Loud hashy, pepper, sulfur, rotten fruit, lemon, and Skittles terps. The landraces got nice structure, terps and yield but resin is lacking. I think that's normal. Gonna have to cross these a few times till I find something great that is worth it.

Spend the day in my veggie garden working. In the evening I brought some 🐞for Tropicana because I spottet a few lice. My mood changes drastically as I find spider mites eggs, first and second stadium. Don‘t overthink that and decide to defoliate the plant immediately. I prepare a tee out of the leaves which brings fast relaxation. My mood is much better now. Day 37 In the morning with better light I find more spider mites and decide to wash the plant with rainwater. Can‘t find after any more of these little killer dwarfs. I decide to bring more beetles and check the leafs more often. Temperature is felling under 20 degrees, it‘s raining and the humidity is 87%. Day 38 In the early morning I couldn‘t find any mites on Tropicana. Got to continue controlling this in the next weeks regular. I‘m sure they are still there somewhere hidden in a dark spot. 🌦️ 13 - 21 degrees and humidity is around 60-70%. Day 39 🌦️🌧️ Very rainy day. Just let Tropicana enjoy life and tie down the top one more time. 🐞 stay since some days. One on every plant. I think the mites are a result of their start inside and no hygiene at all. Have the same with my peppers some years. 14 - 21 degrees, humidity around 84% Day 40 🌧️☁️🌤️☀️15 degrees, humidity 83% We listen to Roots Reggae, Tropicana is happy and quite busy with producing new roots, I guess. Wow...these plants are just monsters, i have never grown anything like it. I you do not control the growth or defoliant enough you in trouble. Th flowers are growing at a phenomenal rate, looking at the structure, it's going to be dense bud. I have treated the plants again against mildew, it's very crowded in there and is getting more so every day. So far I'm very happy with the strain although not the easiest to grow. If things are going this well at this point...another 4 weeks...😀..its going to be amazing. Stay tuned. 😁

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. The buds are insanely sticky… even with gloves, the smell lingers on your skin for hours haha! I trimmed a few “Dexter style” just to show the density, but normally I leave more leaf on. Those sugar leaves are absolutely coated in trichomes.

Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

Taking a heavy heat wave in my area... so my girls are beeing cooked alive I hate to see them like this... I already added more CO2 to help them compensate a bit. Well the clones are beeing flushed for almost 5 days now in 4-6 days im gonna put them into 48 h darkness and harvest wish me the best =) Trichomes are looking evenly brownish all over the plants now just like I love them :P Also trying out the Clean fruits for flushing will see what it can do for me=)

2024/05/05 : I was away for a few days, there are buds everywhere now... gave them a shot of bio PK. The height is 48 cm : LED is 20 cm away but I can move it up. I wait to see if Blueberry can handle it as it is, it shouldn't stretch much more. DLI between 34 and 42. It drank 12.5 L last 5 days. Fan leaves are dark green and the smell is present (lemon for the moment) : last watering with bio PK in two weeks and I shouldn't do anything else until end. I like Autopot+Biotabs!😍

the girls have really taken off, things are going well, just trying to deal with my humidity. I do not have a dehumidifier, and the outside % is +60%....so it hard to bring it down too much. I think I may need to purchase on in the near future. Also would like to get C02 going but realize I'll need a dehumidifier first, so I went cheap and designed a C02 generator from my wine making supplies. It's producing bubbles, as you can see in the video, but not too sure how much its contributing, especially since I have the fan on for controlling the humidity. but it was fun to build
