Well we are in week 7 and this girl is just now starting to fill in on her node sites. She is sucking the pH out of the water. I have been gradually lowering the ppm from around 1100... Right now the ppm is around 750 and the next top up I will be putting it down to 550. She is a 10 weeker so we have probably another 4 weeks to go but I'm around for it.

First week of flower not much to do, defoliate few leaves and leave the plant to do its thing. As far as training most of it is already done now so just letting plant stretch up and get some decent height.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. I messed up last week and uploaded pictures that were still from week 6, but I'll just leave it as is. I found one small bud with botrytis, seems to have been the only one, so not too worried there. The far red is really showing its effects now, all of these normally take 63-68 days to finish, as it is I think I can chop around day 58. Combined with the super short veg, I could do 5 runs like this a year. BBC is fading nicely, was growing strong. The others didn't use up the nutrients, even though its been straight water only with microorganisms and some kelp added every two weeks. I didn't do any pH correction and the tap water here comes out at pH of 8 and 0.8 EC, I cut it to 0.4 EC. Impressive! I am not getting sponsored by biotabs, but I am amazed what just the tab itself without any of the product line is achieving. I am sure, you can push the plant more, but I love the keep it simple approach. Next round I am going to add a Blumat self-watering system and just check in on the plants once a week. Edit: Harvested at day 56, the far-red took off a solid week - as expected. Smell was intense, they had 36 hrs of darkness before harvest, will hang until I get back Saturday evening and then go into the winecooler I modified. Currently at 19 C and 50% humidity, bit too dry, but it's only for two and a half days, so I'm not worried. The biotabs didn't fully dissolve in the 9 weeks they were in the pot, next round I will break them up a little. Only the BBC really faded, I hope the taste won't be too much on the nitrogen side 😬 harvest update will follow as soon as they are dry, so probably in another two weeks from now

Permanent Marker has stalled in growth a little. I think it has had a bit too much nitrogen. I'm not worried as I'm sure it'll all work out in the end 😅 5.9.25: I decided the plant was ready for some training, I FIM'ed her. Hopefully I can just tie the odd branch down, when we get to that stage. She’s been adding allot of smaller fans and starting to show sex. To cut down on humidity I decided to cover my 100% perlite grow media with coco and perlite mixed aprox. 50/50 Running a small oscillating fan going to add another soon. Also adding a carbon filter and inline to scrub the air. I wish I could just have a closed loop system with co2. My lights aren’t that strong so I wonder if some co2 sup would help.

Flushed with PH'd water (4.5L) to bring EC run off from 2.2 down to 1.9. Time for another retuck! This should be the last veg mix before transfering Cindy to the flower tent 😎 UPDATE: Timelapse added for this week.

This plant is my first real plant because the first one had a genetic mutation coming from the seed because I gave it exactly the same conditions as this one and therefore I will consider this plant as my first plant. I am very proud of myself to have obtained such a yield (188g wet) with very few problems during the culture of this Steacky Beast Automatic from Zamnesia. This plant resisted very well to a nitrogen deficiency due to a too high ph because of my ph metter which was out of order but also to a small burn to the nutrient. I started rinsing on day 54 (it lasted 2 weeks and a half). I couldn't put you pictures of the trichomes but they were perfect for the harvest and the pistils were also matching so here is why I waited until day 73 The heads are hung in the culture box with brown soft ties (I removed everything except the extractor and the filter), the box is plunged in the dark so it's perfect for drying Thank you for your interest in my growing diary! OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

This plant is in the far back corner so it's hard to get good pics of it. Its the most stretchy plant this run but it looks like its putting on some nice frosty buds. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

11-29 Bad news, Banana Purple Punch has been let go. 😭 She was very stunted and tiny, so I made the bold decision to call it. Thought about letting her finish, but she was really small. But Strawberry cheesecake is making up for it!. This thing seems super happy atm! She has jumped to around 12 inches. Stretch is officially on! Triple grape is rockin too, few flimsy leafs, bud branches. One of the branches, kinda twisted itself. Imma look into that one. But both rockin and lovin the EM1. More importantly than the rest! I still haven't over watered or fed. 😁💪 Time will tell, but I'm staying the course!
