July 5: Tropicana Cookies FF is very nicely symmetric and fast growing. She’s on schedule and doing great. One more week of veg and then I will start force flowering on July 11. July 7: grew 3+ inches in two days.Lower leaves showing a deficiency that seems to be a lack of phosphorus. Added a 1:1 mix of Power Bloom and barley as a top dressing. About a week early for first flowering nutes but she’s asking for it. July 10: still growing evenly after the final round of topping. I was going to start force flowering (12 h darkness every night for 20 days or so) in two days but I’ll let this wagon (paired with Lemon Cream Kush) veg for another week to get a bit bigger.

It’s not quite week 3 flowering, more so 2.5 wks. I had no choice but to remove a dozen of inner shoots because of how dense the canopy is. Should be it for defo until harvest. This weekend will mark 4 weeks since the last top dress so it’ll be a nice mix included in next wk update. I transplanted into bigger pots with a mix of glacial rock dust, 2-8-4, Kelp Meal.

Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Looking forward to the last stretch of the pre flower. Im going to add the last scrog in the next day or two. After the week of recovery Ill have a good idea on what Im keeping for the canopy. Will lollipop next Monday~ Ph 6.2 - 6.5 this week. Cut out everything but Micro and Bloom. Will feed this week and next for sure. Will continue feeding/flush depending on progress of trichomes.

This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉.
