Had a busy week and have lost track of exactly what happened on which day. Early in the week I noticed slowing growth and so checked runoff EC which was drastically into the negative, indicating the plants were taking in more nutrients than I was providing them. I have been increasing inflow EC all week. This has caused MASSIVE growth. I continued to adjust the LST points as well as commencing some defoliation after first pestils showed. This is the only real sign of flowering on either of the two plants thus far which is great as it will see these plants continue to get larger and larger. At nearly full concentration of suggested nutrients, I am quite surprised the plants are taking in as much as they are. Noticed the Blue Diesel is growing 9 pronged fan leaves which is a sign of great health. I am really enjoying growing with coco coir. It is so easy to manage though it does involve daily work. There is very little guess work and so long as you are good with plants already, it seems like the coir offers "the best of both worlds" between soil and full hydro. I do intend on starting a soil grow in the next few weeks to compare. Stay tuned!

Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

Day 82. Its 81 day from seed touched soil ! If leaves would be healthier, i would run them at least one more week, but it is, what it is. They spent 24 hours in darkness and now its Trim Jail !!! ;))) Harvest Day ! Day 88. Tried bud from each, clearest weed straight from drying rack ! Only 3 feeds makes huge difference to harshness at the beggining. Still Queen is pure Tangie, can it be seed mistake ? ;))) Day 89. Boy i am f@ckingly surprised !!! This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. Day 49: last day of nutrition for the fast eddy, which seems to be almost ready already. Took one clone per plant on day one of week 7 and flipped to flowering. Defoliated as well and have a feeding of 1-5-2-5 of Cal Mag and General Hydro Trio. Feeding every other or third day depending on soil moisture content. Clones got Foop cloning gel and are in peat pellets in germinating rack at 85 deg F. I might have messed up by cutting off all the fan leaves, but we will see if they take root.

Everything is looking really good. I decided to remove more fan leaves than I was comfortable with, I guess I will see how it affects overall growth. I figure the stretch should be done, so now the main focus is on the flowers. The smell is sweet like berries that were dipped in kerosene (like toxic gas)

What a difference a few weeks makes with better weather and better temperatures inside the plants have really taking off could be flipping this tent in a few more weeks will need to plan ahead and get the lot of plants going so I have a constant flow of flowering and vegging tents

This is a very interesting week! After mainlining, I transplanted the lady into a 3L AirPot, adding 3 spoons of Mykos by Xtreme Gardening, 45g of BioMagno Algae and 5g of BioMagno Neem Flour. I uploaded a time-lapse video that shows the process. Then I fed her with the nutes you see above this comment, in 1L of water (actually, 750ml would be better). I hope you liked this week content! Day 28 (May 7, 2019): 0.5L of tap water with Activator @ 0.5ml/L and Rizostimo @ 1ml/L.

Day 22 everything seems to be ok 😃👌 Day 23 still growing good 😃👌 Day 24 there is an upgrade with LED light... Das Blattwerk sieht gesund aus, die internodalen Abstände sind kurz und gedrungen, was auf ein gutes Lichtmanagement hindeutet. 📏 Die aktuelle Höhe liegt bei 12 cm. Die Umgebungswerte haben sich bei einer Durchschnittstemperatur von 27 Grad und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 58 Prozent eingependelt. Das ist ein solider Korridor für dieses Stadium, in dem die Pflanze ihre Stoffwechselprozesse langsam hochfährt. 💧 Die Wassertemperatur lag im Schnitt bei 21 Grad, was ideal ist, um den Wurzeln keinen Kälteschock zu verpassen und die Sauerstoffaufnahme im Substrat zu begünstigen. Die Pflanze zeigt sich durstig, aber nicht übermäßig, was zeigt, dass der aktuelle Gießrhythmus gut auf das Substrat und das Wurzelvolumen abgestimmt ist. 📸 Beobachtung für die kommende Zeit: Die Strawberry Banana beginnt jetzt zusehends mit der Seitentriebbildung. Wenn das Wachstum in diesem Tempo weitergeht, werde ich in der nächsten Woche über erstes sanftes Training nachdenken, um das Licht besser in die unteren Bereiche zu leiten.
