So this plant is phenomenal with her recovery abilities. At this point, she recovered from her previous topping only 7 days ago, and grown the final 2 inches I was waiting for. As of 4/26, she is now on 12/12. Additional nutrients will be added to her for her flower period. Time-lapse again had an error, this time, I swear, it was not me. Looks like the camera and server stopped communicating until both were restarted. So as a reference, this plant is now 10 weeks from seed. She has been topped 3 times for a total of 8 crowns. I expect harvest to be approximately 10 weeks from now. But we all know how far expectations can take us.

Weekly update on these beautiful color girls. They've definitely started smelling strong this week and flowers swelling daily. Over all they're growing great, some looking further along then others. I might do a light defoliation but will see how this week goes before I do. All in all Happy Growing.

There's a slight smell of a cheese bud. Only got about 0.6 ounce bud can improve on that with better LST. I have a lack of pictures because it has been smoked. 😃

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Finally starting to shape her, had to supercrop the branches do I could bend them around the first X. WIll be getting a replacement for those cable ties/tie-wraps. She's looking like she's surviving the torture, at least a few days after training her. Update: doing fine, didn't tie her up too much so she just kept growing like nothing happened, which is still insane to me. Crazy how much cannabis plants can handle, I don't have much to compare her too, but this Amnesia Haze is deffo suitable for very high stress training.

Entering week 2 of flower! She did A LOT of growing and changing in the first week and I was able to get her canopy laid out nicely in the 4X4! This week is a continuation of that. Slowing tying down branches as not to stress her out. She came down with some broad mites last week ( I can only assume despite all precautions, I brought them home from work, as we had a problem with them in our veg room a couple weeks back) Steady, heavy Nuke Em applications is showing improvement! 3/28 Update: We seem to have won against the bugs! I will continue preventative sprays for a week or so just to be sure they are gone, but I think we are in the clear. I believe I have successfully managed her canopy as well. We are two weeks into the stretch and she has plenty of room to go up now (which was my main concern with her)! I actually brought her down from 43in in the last week of veg to 40 inches this morning through dropping a net and slowly tying and spreading branches! 😁

In dieser Woche hab ich das letzte topping durchzogen. Ich habe jetzt aus 8 hauptriebe pro Pflanze 16 hauptriebe gemacht. Die hauptriebe werde ich jetzt bis zum topfrand waschen lassen und dann straigt up nach oben wachsen lassen. Was ich bisher raus lesen konnte ist das die Orange Creampop extrem hungrig auf CalMag ist. Vielleicht lieget es auch dab der LED aber sie benötigt viel CalMag.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.
