I guess its just becouse of the pheno. Cheers guys!

We are probably on the last 2/3 weeks. I am checking the whitewidow tricomes 2 in 2 days because i think she will be the first to harvest. The Sweet Gelato for me is a surprise and probably will be the last to harvest, she is big and getting thick with alot of snow :). The Blueberry its the smaller one but still getting thick as hell.
