Looking For A Keeper cream of the crop seeds purple paralysis 2nd April 2021 First of all ... Phew!!!! That was a long grow!! I've done all of the Main trimming and have a heap of Jars full of Stinky Buds ready to begin the curing process. It was a challenge growing in new conditions during Summer with Temps often getting above 45 degrees celcius Thunderstorms and High winds became an issue once or twice and finally the worst part was the Bloody Caterpillars 馃槪 Those buggers gave me the absolute shits for the last 5 weeks of the plants life . These plants actually started from clones taken from a Purple paralysis plant that I was hoping to flower last year. However due to an unavoidable trip away I lost that plant but the clones survived. So then my plan became to plant them both into a garden bed filled with my soil mix which basically consisted of locally sourced Red dirt and washed river sand mixed with Cattle manure , worm castings , garden lime and Lucerne mulch. The Plants thrived thru the summer months and into Autumn and ended up yielding 19 ounces plus Lots of good quality trim. I love this strain and have definately found myself a Keeper in this one . I'd really like to get the oppurtunity to try other strains from Cream of the crop seeds and maybe I will before too long. I wont go into too much more detail about the grow and how it played out , instead I put up some pics from various stages of the plants progress as they say pictures are worth a thousand words. Thanks must be said to you all for checking in from week to week and for the likes left I truly appreciate it. Well thats the end of my 6 month long diary I hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by 馃憤馃憤

Started the flush about 5 days ago and been working on using up nutrition in plant. Plant showing signs of nitrogen level lowering and working on closing out in next 7 to 10 days. 1 more update prior to harvest. Thanks again for likes and follows. Special thanks to fastbuds. Happy growing

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

7/19 I鈥檝e come upon the realize that I had been under watering to an extreme degree. I have since adjusted accordingly today and hope they look better tomorrow. Did remove some leaves and then found out I really shouldn鈥檛 have, hopefully I didn鈥檛 stunt them.i believe they are now flowering and next watering I will be adding some tiger bloom at very low strength. the newts I鈥檝e given them have shown tip nute burn often and I have been very minimally watering so my conclusion is my soil was so full of nutes I could have waited until now most likely to start my first feedings. I鈥檝e read about this and w ocean forest this seems to be the trend. Still really happy about the progress. Peace

the one in the middle has some issues because of pH & EC fluctuations (my mistake) but otherwise buds are forming nicely 馃憣馃徎and that node spacing on the right plant is looking super promising 馃槇 and then we have the one on the left that's kinda recovering so fingers crossed 馃馃徎 end of week update: speed of those buds fattening is incredible, every day they're becoming bigger and bigger 馃槷

I'm thrilled to share another exciting update on my flourishing journey. We have now reached week 4 of the flowering phase, and I must say it has been an incredible period of growth and progress. The plants continue to stretch magnificently, and the onset of bud production has been truly remarkable. As we progress through this crucial stage, I remain attentive to the well-being of my plants. They have developed a healthy thirst, consuming approximately 4 liters of water every 2 days. The pH level of the nutrient solution stands at a steady 6.11, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake. Furthermore, the TDS range between 1050 and 1150 provides the ideal nutrient balance. In light of the unfortunate hermaphroditism incident experienced by a fellow grower, I have been diligently checking my plants for any signs of similar issues. So far, I'm pleased to report that everything is progressing smoothly, and I haven't encountered any Bananas or seeds (it's hard to check the back sides). That's it for this week! Happy growing, lads!
