Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. Noticed some yellow/lime green sugar leaves at the top of the two tallest buds on the Gorilla Cookies along with some dark and light spots. Could it be light or wind burn? Hope it's not something more! I raised the lights a few days ago after spotting some whitening and curling at the tips, could it be something coming on after that? That issue aside the weeks gone well, the buds are still packing and getting more and more crystals throughout. Humidity started creeping up at the end of the week, a spell of wet weather and feeds going up to 1 litre being the causes. The little dehumidifier I have does remove some moisture but I was seeing it well over 55% more often than I would have like as so had bought four 2 litre paint kettles and, having drilled holes in the bottom of two of them and housed them inside an unholed one each, filled the top to the brim with rock salt to hopefully drop me back towards 50%🤞 Think it's time to start flushing through the SB and may do the same with the GC, she's a tad further back but hoping for a strong finish

11/30: I fed them today and supercropped the taller one a little bit. Just trying to encourage her lowers to compete for apical dominance. I raised the lights another few inches 12/1: I raised the lights about a foot because of a couple of taller plants, so these girls and most of the others are on a platform so as to be within 15 inches of the lights. Their platforms are some of the shortest, and I think they're about to catch up with the others.👍 12/2: Busy with life...didn't do much. Very cold days, so the high temp in the closet was 72f today👈 12/4: Switched to 13/11....afraid of it taking too long to flower and ending up with a bunch of pain in the ass 5-footers..

I decided to mainline my plants this week. I've never done HST, but I felt confident and I'm extremely happy with the results. I also gave each plant a litre of Multifeed because I noticed some leaf necrosis and yellowing which I believe is a bit of nutrient deficiency.

Fast version A is doing good. She is getting too big if anything. I topped her tops again to help stop her reaching up taller. I am waiting on my photoperiods that are flowering to finish so I can move these plants to that room. Everything else is going good. Got back on Day 42. Two are definitely in the flower stage. I was out of the country for 10 days for work. 😐 The self-watering system with water and BioBizz nutrients made it into the the plant. The reservoirs were almost completely empty after 10 days with 3L of water/nutrient in each. When I opened the tent, it was starting to smell and all of the plants had grown quite a bit while I was gone. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WORKED!! I mean, I can. I was just nervous being gone for so long with no one checking on them. I'm going to keep the self-watering system in place. And I bought a better camera. I think this self-watering system will help me not over water so much. Also, since it's starting to smell, it's probably best not to open the tent too much. And yes, I have another work trip in two weeks. To another country. 😩 But I'll have a trusted friend coming by to check on things.

Im a little late on the update this week pictures are still dated tho. I started the mills line this week after flushing and did a bit more lst work on the plant even ended up cloning her a few times just for the fun of it and to help with the canopy. I really like this strain and have been having a lot of fun growing it so having a couple more around is fine by me. I can't wait to see how she produces!!!(especially once I start using the vitalize nutrient solution.)

Gorilla Glue has gotten a slow start so far compared to others I have germinated. I cleared the membrane that was still on the leaves before picture ls today. Yesterday she did not look great. I stuck another seed near by. If it sprouts, then I will move it to another potter. I will leave the dome on till likely tomorrow morning. She should open up, and be good to go by then. Looks like everything is starting to look good. Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

I started doing LST by the end of week 3. I think it was a bit too late, since the plant was already tall.

Day 7 of flowering: Now we are moving. The Mimosa lemon is getting her groove on without doubt. She has taken to the l.s.t training perfectly now andnher many tips are all in a good position for the stretching period now. She has a lot of really vibrant looking budlets forming on each tip now and providing I can keep them where they are as they try to go vertical, it should lead to a good stem filled structure of long colas. Below decks is looking nice and healthy too with some airflow already . If I can keep them in good light and air then I will avoid the defoliation with this happy girl. So far they have still only had water as feed and there is no sign of any hunger or deficiency to concern me. I am very impressed with this strain and as a Christmas bonus to the purchase too. 16 seeds of it free. So far a great grower. The fact she is so well laid out also gives me hope of a good yield. Being a 9 week flowering hybrid of Auto Tangie and Purple punch , we have 8 more weeks to get her to show her beauty and produce that cocktail of citrus and berries. Working her to this point has been very simple and she has met the l.s.t challenges without trying. A very easy to grow and work with strain so far. Glueberry is looking very odd at present. She isnt looking overfed or deficient but something is amiss. She is in flower but still very bunched up looking with a few curled tips to the fan leaves. She isn't stretching out like the Lemon has at all and looks like she doesn't like something. !. I am holding back on her waterings for the next few feeds to see if she is too damp maybe. I am not too worried about her yet but I am also moving her to a better lighting position to hopefully help her get stretching out properly. So there we have it growmies. Both doing OK and hopefully a lot bigger for the next update. be safe and well.
