Week of fade 😎 Entering the last couple weeks of their lifecycle they’re fading, getting colorful and fat! Smell is insane, keeping temps low now to preserve terpenes and reduce salt build up due to high vpd. Checking trichomes every 2-3 days, aiming for 10-20% amber for my harvest. Stay tuned!

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Dark Devil by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Red Poison and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Dark Devil perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. Slowly but surely she is fattening up and is turning yellow with splashes of red/pink, leds were a little too low or hps at the beginning of flowering damaged her fan leafs... Next time I will know better which is the cause. Smallish buds but those are coated with trichomes, sugar leafs too. Going to make some cannabutter! I think 1 or 2 more weeks before harvest depending how she looks, I want her Calyxes to mature fully before chopping her!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week i started to let them sleep outside inside a small greenhouse. The sun has been shining most of the days and the ladies have been praying alot. With two cloudy days, i cant complain. Although they seem smaller then they would be indoors, i like what i see. From now on im gonna feed Biobizz fishmix and bio heaven.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 10?? Looks like WG still has a few weeks left on her. GC on the other hand... is technically already dead to me, I've properly mourned her loss. Just need to keep her out of the way (and alive). Day 63- my TDS meter was accurate the whole time.. had to dial it back up.. I'm an idiot.. but these girls have been rocking out at over a thousand for weeks now and not really showing signs of burn. Few tips here and there. Crank the P/K up in this week's feed. RES change tonight. Modified GHE late bloom aggressive feed. TAP water so there's no added N from the calmag needed with RO. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm Micro- 33mL Grow- 35.5mL Bloom- 50mL RES totals after ph corrections 1070@5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 64- GC seems to have blown up since yesterdays stabbing.. i took a vid, which ended up being a little too long. didnt want to wait for it to upload so i canceled. may clip the part where i went psycho on GC main and upload later. she may get stabbed a few more times before this is all over. thinking about drilling a hole or two in WG within the last few days, and the 48hr dark before chop chop. (when the time comes of course) ============================================================================================= Day 65- I don't think I ever disclosed my tent is in a closet... vid tonight shows it. Also shows how much head space I have above it for a TALLER tent.. a 4x4x80 would fit this current space REAL nice.. could make em taller as well. One thing I need to think over before the next run. I did cut GC back some tonight. Was creating a shadow on WG, and I didn't want it smacking in the fan again. That got annoying quick the other night while trying to sleep. WG still fattening up. Top offs have been with bubbled/aged TAP. Brown spots on a few random leaves here and there. Checked tricomes tonight and were like 90% cloudy 10% clear. Hope they start to amber up within the next week. Haven't hit the A/C yet, and Temps are reaching 86! I can say that I have noticed less of an odor when opening the tent. Sorry I have not updated in some time. A lot of the missed time was me recovering from hand surgery. In this time, I was not able to move plant and tend to them. Then, at the start of the new year, GD was acting horrible. It would allow some updates and then reject others. Luckily it was still allowing harvest updates. The flower has a strawberry berry smell. Strawberry flower is my favorite. It is super frosty, and smells delicious. I did lose half of the canopy during flowering. As it was too close to the fan. Causing it to l wind burned a lot and ate away at the plant as it grew. She did alright for what I could do 1 handed. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

23rd of July - Attempting to let the soil get “dry”. See what Mother N has to say about that. Day 3 w/no rain ! The Soil is still very moist - Last fed on the 20th - Foliar Spray in the a.m. just to tease - boy does the audio sound bad on the phones Video !! Kinda historic, sorryboutthat 24th, - added some Epsom Salts to todays feed, magnesium and sulfate for the Soil. GOOD READING AVAILABLE... - went ahead and fed on day 5, iffy weather all around. GO - only 2 gallons used 25th, - killer day finally after more rain lst nite - re-positioned two questionable side-branches, down low and in front. Whole plant is open. Not a leaf to remove. Anybody thats done this style of grow, let me know if theres a hole in the program. *** smoked some of the Beaver Seeds; Maui Wowie Autoflower that I recently grew, you know, while tending the plant today… well laugh at the fact that the 15% thc of the famous dope truly kicks Butt; seriously good weed - “next” Meal posted above, beginning the transition to bloom nutrients ! - activity at the Bud-sites is picking-up 26th, - amended the plant base w/ 2 cups of liquid phish-poop lol - next proper meal posted above ~eta 30th or 31st - anxious to get the Bloom nutes in & running 29th - big, long, burp, after sliding 3 gallons of “transition-food” into Jack - Meal is posted above with no Molasses today; TDS 1400ppm - started a MONTHLY inclusion of dissolved Epsom Salts. I will be including it in Foliar applications as well, w/ Fulvic Acid.

She’s been looking great just moving very slow been flowering for a while but I forgot I transplanted her a while back so she’s gaining speed! Smell is interesting only present when ruffled..exciting to see her Finish

Growing and flowering

Week 1, let the games begin!!!!!!!! Questions: Are there too many tops? It a 2x4 tent. I don't want to get popcorn buds. If i cut some of the tops now, will the plant put more energy into growing larger buds? Is it too late to decrease tops after flowering begins? Or should I do it after the stretch? Thanks.

Some of my finished and flowering plants included in pictures, found a small amount of slider mites in my veg tent , as you can see I'm managing it , one more week in the veg tent before I flip them all, I also decided to start one in flower before the rest as I want to stagger my harvest and get back into perpetual growing, Hope you're having a good day everyone 😁
