19.08.2024 officially D140... the additionnal week, have been benefict to this fat lady. as i can see some ambering trichrome on the remaining cola. so far so good she get is second harvest. the 3rd and final harvest should be in 1 or two week, as i will need space in the tent for the camperberry clone, and will give the time to the leftover small and unripped nugget to finish their job. the 1st harvest is dried a d have been trim for total weight of 121.5g. it already smell more fuity that its little sister, it have been put in a growbag for a nice curring. the 2nd harvest give 1454.6 g of wet sticky bud expecting 180g of dried flower as they are more leaffy and have more stem comparing to the 1st harvest. the 3/4 pound is still in sight.

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

Day 70 - 2cm taller this week. Flowering stretch all but finished. Flowers are forming fast. The pungent smell is not too strong at this moment.

I added 3ml of PH- until I reached 5,8 and then added 15 ml of GHE Flora Kleen. The new res will run for 48h. I also eliminated all leaves burned or dry. So the new res is: EC: 0,45 PH: 5,8 crossing fingers

Welcome again 🙂          Finally, after about 40 days, I am ready to post the real harwest of these two spectacular Cookies Kush🍪🌱..                                                     It is a wise cross between the famous GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (known today as GSC) × a very powerful phenotype by OG Kush,named ROLLEX OG KUSH..        Cup winner🏆                  I have already posted the harwest of another CK grown with the same organic fertilizers, but in a smaller pot, about 7l geotexil..      I divided the diaries because initially I had planned to grow them differently one from the other..    In the end, however, the only difference lies in the pot, 20l geotextile for these two..   I already say that I have very little negative for this strain..    Its vigor and its resistance are impressive..      Added to the fact that it is a type of plant relatively simple to follow and in addition with a final yield in terms of both quantity and above all qualitative, I can only recommend it to everyone..    If you love Kush it is definitely a must try👌..   But let's get to the facts..    I reported weekly with precision everything that happened, therefore I invite those who want to learn more about going to review the various weeks🤗..   Unfortunately I have not posted the first because I was on vacation by the sea, discovering the best cannabis clubs on the Canary Islands😎🌊..   The first three weeks have grown inside a classic plastic pot for just over 1l..   Later I transplanted them into another plastic pot of about 4l.. Shortly after the second transplant, some very "nice" thrips decided to break the balls🧐..   I had never seen so many together and the situation in few days was going out of control..   I'm always reluctant in the using   of products to combat insects or pest , but this time I was forced to use neem oil mixed with about 1/5 of potassium soap..     Apart from some survivors the thrips disappeared, at a high price though.. The plants in only 36 hours after the treatment they had a phytotoxic reaction to neem oil.. The leaves seemed to be bitten by animals, not earthworms or the like🦌🐛🐌..      After a few hours, the situation was getting worse.. I found myself unprepared for what was happening..   But I thought the best solution was to remain calm and understand how to best cope with the situation🧘‍♂️..    I think I have prayed an indefinite number of times to try to resolve the situation⛪🕌🕍🕋🙏.. After a few days the symptoms of intoxication seemed to have subsided..   The two girls still continued their growth process🌿..      After a couple of weeks I took them to their accommodation final, a 20l geotextile pot..    As a base substrate I used a mix composed largely of light-mix of biobizz + coconut always from the biobizz and in addition a little humus to improve the characteristics of the soil..     In the soil it was already present in good quantity also perlite..                                                            Once I created the hole in the ground, I placed mycorrhizas (MICOSAT F) directly in contact with the roots.. Theoretically I carry out an action in about five weeks..  Shortly after the transplant I gave by leaf , using a pump sprayer, a little bit of fish emulsion (Fish-mix + Acti-vera of biobizz)..   And the girls appreciated a lot by continuing to grow and produce foliage vigorously..   Unlike their sister minor, given the large amount of vegetation, I felt the need to defoliate a bit.. I must say that this strain responds very well to this practice👍👍..  Seeing the vigor of growth I decided to also make a topping on both..   Also in this case the genetics of these plants has demonstrated its strength by continuing to grow as if nothing f bones..                                   I was doing a little lst but very roughly, almost for fun..   The final result, once in bloom, was fantastic😍..    Fragrant and tasty buds at the head of each branch..                    As you can see in the photos over the various weeks, the phenotypes emerged were two..                              One low and with light green colored leaves with a good production of resinous buds..                                                  The second one has practically tripled its height🌳                                                      The leaves in mid-bloom have started to be tinged with a truly spectacular red-violet color..  Full of buds entirely on the branches,like mostly  Sativa strain..                                                               An incredible resin production and very dense and super fragrant flowers.. Compared to the Cookies in the 7l pot, neither of them had an evidently mint scent.. But then I was happily surprised to find it in the flavor, especially in the purple-red phenotypes..  The structure of the buds is another of the things that have me and make me fall in love with this strain..   A true work of art🎨🌿🙌..                                            Thanks Barney's🙏..    The amount of trichomes and the aroma is truly exceptional🔝               The final weight of the flowers is divided as follows..                 40g for the purple-red phenotype 21g for the lower one                                                                           The total weight calculation was done after about 40 days of care, with the flowers cleaned in the best possible way, therefore without leaves or parts of the stem..   Also I did not take into consideration the popcorn buds, which I will probably use to make edibles.. As a growth light I used a 205w LED panel of the Black-dog brand, apart from two weeks in the vegetative phase where they were always illuminated by LEDs but of another type, much less powerful and efficient, but which however they did their job..   Speaking of nutrients..  This time I used the greenhouse biobloom powder (70g equally divided between the two of them and the younger sister in the "Cookies on the Kush" diary) for the flowering phase + biobizz biobloom about twice +bio heaven twice + biomagno biomass twice + unsulphured molasses + banana macerate made by me, a couple of times topmax from biobizz and finally at the beginning and halfway through flowering I always gave them an enchancer of green house..   Growing organic and having a water pH always between 6.5 and 7 , 5, I never bothered to check / regulate it.. And everything went well👌..   Towards the end of flowering, especially the larger of the two, it suffered a little overwatering, but nothing to worry about..                                                                              Despite being different phenotypes, I still gave them the exact same quantities of water and fertilizer..  About taste and effect..  The flowers of both had more or less the same aroma, sweet, slightly earthy with some notes of mint in the distance..    Personally my favorite is the one with the violet-red leaves and I think it is the best phenotype of all three, also considering the one in the other diary..  The amount of resin is more or less similar,also the tate too.. The first test was carried out using two vaporizers (mighty and ghost mv1)..  With both I was on temperatures between 180 ° and 195/200 °..  Later, as you can see in the video, I also carried out a test in smoke. Obviously only grass from top to bottom, about 0.7 / 0.8 in a joint..   Organic papers and filter, without glue😉👍..  After drying for 7 days with a whole plant, two days on a branch by branch net, two further days in brown paper bags , and a careful care of about three weeks the flowers, remained hermetically closed for another 20 days in the jar, were perfectly soft and crunchy, going to burn to perfection leaving on the palate a delicate flavor and a velvety smoke both incoming and outgoing.. I think strongly that this is the most important phase where the skill and attention to detail of the grower comes to light😊..   I personally think If the strain is from a competent and serious seed bank, the cultivation phase should simply be a help to grow on the part of the grower..   Once the plant has been cut, it all depends on us..  Patience and constant attention are the two key points🗝️👃👁️..  Going back to the flowers💐.. Going too far on the flavor and effect I think it leaves a little time because it is two very subjective factors..   Honestly, to say that it tastes like real cookies no I can't really🍪🤔..    But one thing is certainly☝️.. The taste is exceptional🤩😍..   Sweet and spicy with earthy notes and something else that I don't recognize..  Kush certainly as a base, but very complex..             Predominantly relaxing effect..   It acts on the body relieving tension, perhaps for someone it can be too relaxing💆‍♂️😴..                                              "I'm a kush guy", and I love what they give💚..    I would use it safely at any time of day, but it is very suitable for the second half of the afternoon onwards.. The joint are only weed, raw organic papers and filters, without glue 😉👌.. At both ends I used the low and light green pheno.. Centrally the red-purple pheno.. The three joints were ignited once and continued to burn evenly until the end.. Halfway through I decided to smoke one alone (the middle one) and the other two together.. Well the middle one (pheno violet) was the tastiest one😋.. In the photos you can also see how much oil is present around the base of the hottest point.. Kush effect, very relaxing, but not necessarily that you can't do anything anymore.. Very mental relaxation.. Top Kush🏆.. These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower Nice progress with these ladies, I honestly did expect them to stretch this much. They were pretty heavy on leaves so I did a bit of cleaning of big fan leaves and bottom useless growth.. I admit, went a bit too far with one of them. Should've left a few more fan leaves behind.. 😪😓 Other than that, things are looking good. Bud sites are more visible, sure hope they keep growing out. Stopped adding grow nutrients, only bloom now. week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.
