Not a lot to report. Growth is slow as they must be in veg for another 7 weeks till they can go into the flower room. Defoliating as I see leaves blocking tops. Closely monitoring. PPMs are around 500-700. Rinsed the root base of both plants. Veg54, riego con 6.2 pH y EC 1.5, drenaje de 2.0 EC y pH 6.3, todo ok. Las plantas ya alcanzaron entre 25~30cm, en 2 días más comenzará la pre floración. Veg56, están casi de 30 centímetros de altura, último día de vegetación, mañana entrarán a pre floración, necesitan una defoliación.

Mandarin XL autoflower is growing great. She is really stalling on going into flowering, but it looks like she is gonna put her first pistils out at any moment. She started showing a big fluctuation in the ph. Which is also a sign I have noticed that she is shifting gears. She will get a solution change in the next few days. She looks super healthy on the Gen1:11 organo-mineral nutrition. I defoliated her and been keeping up on lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. Welcome growers Third week of life ended for this this little CREAM CARAMEL 🍬🍭🍫 She still growing in a growbox, 120x90 (cm) with nine other ladyes of different genetics 🌿🌿🌿 Looks pretty happy, great vigor and big leafs 🍁 Earlier in the week I transplanted into a 3l plastic pot.. Usually my choice of pot is the smartpot or the airpot 💯 And so, considering that the soil will obviously remain less aerated than usual, I have chosen to use a greater quantity of coco coir in the substrate I roughly prepared a mix of 50% light-mix (Canna professional and Biobizz), a 30% of coco coir (Atami), 10% worm-cast or humus (Atami) and around a 5% perlite wich it's already present in the light -mix.. I have also put a few micorizzae (Micosat F), like 10 grams, in direct contact with the roots and around 4 grams of Microlife (Bionova) in pellet form I will use this last one also for making an areated Tea, but during flowering.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Root-Juice (Biobizz) and Rizostimo (Biomagno) for the last time, plus a little bit of silicium (Bionova) and then Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) {This last two i have used in a foliar spray solution} Simply a little bit of everything at any watering 💧 About the lights 💡 I currently using for the first time, two Mars-Hydro SP3000, running at 25% of the power for now.. Next week im going to increase at least to 50% ⬆️ Onestly this lights looks pretty solid, definetly intense, with a spectrum really close ro the sun light One of the cool things about it it's that you can connected each one toghter with a cable and so you can controll the intensity of the lights very easy, in a precis way 👌 We will see in this months how they works And that's all.. Plants are growing healthy, actually did some low stress training on the two plans in potting soil and they are taking a liking to the conditions.

Still not touching the plant or setup and just letting it be pretty much. Did a full tank water removal and started to add some Calcium Magnesium as I'm seeing some deficiencies on the leafs. So far this setup has been incredibly easy, haven't had to do anything, no topping, no training, etc. Could have used a scrog to keep the main branch a bit shorter but it looks like it should work out.

Week 4 for Peyote Zkittlez by Seedsman, Really starting to pull her own in the tent, She bounced back from the topping really nicely, Will be topping her again sometime next week im sure. Loving her symmetry across the board 😇 Still not drinking that much water only getting fed maybe 2 times a week in her 5L pot. When i have a 25L pot available i will be transplanting her. But also waiting for her roots to grow a bit to show me shes ready to switch homes.

GROW 😛 Pruning is growing 😍 Only 3 plants remain small babies. 😵 No more defoliation On DAY 19 : The smallest plant is 47 cm. The largest plant is 112 cm. 😊 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- BLOOM 😍 ALERT : MALE FLOWERS 😥😪😭 on DAY 15 I noticed male flowers on the lowest node.. I removed the male balls manually (+/- 50). Probably a stress response to the strong pruning last week. In the following days I have not seen any new male flowers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WATER + HUMIDITY 😱 +/- 6 liter water / 24 hours / 16 plants / 4 pots Humidifier : +/- 7 liter water / 24 hours

Week 2

Had to trim a little early because of a last minute holiday but got her done .. 16 hours of it 🤦 .. Some massive long buds on them .. rather easy to trim because effort was put in before hand deleafing an tidying up Time will tel now 🤗😁

It’s been one hell of ride but I enjoyed every minute these are your babies and there like real kids I only let them listen to slow jams lol 😂

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible.
