It's everyone's favorite piece of space rock, Crowley's Comet! The culmination of reversing our Matterhorn cut off Mr. Crowley to Intergalactic Runtz, and the results were out of this world (I had to do it). These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride, they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. If you're looking for your hype fix, here you go.

Amazing stretch last week, but it’s still not enough. After day 36 defoliation, the plant has started putting many energies on branch development. As a result, in the night between day 36 and 37 she created many pistils and increased leaves number on every branch. It’s interesting how main branches have fattened up on cropped points. As you can see on the photos, some of them are huge!
Day 36: made some defoliation because lower branches were covered by leaves! Light penetration is now optimal.
Day 38: another huge cropping on every branch I could find, even on lower ones. EVERY SINGLE BRANCH, snapped!

The girls are thirsty this week even if the climate hasn't change that much.
13L/Day is the same amount of water needed during the stretch phase.
Nice colorations has started to shows up on phenos 3 and 5.

That’s a wrap! Wow some really sizable nugs. Paid off to wait to stress train til later on as I feel like this plant had a lot more size and cola count to her than her sisters harvested a few weeks back. A treat to grow! On to the next 😘

So far, so good! Stretching is almost done I hope. They are starting to stack on the buds.
Still seeing discolouration on the one plant. I’m was going to go full strength. But I think my problem is nutrient lockout from overfeeding. So I did a plain water on day 69.

Struggled with slow growth and nutrient burn on 2/4. Found the Coco ph at 7.5, watered with 5.5 and it's now testing around 6.5! They are happy and growth speed has definitely picked up.
All have been topped atleast once and Lst on 3/4 so far.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil.
Day 1 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil.
Day 2 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not finished, but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I finished topping off these pots with soil that is premixed with nutrients. The rain is watering today.
Day 3 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain.
Day 4 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal , 30 ml Plant Tone, and 50 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose.
Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #2and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening
Day 6 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies.
Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. This morning we had plenty of rain and wind. No need for watering. The skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening.
This week was a success. We had lots of rain, cool nights and humidity. This caused the #2 and #3 plant to develop powdery mildew. This is the challenge here on the Ozark Plateau. We are strictly organic. We use no systemic fungicides and the only pesticide we use is occasionally is organic pyrethrin spray. That said, now that we've identified the plants that don't have immunity, we'll treat with Arber bio fungicide. This treatment will last 5 days then they have to make it with what they were born with. Also the nutrients ran a little hot on them. That and the several hours of rain depriving them of iron has their centers looking rough. They'll be better next week.

3/3 COP is looking great. I should’ve grown her separately because 3/4 plants in the grow tent are indica dominant. I feel that she is the only one that is showing sativa dominant phenotype and is continuing to grow although budding has started. It worries me because I only have a few more inches of space to lift my lights before I may have to super crop her. She’s drinking about 2.5-3 gallons of water every 4-5 days. I also installed another scrog net.

Como se puede ver en el timelapse de la semana anterior la planta va dejando atrás esos problemas de crecimiento de hojas y cada vez va más rápida ayudada principalmente por ese gran par de hojas del segundo nudo. He realizado una poda apical justo después del cuarto nudo como se puede ver en las imagenes. APlicaré LST cuando esas dos ramas principales estén claramente visibles, lo que calculoque será en un par de días y posteriormente colocaré la maya de scrog (calculo que esto será sobre la cuarta semana de crecimiento), dependiendo como vea la malla entonces pasaré a ciclo de floración o dejaré otra semana de crecimiento, pero máximo 5 semanas de vegetativo. La fertilización la mantengo sin cambios, aun queda bastante solución nutritiva en el depósito, la cual mantiene el ph a cerca de 6 (6.07) y la ec al estabilizarse ha subido un poco 1,7 que sigue siendo un buen valor.

In der letzten Vegi-Woche präsentiert sich die Pflanze in bestem Zustand.
Da die sechs Hauptriebe inzwischen recht stabil und kaum noch biegsam sind, gehe ich kein Risiko ein und drücke sie nicht weiter unter das Scrog-Netz.
Um sie dennoch ungefähr auf gleicher Höhe zu halten, habe ich sie mit einem am Netz befestigten Draht etwas weiter nach außen und unten gezogen.
In der Mitte haben sich inzwischen viele neue Nebentriebe entwickelt und den Bereich gut gefüllt.
Zum Ende der Woche habe ich die Umstellung auf die Blüte vorbereitet.
Der Cover Crop wurde so weit wie möglich zurückgeschnitten und mit Hanffasermulch abgedeckt.
So möchte ich die oberste Schicht trockener halten und die Stickstoffproduktion durch Klee und Weidegras verringern.
Der Tropfring wurde entfernt und durch fünf Blumat-Verteiltropfer mit jeweils 20 cm Abstand ersetzt.
Ab jetzt soll die Bewässerung wieder automatisch über Blumat laufen.
Es wurde erneut mit Nematoden gegossen.
Die Trauermücken werde ich bislang nicht los.
Vielleicht hilft der Mulch, weil er den Zugang zur Erde erschwert.
Der VPD wurde erneut erhöht, und zum Ende der Woche schalte ich den Luftbefeuchter aus.

Semaîe 5 fini, les têtes grossisent lentement mais surement, je pense pousser les nutriment 1 semaine de plus ou 2 avant rinçage car pistil encore bien blanc pour un debut de semaine 6.

Last week of flower, I flushed during the last 4 days, I didn't do big flushes I simply water the plants with plain water, last 3 days of complete darkness.
I think that next time I will complete the flush and then give 3 days of complete darkness, the fact that the plant is not receiving light makes flushing harder because the plant drinks less water.
During the last 3 days, the humidity was always greater than 50% but the plants didn't seem affected.
Before I started the flush the pant was only receiving 8h of light.
I'm currently drying the plants, the temperature fluctuates between 17 and 19 degrees, I start with 65% humidity and I reduce 1% of humidity every day. I Do a 14 day dry

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage.
Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows.
The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures).
I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture).
