Which will be useful as she seems to be on the smaller side. Possibly due to lower RH early on. Otherwise she seems to be doing ok. Attempted a layer of clay pellets after soaking in PH'd water for 16 hours, to combat the gnats from reaching the soil. I feel like sand may have been a better choice and removed the clay before feeding again. There are so few gnats that its not much of an issue, but I'd like to eliminate the threat before flowering really kicks in.

And ended up removing a big chunk of her that she was pushing out. (removed her next set above the one on day 35) and topped all nodes then to compensate. So topped 8 times × the main top. Noticed a very light fade in-between the vains, showing a very light mag def. Sprayed with a Epsom Salt Foliar spray 200ppm and dosed her with a 250ppm feed 6.6ph for both. All in all. I'm very happy with how this wk went. Still a few days to go in this week. Growth has been rapid. Doesn't look like it. But, she was much further ahead. I've redid her whole process 3x now. And, each time. It's set her back. 2-3 weeks in this shape with solid LST and she'll be fine. She's going under my SE5000 now with co2. All my 3x3 will be covered. Just waiting on my lux Uni-T meter. (To make my own ppfd map as the lux meter comes with an app that converts your lights lux spectrum into ppfd. You can set your area size. And find which ppfd is in what area of your tent by doing grids tests, software is still in development phase, but looks very promising. Has a 97% match to the apogee brands, they're the ppfd meter you see on all major light markers, and growers that have 700e to spare) Back to this girl. She is a great grower, as I said. Look back at week 4. She could of easily been flipped and made for a mid sized indica. I'm going a different route. And having fun shaping and making an even canopy. She has thin fingered leaves. So, not a bad indica to do a scrog with. But, I think I'll settle for 2 more weeks of growth and good LST and I'll put her to the flip. Thanks for viewing these 2 weeks. Starting to smell wonderful now.

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. For 6 plants I got 415 grams which is so far, again my most yield to date. I think the light is deffo a factor plus the genetics help. It says it has up to 27% THC, it was deffo one of my favourites and I think I’ll be growing this again in the future. I’m terrible of explaining the smell and taste but it was really danky and a lot of my mates loved it.

3/4 Day 15 Flower Changing PK to KoolBloom as the Peak has run out. Will work up the CT nuets to @10ml/gal or so as the burnt tips have proven kind of a red herring. Loving the dual light sources, makes things so much easier. 3/5 Day 16 More pics Nuets up to 925 ppm, thats unadjusted for the water (@125 ppm) Fish Sh!T added for terps among other reasons, they just explode with this stuff. Took the last of the loofy branches that were not getting light. Plants look almost lollipoped but thats due to the stretch we were fight during the tent space problem. 3/6 Day 17 Pics, prob last of the week unless something presents itself. Leaving nuets as is for now. Zhaan is really coming along being a tad shorter than the rest. Little clean up today so took the opportunity for better pics Having some issues find coco coir hope its temporary. Update Burnt tips have worsened a bit with the increase in Bloom nuets (nitrogen) Keeping the nuets as is for now keeping an eys on em. If I have to decrease will up the PK to compensate. 3/7 Day 18 Flower Tips have not worsened so leaving CT Bloom as is but did increase PK slightly and decrease Fish Sh!T to 1 ml/gal try and make it last a bit longer , stuff aint cheap and this is enough. Input Feed - 900 ppm Runoff - 1180 ppm well within limits 3/9 Day 20 Flower Upped the PK to 4ml/gal and feed to 925 ppm, that will be the top end and carry that level for at least a week before ending PK. Buds are frosting up and growing large pics when I can Really liking this strain guys... whatever it may be 😜 Redid the grow room and tent completely, improved the girls environment somewhat but mainly for space reasons. 3/21: That last quarter-strength nutrient feeding seems to have taken well. Amnesia is bulking up slowly, and isn't letting go of as many dead leaves today. I am removing any crispy leaves I can find from Trainwreck as well. She isn't letting go of any leaves like Amnesia is, they're just ugly as sin. Oh well, they're doing their job. I am keeping the humidity to match the current temperature according to the VPD charts, like every week, so I haven't been lowering the humidity over time because of the heat in the tent. 3/22: Leaves are looking greener today. Just keeping an eye out for any loose leaves ready to be removed from either plant. Not many so far today.

So at start of week i raised the three smaller plants and evened out the canopy. That lasted maybe two days and then back right took off and is again 6-8" taller than any other plant hahah. Was able to raise the reservoir and the water lines to maintain flow to all the pots. Rest of week was hands off as I had family in town for a few days so just kept the reservoir filled. Last day of the week gave the girls a decent defoliation and adjusted the ties, attempting to fill every spot in the tent. Now there is a slight space in the center, but it will fill in as the girls grow. Starting to get a little worried with how big these girls are getting. Already they are 8-10" bigger than the Night Howler autos I grew last year, and those were my biggest ever with two plants ending ABOVE the lights!! Hope the big one stops soon, but as a precaution I have removed the filter and placed on end of exhaust, gaining another 8" of room to raise the light. Driver also outside tent this run, so will gain 2" over previous ones. Plants are needing a bit more defoliation than normal, with their enormous leaves they fill the tent very quickly! Before defoliation was full shade under canopy, now getting light/air through. Let's see what happens this week, I'm expecting some decent growth from left two plants, hoping to get them off the Milk crates soon and nice to have an even canopy for more consistent bud quality and whatnot.
