Day 8 - very healthy sprout a. the roots are already into the pool, forming ladder roots b. I changed the DWC out, always from top watering you will get some gunk in there from the root riot/hydro rock dust, tends to build up on the roots, it never hurts anything, however it couldnt be good for the nutrient absorption. c. water source is mountain water, 130ppm from spring. d. TS1000 is at 100% intensity at 75cm away from the top, they love this day 9 - growing fast a. she is growing fast, and the roots are developing nicely b. keeping the ph 5.8-6 Day 10 - looking very nice a. this seedling is very healthy, strong Day 11 - growing fast a. this is a very fast plant, having to keep knocking the PH down Day 12 - growing very well a. had to move her to the corner of the tent to make way for my Afghan kush plant, it got too cold out in our barn for the Afghan kush b. the seedling is growing very well, she still gets a good amount of light Day 13 - growing well a. she appears to be growing fine despite her tent mate b. will be nice to move the Afghan out of here next week when it is supposed to get warmer Day 14 - nice environment a. the Afghan Kush and the Big Bud are friends now, lol b. all is growing well here c. video of our friendly environment

Light hits with around 850 - 900 PPFD. Terpwise its developing from that fruity smell to a real ripe Gelato Mint with fruits smell. I like it very much so far. Watering every 2 days.

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

Had budrot on one plant due to thunderstorms every day last week. Took that plant out last week. Also took the main colas as a preventative measure. Left all the smaller buds. Now I took the one plant which I believe is cheese, I actually grew 2 cheese, 2 gorilla girl and 2 white widow seeds and ended up with these 4 plants.... the one I harvest looks like it's been ready to harvest for some time now.

Quick flipping this week! All systems go 🚀!! Did some LST to spread out canopy. One of my Yacht Party clones wants to be a runt but I’m sure this will change after 1st week flower, otherwise everything else is growing uniformly! Lookin forward to changing the schedule after our last cold snap passes in my area.

Cosmic Noodles — Week 5 from Seed Transition Week · Pre-Flower Expression · Two Approaches, One Room Hello everyone, and welcome to a big Week 5 update 🌱 This one is photo-heavy and detail-heavy, so thank you for bearing with us, there’s a lot happening, and we wanted to document it properly. This week marks what we consider a transition / pre-flower week, where hormonal shifts are clearly visible, structure is defining itself, and flowering intent is becoming obvious, especially on one of the plants. ⸻ 🌱 Quick recap for anyone just joining • Two autoflowers, same genetics, same room, same environment • Different early light histories: • One plant received an initial ~15 days under 18/6, then switched to 12/12 • One plant has been 12/12 from seed • Both are now growing side by side under 12/12 • No topping, no cutting, no high-stress training → Only low-stress techniques This run intentionally goes against many traditional autoflower “rules”, and that’s part of the learning process. ⸻ 🌿 Two Low-Stress Training Approaches (No Cuts, No Stress) 🔧 Plant with initial 18/6 period — Clamp-based LST This plant is responding extremely well to structural opening using metal clamps. • Clamps were used early to open the structure horizontally • Most clamps are now hidden under leaf mass, which is exactly what we want • Branching is strong, symmetrical, and well distributed • The plant currently looks like a round, open bush / ball • Internodes are stacking nicely, with great airflow She is not very tall yet, but that’s intentional — she has been pushed outward first. Now that structure is set, we expect vertical growth to accelerate. By the end of the week, she is clearly more advanced in pre-flower, with visible pistils and early flower formation. ⚠️ Important reminder: This plant also has ~15 days more life than her sister, which absolutely plays a role in developmental timing. ⸻ 🍃 Plant 12/12 from seed — Leaf bending & gentle tucking The second plant is trained exclusively through: • Leaf bending • Leaf tucking • Gentle redirection No clamps, no anchors — just guiding light access. She is: • Much taller (around ~30 cm by eye) • Roughly double the size vertically • Growing very fast, with all branches reaching upward • Open, dynamic, and beautifully balanced Her architecture suggests: • A strong root system still building • Rapid vertical expression • A plant preparing itself confidently for flowering She is slightly behind in visible flower development, which is expected given her age, but she is clearly transitioning. ⸻ 🌸 Flower Development & Pistils (White Hairs) On the plant that had the initial 18/6 period, we are seeing many pistils already. These white hairs: • Are the female reproductive organs • Indicate readiness to receive pollen (even though none will) • Signal the onset of flowering The 12/12-from-seed plant will show the same soon — just slightly later, which aligns perfectly with: • Her age • Her different early light history Nothing abnormal here — just biology doing biology. ⸻ 🌿 Leaves, Color & Genetics Both plants are showing: • Deep, lush green • Beautiful leaf texture and definition • No signs of deficiency or stress This is likely a combination of: • Strong genetics • Balanced nutrition • Correct environment • Gentle handling It’s honestly a privilege to watch them grow like this. ⸻ 💧 Watering, Nutrition & Why CalMag Comes In Now Hand-watered plants (the two we’re discussing): • Water: rainwater + dehumidifier-collected water • Very low mineral content → requires supplementation • This week we introduced CalMag Pro at 1 ml/L Why now? • Rapid growth + pre-flower = higher demand for Ca & Mg • Prevents: • Leaf issues • Structural weakness • Uptake problems later in flower Current hand-watering parameters: • pH: 5.9 • EC: 1.43 • Nutrition increased because plants are asking for it ⸻ Autopots (other plants in the room): • Mineral-only approach • Organics don’t work well in autopots • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.1 Different systems → different recipes → same goal: healthy plants. This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨

Talk about a mission accomplished, dam you Lamby… you had me excited at one point when I thought you were an auto, but to my shock, you are a regular, you just have a long ass flowering window… at least unlike her sisters within the 4th cycle, she did not reveg she just focused on flower, the buds are bulky and firm, scent is amazing, you would mistake her for a cheese strain. I should not be disappointed by the plant’s size! Because I planted her during winter, and all outdoor or greenhouse(unless you have a GH that is climate controlled), do not grow as big as the would during spring or summer season, and due to this factor, I only got 59g of wet bud. But I have faith the other ladies will produce a higher yields. Last I smoke this strain was earlier late summer or early Autumn, and from smoking to growing now harvest, I wish I am blown out the water with this strain, it’s time to conduct that questionnaire. Or even better go to an established cannabis club, and get them to samples bud, and ask for a review.
