Opium is maturing faster than the other 2 outside photo periods Fractal & Lemon Cake. Many of the feeder leaves are yellow and fall off at the slightest touch. The buds are dense and starting to be sticky. She is strong and resistant to our heat & humidity, and pests. Her tall lanky structure is true to a sativa. She had huge fan leaves and long internodal stretch. This strain would definately need topping or other high stress training to keep her short for a tent grow. Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Week 2 -All 3 plants look really healthy -light is dimmed to 40w -the Mimosa x caught up and is now also looking good -very happy with the growth this week -humidity dropped to about 65% because the vent is now running 24/7 -you can already smell a bit wich surprised me ;) will probably give it another week and then start 12/12 or what do you think? Happy for any comment! :)

Started LST this week on the 2 big girls. I’ll give the little the younger one a little bit more time before I start LST with her. They are all growing nice. Plenty of flower sites and responding to LST well. I love the ease of pre-mixing Giaia Green’s nutrients straight into your soil for a “Just add water” grow.

Clones got transplanted into 1gal Rapid Stack pots, this will facilitate the next transplant into the live soil grow bed with no stress. Quick and easy transplanting with no root shock or damage to the plant. A bit leafy in the buds 📍 Plant #2 (140cm) a slightly smaller plant. The modest sister of Plant #1. Less leafy in the buds 📍 Plant #3 (139cm) also a slightly smaller plant, but a different phenotype as Plant #1 and #2. Many trichomes and therefore a white appearance Open plant, almost no leafs in the buds. Maybe more flavorful than numbers 1 and 2, or a higher-head sativa effect. Hello friends, I planted this plant as an experiment as you can see but today in day 17 from seed i decided to share this growth here coz it surprised me with the so far growth. Sorry for lacking photos from week 1 but i didnt take pictures.. she is under the sun whole day and 4 hours 250w HPS... and as you can see some leaves curled in coz she is too young for 250W hps 25 cm from her.. So far I foliar fed her and regularly watered, dilluted 2ml/L of B-52, 2 ml/L fitobacillus (essential bacterias and enzymes) and foliar sprayed her. With every watering so far i put 2ml/l fitobacillus and 2ml/ B-52 and mycorhizae in the very first and second watering. As you can see her main stem is already fatter than average for that time of growth and the root mass is so dense and thick, also many many hairs ready to absorb some nutes so tmrw will be her first nutes dosage, day 18 that will be from seed. I am hoping only that the pot size will not restrict her growth, as the roots already reached the bottom and started to curl back in.. but their colour is bright white and i have no worries bout rot or similar, at least so far so good :D Stay tuned brothers and sisters, all my grows are for you in order to learn ultra fast all the interesting and mind intriguing stuff by following only one grower. @James drop an eye here, you did a good job with genetics on this one.. Today i applied some more lst to maximally expose side branches to the sun. You will see some interesting pics and vids explaining my low stress training technique. I blv this plant's main goal in life to be LST'd. Dont be afraid, side branches will be thankfull and your harvest will be thankfull.. You can se some lst with side branches and how i tucked the leaves and made sure they stay there using the green wire and forming that shape on the pic. Today i also noticed a white hair showing up, still not sure if it is starting to flower in her DAY 19 from seed, or is it just "stress defending mechanism". Seems to me i will find out soon :)

Que pasa familia, vamos con la séptima y última semana de floración de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Por el momento todo va bien tienen buen color, van madurando esas flores. Llevan solo agua toda la semana. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2 y riego en intervalos de 48h. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 50%. La verdad para ser autos es que me han hasta sorprendido , buena estructura, resistentes , fáciles, huelen fuerte y están llenas de resina. Qué más puedo pedir? Mid week is day 21 of flower. I'll do one more leaf strip in the next few days and then I should be done screwing around in the tent with these ladies. I'm extremely happy with how the canopy filled out. Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cull 3 of my 8 and that left a void. The last leaf strip is done. I also removed the trellis netting. I am unsure if this was a good idea or not. As far as I figure, My canopy did fill the 5'x5' but it doesn't any more. Now that the scrog net is down everything "stood tall". The reason I removed it is so I could make sure that 1. I could strip everything that I wanted/needed to before everything turns woody and fragile. 2. get to my plants to make sure that no Male flowers surfaced. I did consider putting it back in but then I though of harvest time, what if one in the back is ready before the one in the front, that is gonna suck to pull out. So I left the net out. My hypothesis is that as the buds start to gain weight, the weight will get the branches to come down and spread out again. If the weight seems like it may break limbs, at that point I will apply the scrog net as more of a trellis net that will be easily removed. It's weird, two nights ago I was dreaming that I was in a panic looking for plant yoyo's. I was dreaming that my kolas were so huge that they were snapping. LOL Hopefully it wasn't a dream and it was more of a vision. I have still been feeding by my pH range. I still haven't had to use any pH up or down in the last 18 days. I have noticed that flower isn't as forgiving as veg cycle. I do have one strain that is showing leaf tip burn so I have decided drop my EC enough to let my pH rise a bit more quickly. In the flower cycle the plants seem to be more finicky with their uptake. If It's too strong they leaf tip burn within a couple of days so if you need to make changes you can't tip toe like in veg. You need to aggressively get back into range because the plant isn't going to wait for you. It's clock is ticking and it's going with or without you. After my recent leaf strip, my humidity has been lower than ideal so I will probably be putting a humidifier in shortly. I have been using the dimmer to dim my lights to 75% but I would rather have them at 100. I am looking forward to what the next 5 weeks bring so I hope you all stay with to see how this turns out. Fucking chem og how resilient is she, for sure, she's a fighter, came back as determined as ever to pack it in some more, she didnt mind the dark, was a bit scared about the mold, so far no signs of it so let's all make a prayer for chem og, hope the taste is what i enjoy kinda fun flying blind ... but even a blind person would notice what an indica this is 😅 last week of smart proteins no nutrients added yet, just plain water and one point four bricks of shitting in my pants what a shake down my leg ! I'm smoking Dr. Grinspoon rn, and i've listened all i can to cypress hill's dr. green thumb and they say "I never grow at my home" but what they dont say is all about the rest of it lol abricots? peaches ? 🚀 dropped her down to 10/14 so she's got plenty of time for resin production now she's a stinker smells like citrus and indica, or more like indica citrus, does that make sense ? 👊
