Chopped and drying in the mess rack, will update in about two weeks, with dry weight and smoke/flavor/high profile. She was a great plant to grow and I'm excited to smoke this strain! Update June 18, amazing smoke and flavor! Dry weight came in at 45.5 grams, 44 on th scale as I removed 1.5g for the smoke test. Blue Dream is impressive, great color in the buds, nice high to go along with it!

Shake Back - Compound Genetics Week 3 of Bloom 🌸 She has finished her stretch and has grown incredibly well considering she's only in a 5L. She has been vigorously developing her flower and is working hard on bulking now. Her aroma has appeared too, a fresh green apple scent with a gassy undertone. The temperatures have been up and down over the last week or so, so I've added the AlgAMix into her feed to help the plant deal with the fluctuating.👌🏻 From today, all the girls will be moved into a 8x4 tent, because the 5x5 has been hard to manage. ✂️ I've lollipopped her again after she finished her stretch, removing all leaves stems and budsites below the top 6 nodes from the canopy - these lower branches won't develop into anything and will more than likely cause problems later down the line. I've also removed a couple of the larger fan leaves from her center, to improve airflow and light penetration 💪🏻 💧 Watered every three days with 3L of RO water, with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then finally, I pH'd the solution to 6.3. I've increased some of her nutrients and added the Alg-A-Mix as a precaution to any temperature fluctuating that might occur this time of year. End of Week 4 (for those following along at home) and there are trichomes everywhere! Both of these plants are putting out sugar like there is no tomorrow. Velvet Moon is smelling a lot like tropical punch drink (Holy Punch x Dosi Dos) and it’s delicious. The Black Apple has a much weaker smell which isn’t really defined for the nose yet. I stripped a few more side branches this week as things were tangling up as there was too much going on. Both look very happy and have plenty of air flowing through them now. BAH is slightly taller than VM. Both stretched approximately double their height and not much more. That may have been due to me topping the plants 3 days before flip to try and keep heights limited. It worked well as i am at the exact distance to the light i wanted to be for 100% power (50cm). BAH has has some stems go a pink/res colour but no other plant changes. It’s hot here due to summer so been running the girls at night and they sleep during the day. Looking forward to documenting the bud development over the next few weeks as these stack weight and start maturing. I think this will be a 10 week flower minimum.

Uped lights to 30000 lux today added some mosquito bits as a few fungus gnats have been flying around, should be topping Gelato #1 soon its been really shooting ahead.

Nun ist Gute ziemlich spack geworden, das dauert jetzt ein wenig bis sie sich erholt hat, danach schick ich sie auch gleich in die Blüte 😃 An Tag 50 habe ich nochmals geschnippelt und ein 2 Netz eingesetz. Jetzt habe ich die richtige Menge an Zweige. Nun dürfen die Zweige noch etwas länger werden bevor ich die Blüte einleite 😉

Ended up with 13.5 oz wet so I’m expecting 5-6 oz dry which would be awesome! I actually snapped the main stem during LST and I taped it back together, it healed and ended up being my biggest cola!

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiodic plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Slurricane is a lady with low internodal distance. This characteristic greatly influences the application of growing techniques. In this case it is a plant that responds to topping a little slower than the others and it is best to wait for the branches to grow to avoid damaging the little ones. However, we are at 4 florets and between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will cut 8. My plan for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always pay attention not to damage the new growing branches. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly in shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I am a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping, my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil at the start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. 01/08/18 - I fed them all 1 litre each, one of them seems to be praying up but the other two Seem a little bit droopy still. 02/08/18 - #3 is praying like usual and the other two are getting better Day by day I’m going to be giving them another feeding tomorrow, I have seen roots stretching out to the sides of the pots so I might saturate the whole pot. 04/08/18 - horrible sight today looks like rusty cracks in some leaves , not got a clue what this. 05/08/18 - browning has continued since last night and it’s all on the new leafs not the older ones. i fed them without any calmag , so I think it could be a deficiency of some sort (cal/mag).the mad thing is, it’s only two of the girls, one of them is completely fine nice green leaves not yellow marks that turn orange/brown. It definitely has nothing to do with my ph or all three girls would be showing some symptoms seeing as they all get fed with the same soloution.✌️🏻 07/08/18 - everything’s cleared up their was slight nute burn in the process but everything seems a lot better so I decided to start LST. all the new leaves are the colour they should be with no nute burns or calcium deficiency 🙏🏻
