I fucked up drying. Room RH is 80% plus but I had fans running.. usually, locally, I cant get my dries to go longer than 3 - 5 days.. been drying for 5 days but with the humidity being at 80% - 85% inside the lung room and tent she hasnt even began to dry. Plus, I havent been able to trim her up yet.. just been jiggling the jar around a few times a day and keeping the jar open, inside the tent with an exhaust fan running and another usb fan moving air.. but not blowing on the buds at all.. but around the jar.. so nervous to get mold!!! Drying still.. but day 3 in jar.. She is still way too wet to be jarred. I have just been shaking the jar around like 4 times a day MINIMUM and keep the jar in he tent with air flow.. humidity is still being a butthead.. but easing up a bit.. down to 70%-ish.. when I do seal the jars, it still reads a little over 70%.. I will keep doing this until I get to about 65% or possibly even as high as 68%.. as long as I keep up the burping.. but so far, I just leave the lid open and keep it in the tent with a couple fans running.. no mold, so she should be good.. still gonna keep flipping the buds a few times a day.. this is going to be some DANK! already tried a few nugs.. still alot of chlorophyll, but she is slowly getting to the cure zone!!! Drying day 14.. Finally got the jar down to 65% RH.. that took alot of rolling the jar (to move buds around).. at least 4 - 5 times daily for this entire time I trimmed the buds and put them into the jar waaaay too early.. no mold tho.. and the buds dont tear apart anymore. They should start to crumble (kinda) in the next 2 - 4 weeks.. but going to see how things (including weather) are going to go if I only burp once or twice daily. I kinda want to bring the RH down a bit still.. like 62% 🤔 ah shit, I'm so indecisive lol.. probably leave it at 65% for a couple days and then try to get it down to 63% or 62%.. but once I see 59 or 58%.. it should still be good, but I get worried because I have overdried MANY harvests.. just trying to get things dialed in with drying and curing still.. even 4 years into this stuff! Lol.. but I'm getting a better hang of it.. kinda using my own methods mixed with what I find online.. just hard to judge when the plant is ready by snapping stems.. ive waited till the smallest stem I could find was making the "snap" noise.. but when I did that, the RH in the jars was only at 55% and lower.. the taste and smell were completely gone halfway thru the cure.. ive read that anywhere from 55% to as high as 70% RH is good.. but even at 70% I still have wetness issues.. buds and stems tearing.. still tastes like pure chlorophyll.. but since I've been kinda getting my dries dialed in, so I try to UNDER DRY to get buds to about 70% (that's in jars, not room). I really feel like this doesnt get explained enough in forums and online.. they tend to leave out some very important details.. like what to do when you overdry or underdry your flower.. if its too low, its trash. A 62% boveda and/or integra boost humidity packs can only do so much.. they have helped me, but only if the jars are still above 55% RH.. anything lower has completely removed terps within 2 weeks or so.. but yeah. In 4 years of trial and error (and yeah, forums and other grow diaires), I have found that it is better to UNDERDRY and either burp the jars MULTIPLE times a day (at least 4 - 5) or take them back out and let them dry for another 8 - 12.. maybe 16 or even 24 hours.. depending out how wet the flower still is and the drying area. Anyways.. im stoned and just finger fucking my keyboard here.. but this is very useful info that I have found works for me.. if people dont agree, hey thats cool too.. then these are just notes for myself later 😋 OK, I'm done now.. will keep updating as I go! About 5 days into curing... Got the jar down to 62% - 63% RH so I can stop burping so much.. maybe a short burp twice daily for a week then slow it down to once a day and eventually just stop burping. Been keeping my hand out of the cookie jar for the last... 2 maybe 3 days. I'm going to try and only test a nug once a week to get a feel for how quick its curing and how much better the taste is from the previous week. Did this last grow and each week was a huge difference.. even at week 6! But she was more than ready at week 4!.. not sure how some can cure in 2 weeks unless you get it really dry.. which makes me nervous cuz at 55% RH, I've had horrible results. Trashed the whole remaining harvest.. this is why I like to try and keep the RH a little on the higher side (68% or 65% or so and slowly bring it down to 62% or 63%.. also called the "pre-cure" phase) but I want this harvest to hover around 62% for as long as possible because 62% seems to be the magical sweet spot when you leave them there for the entire 4 weeks.. just my experiences.. Buds aren't very dense, but I'm pretty sure thats due to harvesting a week or 2 too early 😢.. and leaving her in te dark for another 5 days or so before harvesting.. oh the horror she endured toward the end of her life.. she was a fighter tho.. no mold.. in ANY of these super high RH weeks she went thru during the most vulnerable parts! Harvsting, drying and pre-curing.. but not 1 speck of mold 😁 About 10 days into curing.. Yeah I wish I could have let her go another week or 2.. yield was defintely hurt.. quality could be better.. but it will do for now.. live and learn.. I seem to say that every grow 🤣 but still a nice, decent stoney, still pretty decent tasting smoke.. going to just do some small, short burps for the next week or 2. Want the RH to still come down a little.. but if not, meh. The RH (outside and indoors) has been high again.. but luckily I was able to get the RH in the jar down to 62% - 63% RH.. i just burp the jar for a few seconds.. remove the hygrometers and flip the buds.. then put the hygrometers back in, clos up the jar and let it sit till the next day. RH is so high in the room that it raises the RH in the jar a little. But they always go back down to 62% - 63% RH.. good deal. Waiting for a dry day to burp outside for a few minutes. Need to invest in a powerful dehumidifer.. ugh.. Somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks of curing... Yeah definately shows that I harvested early. Still an ok smoke. Could have been fatter.. could have been tastier.. definitely NOT Ethos fault. Kicking myself for not letting her go 1 - 2 more weeks. Wasnt by choice tho.. life happened and she had to be chopped. Just ready for a little warmth and I will begin the next run!!!

| 📅 Week 7 | Days 43 - 49 | 💡 750w 📏36' | | ☔ 23%-34% | | 🌡️️🌞 74 - 81 | | 🌡️️🌑 66 - 74 | 12/21 I did a reservoir swap with the fresh nutrient levels as planned! Without PH testing fluid I had to adjust the tap+nutrients by memory, but i'm fairly accurate and only off the target(5.8) by .2 most of the time. 12/22 Did another reservoir swap again this time unplanned, because i'm still unable to PH until tomorrow. The things we do for dank buds lol! Adjusted some of the Low stress training a little more severe LST to prepare for a late 'SCROG' i'm putting in tomorrow. 12/23 A late 'SCROG' was applied to the plants today to make the lateral dormant buds grow vertical as best as possible. With a Late "screen of green" like this its mainly used to LST and get better airflow. If you are looking to weave tops and get an even canopy then you will want to SCROG while at the end of Veg. PH fluid arrived today so the reservoirs were adjusted to 5.8 after being topped off. 12/24 PH was really low so there is a possible 'acid rain' effect. I adjusted the PHs to 6.0 to compensate and I will reservoir swap the buckets if the PH drops this low again tomorrow. I did some adjustments to the LST using the scrog. 12/25 Reservoirs had a really low PH again so I did a Res swap on all 3 plants to avoid a possible acid rain effect. Essentially that's when C02 dissolves into your water forming CarbonicAcid before dropping 2 H+ protons and causing the PH to lower and turn acidic. I PHed the fresh reservoir to 5.8 and cleaned the tent out. I didn't do any training today. 12/26 I extended the intake duct to deliver the cold outside air directly underneath the focus plants canopy to lower temperatures and force purpling. I adjusted all 3 plants to 5.8 PH and topped of the reservoir on 2 of them. The focus plant has been growing fantastically. 12/27 All of the reservoirs needed topped off and of course they had their PHs adjusted to 5.8. I moved the plants apart a slight bit and did some adjustments to the SCROG for better training and airflow. Temperatures might be getting low at night, but unless it gets worse I will be fine and just consider this an attempt to get more purple. 😋 ______________________________________________________________________________ Week 7 is complete and in the Books. These Girls are thriving on low levels of Bloom + Calmag. It's as if these genetics have replaced all Nitrogen needs with an insatiable desire for CalMag. I really cant seem to give them enough Magnesium to satisfy them at this stage. Overall in this week I have trained the focus plant down into a SCROG and spread out her reach so the colas individually grow vertical. She took a day to recover totally, but she rebounded just fine and spent the rest of the week pumping out pistils. Around day 5 on the week the focus plant started to show just a little bit of color between her pistils so it looks like we have some nice color to look forward to in the coming weeks. Girls feed has been increased to max for outdoor in the ground grows. 1500 ppm 3.0 ec and their all doing fine. The Gelato K is getting huge. Going to tie string to every big branch to keep them from breaking. Very long branches and very heavy just with the leaves. No branches have snapped yet, just waiting on string coming today. Bring the branches back up frrom their bent down positions. Crowding out the branches underneath. Thanks to all the looks and likes. Thanks to Kannabia for some fine seeds.

Another great week! Sweet Caroline looks to have stopped stretching and some buds are starting to form, so I'll be holding off on doing anything more than feeding her for a while. Might still trim the odd leaf, but probably only if it's dead. Day 57 - Light's at full power now. I want to ensure that im not burning her, but I want to maximise growth potential as well, so I'll be keeping an eye to see how she handles it. Day 60 - Fed 6 cups clean PH:6 T:21°C Day 61- Did a little bit of defoliation where some leaves had died off at the bottom. Took a bunch of the ties off from previous LST. The tent was getting full, so I repositioned some things for better light distribution. Also took a runt I had been growing out of the tent and into the backyard to give Sweet Caroline more room to breathe. Day 63- Fed .75 gallon of nutrient solution. PH: 6.01 PPM: 500 T:20°C Doubled up on the Micro and the Bloom, as my schedule for the week seemed a little lite. Overall, I'm happy with the Sweet Tooth Auto so far. 💜 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno B Week 8 | The Bush With Her Own Rhythm Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Last week I talked about how remarkably similar the two Purple Haze sisters had been looking. Well... That story has changed. 😄 This week, Purple Haze Pheno B is making it very clear that she has her own personality. While her sister has developed a different structure and expression, Pheno B has settled into something completely different: She's a bush. 🌿💜 Compact. Dense. Lush. Full of life. And absolutely comfortable being exactly what she is. This is one of the reasons I love growing multiple phenotypes from the same genetics. You can give two sisters exactly the same environment, exactly the same nutrition and exactly the same light... And eventually, genetics starts whispering: "Let me show you who I am." And this girl is definitely talking. 🌱 One Project. One Environment. Twelve Unique Stories. If you're new to the diary, welcome! This plant is part of my ongoing 8×8 Adventure, where twelve different cultivars are being grown together using the 12/12 From Seed technique. From the beginning, every plant has received the same opportunity: • The same lighting schedule • The same Plagron nutrition • The same AutoPot irrigation system • The same Future of Grow lighting • The same TrolMaster-controlled environment • The same temperatures • The same humidity No individual feeding. No special environmental treatment. No different light schedule. The genetics are the variable. And now, eight weeks into flowering, those genetic differences are becoming increasingly obvious. That's the beauty of this project. One environment. Twelve stories. And Purple Haze Pheno B is writing hers in a very different handwriting from her sister. 🌿 The Compact Purple Haze If I had to describe this phenotype in just a few words, I would say: Compact. Bushy. Lush. She's not trying to become the tallest plant in the room. Instead, she's building herself outward. Her branches are packed closely together, her foliage is abundant, and flowering sites are appearing throughout that dense structure. Looking at her now, I can see why she has developed into such a compact plant. There is simply a lot of plant packed into a relatively small space. And I love it. She has created her own little ecosystem. Everywhere I look, there are leaves. Behind those leaves, more branches. And behind those branches... flowers. 🌸 This is a phenotype that seems much more interested in building density than chasing height. And that's perfectly fine with me. 🌸 Week 8 – The Flowers Are Taking Shape The flowering sites are becoming much more established now. The delicate little clusters from the earlier weeks have developed into recognizable young flowers, with pistils continuing to emerge from the developing calyxes. There is still plenty of time for these flowers to swell and mature, but the direction is becoming very clear. She's flowering. She's stacking. And she's doing it everywhere. One thing that really stands out in the photographs this week is just how much healthy foliage surrounds the flowers. The plant remains intensely green and full of vitality. There is no shortage of leaves here. In fact... there may be a few too many. 😄 Which brings me to what's coming next. ✂️ The Defoliation Is Coming Until now, I've deliberately allowed this girl to keep her healthy foliage. I wanted to see how she developed naturally before deciding how much intervention she actually needed. And I'm glad I waited. Because now I can see exactly what I'm dealing with. She's lush. Very lush. The canopy is becoming increasingly dense, and as flowering progresses, I want to make sure the developing flowers have enough space, airflow and light penetration. So I believe next week will probably be the right moment for some selective defoliation. Not a dramatic haircut. Not stripping the plant bare. Just a thoughtful cleanup. Removing selected leaves that are: • Blocking developing flowering sites • Creating unnecessary layers of foliage • Restricting airflow inside the bush • Sitting in places where they provide little additional benefit The goal isn't to change who she is. The goal is to help her express what she's already built. And honestly... I think she's going to shine after it. ✨ 🍃 Keeping the Plant Healthy One thing I continue to appreciate about this phenotype is the overall quality of her foliage. The leaves are broad, healthy and strongly developed. The plant has maintained excellent colour and structure, and there are no major signs that she's struggling with the demands of flowering. This is particularly important at this stage. A plant can be large and impressive while still being stressed. That's not what I'm seeing here. Instead, she looks comfortable. She's growing at her own speed. She's building flowers at her own speed. And she's maintaining her own balance. That's exactly what I want to see. 💧 Feeding for Week 8 As flowering progresses, the feeding program continues to support the plant through this important period of flower development. This week's Plagron feeding consists of: • Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L Supporting the nutritional demands of flowering and continued flower development. • Power Buds – 1 ml/L Supporting the transition and development of the flowering sites. • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Providing additional support during the flowering phase as the flowers continue developing. • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L Part of the flowering nutrition strategy supporting the plant as she progresses toward maturity. • pH Plus – 0.03 ml/L • Lemon Kick – 0.03 ml/L Used as required to bring the nutrient solution into the desired pH range. The current nutrient solution is sitting around EC 2.0 mS/cm, with a solution temperature of approximately 24°C. And, as always... every plant in this project receives the same recipe. The phenotype decides how she responds. 💡 Light From Above and Below The combination of the main Future of Grow lighting and the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting continues to be particularly interesting with this phenotype. Because Pheno B has such a dense, bushy structure, the additional light lower in the canopy becomes especially relevant. The upper canopy naturally receives the strongest illumination. But with a plant this compact, there are flowering sites developing throughout the interior and lower portions of the structure. The under-canopy lighting provides another layer of illumination in those areas. Again, I'm not expecting miracles. It's simply another tool in the ecosystem. And as I selectively remove some of the excess foliage next week, I'm particularly curious to see how the combination of improved airflow, better visibility of the flowering sites and additional lower-canopy light affects her development. 🌡️ A Stable Environment The room continues to provide a consistent environment for all twelve phenotypes. Current conditions for this update: • Flower Week: 8 • Height: 111 cm • Light schedule: 12/12 • Day temperature: 20°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • pH: approximately 6.0 • EC: approximately 2.0 mS/cm • Solution temperature: 24°C • Substrate temperature: 21°C • CO₂: 636 ppm • Watering: approximately 1.2 L per plant / 24h • Pot size: 15 L Note: the temperature values are recorded exactly as shown in this week's GrowDiaries data. Consistency continues to be one of the most important parts of this experiment. The environment stays consistent. The feeding stays consistent. The plants don't. And that's exactly what we're here to observe. 📷 This Week's Gallery This week's photographs really tell her story. The wider shots show a plant that has become incredibly dense and compact, with foliage filling almost every available space. The closer photographs reveal something even more interesting. Behind that wall of leaves are flowering sites developing throughout the plant. The pistils are fresh. The flowers are forming. And the resin production is already becoming visible across the developing structures and surrounding sugar leaves. She's not trying to be her sister. She's not trying to be the tallest. She's not trying to follow the same path. She's simply being Purple Haze Pheno B. And I think that's beautiful. 🔮 Looking Ahead – Time to Let Her Shine Next week may be an important little turning point for this girl. After allowing her to develop naturally for so long, I think she's finally reaching the point where a selective defoliation will benefit the structure she's created. I'll be looking for the leaves that are doing more blocking than contributing. I'll open some of the interior. I'll improve airflow. I'll give those developing flowers a little more breathing room. But I won't take away her personality. That bushy structure is part of what makes this phenotype interesting. The goal isn't to turn her into her sister. The goal is to help this phenotype become the best version of herself. And I have a feeling that once we open her up a little... She's going to surprise us. 💜 Different Doesn't Mean Less One of the biggest lessons from this 8×8 Adventure continues to be that there isn't just one definition of a great plant. Purple Haze Pheno A and Purple Haze Pheno B may share the same genetics. They may share the same room. They may share the same nutrients, lights, irrigation and environmental conditions. But they're telling different stories. And that's exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. Pheno B has chosen a different path. She's compact. She's dense. She's incredibly lush. She's building her own little world instead of reaching for the ceiling. And honestly? I'm loving her for it. 💜 Every phenotype deserves the opportunity to shine in its own way. And next week, when we carefully open this beautiful bush and give those flowers a little more room to breathe... 8/17 is the beginning of week 5, week 2 of flower. she's looking happier than she's ever been! if she makes it through flower looking like this than I might be a forever convert to Gaia green. 8/21 Day 40 did some major LST today i know i said i would let it grow freely but I'm trying to keep it from growing vertically until I harvest the other girl.

Zdravím✋ týden pryč a já tady mám aktuální fotky po 3. týdnu květu a lehký defoliaci Dneškem 1.6. startuju 4. týden květu Major už měří 71 cm. Defoliace mu prospěla né že ne😉 Vlhkost se motám pořád od 50 do těch 55% ale nad už nejdu. Teplota taky v cajku. Zálivka pořád 7L, výtok 1100ml-1300ml Ph 5.6 Do zálivky jsem už zařadil Big Bud Coco a Bud Factor X s Bud Candym, ale nejsem prasák, že bych dávál 9 lahviček na jednu zálivku ale snažím se to prostřídávat tak že mám A+B základ + Solo Tek Bloom + CalMag vždycky a ten zbytek tak nějak kombinuju, jednou vyřadím Senzysim, jednou zas Rhino Skin a tak, prostě abych měl zálivku max 6 lahviček už tak je to dost😂 Na lístkách se začali objevovat první náznaky cukříku, ale taky takovej žlutej maskáč z čehož jsem docela nesvůj (na začátku videa to jde vidět), musel jsem lehce povytáhnout světlo protože u hlavní centrální palice se začali listy kroutit a dělat ozubený kola tak snad to pomůže. Jinak kytce se daří a já doufám že pořád bude až do zdárného konce. Za týden zase zdar a ať se vám všem daří✊

Today, on day 36, the plants have noticeably grown, with heights now ranging from approximately 45–55 cm. We increased the nutrient concentration to 650 ppm, maintaining daytime room temperature at 26°C and nighttime at 22°C, CO2 concentration at around 600 ppm, and humidity at 65%. The light schedule is 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, with a PPFD of 600. We raised the nutrient concentration by 100 ppm, increased the light intensity by 100 PPFD, and lowered the humidity to 65%. The plants have grown significantly, primarily stretching upward with their main colas and side branches. Visually, there are no signs of nutrient deficiencies or toxicities; the plants are absorbing their 650 ppm well, with no salt buildup or burn.

Day 51 12/12 buds are swelling slowly but surely could have slowed down due to ph fluctuations as my ph pen is not functioning properly so had no other option but to go back to advanced ph perfect nutes for timr being until my new ph pen arrives but will start flush sometime next week
