Hey everybody. Day 41. I have been really busy, the garden has gotten out of hands. Tomorrow I will start flowering stage. Just need to go get the flowering nutes. Still havent gotten the hydroguard, my creditcard is locked so cant order shit now. But they still growing and not dead so I take it so that they can still be saved. Hope that they wont freak at the lights swap and scrog training. All the best, yours truely, MrPlow! Day 42. Today was a BUSY day. It was the last chance to clean the rez. I was a bit worried to put the net over them because it means there will not be a chance to clean them in any case, and there has been a battle with the algae and other root issues but if I want to grow them in scrog then now it is time. And I am a Scrog guy all the way, balls deep. And the shitty thing is that I still dont have the Hydroguard, BUT I bought every freaking root product Advanced Nutriets has ever made and added them to rez, hope that can keep them alive another 60 days. It has to work, I like the Scrog style so much im willing to take the risk of not cleaning the buckets until harvest. I think its a must when growing weed, if you are a commercial grower, it gives you the possibility to use every inch of the tent efficiently. This week is pretty routine plants look good was going to flower for 10 weeks but most of the fan leaves are turning yellow indicating that it's almost time to harvest. There aren't too many new white hairs growing most are turning orange.

Things are really starting to look good. This plant has really stretched a lot for an Indica dominant plant. The frost is starting to come on now. The tent smells quite nice when I first open it now. Cooler internals are: 5.9 pH 600 ppm on the 500 scale 1.2 EC 66F solution temp Can’t wait to see how she fills out over the course of the next week.

Another good week done. Increased feeding to near on 1000ppm Wanted to do things differently with these to try and get the most out of them, so I am and will be feeding every time they are watered where as before I was alternating PH water with feeding every other day. No sign of starting flower yet so could potentially be a long Veg auto or I could be mis sold photoperiod plants. Should know more next week. I have seen some are 5 week veg so not too fussed at the moment. Humidity is high in the tent at the minute and that’s because I forgot to empty the dehumidifier and the damp outside weather was no help either, it tends to stick to 45%-55% See you again next week

Hello Diary! This time on the "Farm" there are two new strains from Royal Queen Seeds, Watermelon Auto and Purple Punch Auto. In this diary we will dedicate ourselves to Watermelon. 😀 I would like to thank James of the Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these strains. 🙏 LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L AirPot Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition A few words about Watermelon Automatic. The breeders from RQS set out with the intention of crafting a strain that lights the taste buds on fire. To achieve such a tantalizing terpene profile, they selected two of the most flavorful parent strains available: Tropicanna Cookies and Lemon OG. Both of these varieties are packed full of limonene, myrcene, and other fruity and earthy molecules. Watermelon Automatic emerged with a genetic makeup of 75% indica, 20% sativa, and 5% ruderalis. The speedy autoflowering strain managed to inherit all of the tasty terpenes from her ancestors. These are the characteristics, we will now see what it will look like on my small farm. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 14/01/2021. Planting. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Soil is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Air-Pot's, Organic Additives that I mix with soil. From the beginning of this hobby, I use only organic fertilizers. I used 11L pots, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the soil and mixed everything well. After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil. After planting is completed, they enter their new home. As I wrote earlier, in addition to Watermelon, there are two more Purple Punch Auto on the Farm to keep him company. The temperature in the Box at that time was 23 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 45%, so I will have to put humidifier to raise humidity. I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

Switched to my 5 gal pots now, dumped 6L of water into each plant to get the pH back down still waiting for them to dry out a little before the next watering which should be less so next week will have water amounts Height is for the holy punch again. Power flower is still around 1.5"

finally here we are, the transition to flowering begins after 7 weeks the girls are ready, with some feeding problems, I will try to give them what they prefer and now the countdown begins.

Growth in early flower stage looks good. Plenty of bud sites. Nutes and LST, then major defoliation in one week.

Day 72: Welcome to week 11. Today I realized some more damaged leafs. I'm not sure, what it is. I've to ask here, now. But as I saw this and also, that the EC within the soil is increasing, I was thinking, that she is not able to consume the nutrients correctly. I checked my PH meter and I calibrated it wrong last week 🙈 So she got the wrong PH for about 2 days. I hope with the corrected PH, she is able to take the nutrients again. UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I have done 2 things now. I lowered the level of the LEDs to 7 in AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro to give less intensity to the upper colas. Secondly, I added some CalMag to the reservoir. I also added some distilled water to adjust the EC level and then checked the PH level. Day 73: For now, it does not look worse to me. I refilled the reservoir and adjusted the PH. I increased the CalMag Agent from 0.6 to 1.5 ml/L. Day 74: I checked again the symptoms and as I was feeding the PK booster to long, I strongly have to assume, that the CalMag issues she is showing, are the symptoms of too much PK for a too long time. I decided to clear the reservoir completely and added only a bit of CalMag to plain water and adjusted the PH. Day 75: Today I got a new and more reliable PH meter. It turned out, that the other one was still calibrated wrong and with that information, I assume it is a combination of the wrong PH for days and too much PK for too long. So, I'm happy, with my decision so far. Next time, I'll have to make a note, wenn to stop with the PK boosters ☺️ Learnings over learnings. Day 76: Today I was able to take some photos and also a video, to show how she looks now. Not too bad and I also checked the trichomes the first time today. It's looks like she is almost ready to harvest. I was aiming week 13 and with that tiny mistake, I guess she is ready someday next week (sorry, for the bad photo of the trichomes, I was not able to get a better one 🙈). I cleaned the reservoir and filled it with plain water @ 6.4. Day 77: End of the week and I want to share with you some buds of this monster. One girl is seriously fading on me after 8 weeks only. The buds are rock hard, loud, purple and covered in trichomes though. We’ll see how this develops. Dropped the small one while watering too and it’s been all rubbery ever since 😂 Chaotic run is an understatement!
