Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. day22 video. now adding more pk booster than earlier weeks, should be done week 7-8 we will see day23 I start adding more pk, still will 4x more pk now. Some nice pics today, videos of each, frost on fan leafs, no issues other than pros: bridal frost on fan leafs+sugar, cons 6ft tall. I think I should have pumped more pk earlier into flower/pre Its cool. Adding 2tbsp soluble pk into 5gal vs quarter tbsp in beginning 22 days ago. I am feeding soluble pk, +3 pk soil conditioners and carbs every day. There is no water day. day 25 stacking up. been spraying old cs I made 3ish years ago to test, works on unrooted so I may potential cross. Bridal starting to smell like a mix between fresh watermelon, and lemon+lime or a citrus aroma.

Im doing a bit of defoliation, moreover the leaves that covering the buds, i cut some small branches on the bot of the plants, to keep energy for the distal parts of the branches. Every 2 day approximately, to no stress a lot the plants, I pinch the apex of MD1, MD2 and BB1, that my secondary branches go up, until the height of the apex central. Nutriments : 2,0 mL/L of rhizotonic, 2,5 mL/L of cannazym every watering. 2,0 mL/L of terra vega every 2 or 3 watering in case of they need (N) until the final of the strecht (first 2 weeks of bloom). I will put 5L every watering (pots of 18L) and I will analysed the drain of every plants to check pH and the fertilizer amount. Im really proud of theses plants, they are strong, resistant (the trunks are huuuge, moreover the Moby dick from Dinafem) and so healthy !! The MD 3 has reacted really really good with the topping ! Im impressed and quite sure do topping next time ;) I hope they will give me the best of themselves !!!! Lets wait the final of the strecht 😉

All 3 plants came out to 146 grams after drying and trimming . I didn’t really have a base line to compare to but I’m satisfied. I learned a lot. Had some ups and downs. I Learned trimming sucks. I learned that ya’ll make it look easier than it is. I also learned there’s some pretty cool people in this community.

Diese Woche haben die Ladys einen schönen Wachstums Schub bekommen , sowie ihre ersten schönen Gesichter angefangen zu zeigen, Habe noch einmal schon entlaubt und 2 scrog artige Netze installiert um die gesamte Fläche zu nutzen. Happy Easter. According to my calculations, the final week is beginning. Or the second to last. Let's see. I defoliate everything that has turned yellow. I think I read once that shortly before the end it is normal for the plants to draw all their nutrients from the leaves. So everything looks good, I think. Oh yes, I put my fan on the ceiling “McGyver-style”. Functions. Have fun looking for eggs.

Day 22 Update: LST rechecked and adjusted as necessary. All three got dechlorinated tap water, PPA1 and PPA2 each got nearly a L, and PPA3 got about 1/2-2/3rds. Day 24 Update: LST rechecked and adjusted as necessary. All three got dechlorinated tap water; PPA1 and PPA2 each got nearly a L, while PPA3 received about 2/3rds. Pictures show decent foliage filling in over the past two days, so I adjusted again. One, maybe two more good adjustments and then I'll mostly let em grow. PPA3 seems to be recovering from the topping well, but I wouldn't know the difference yet anyways. Its fun to watch them grow regardless! Day 25 Update: Just took a picture of each today. Day 26 Update: Took a picture of each in the tent. They will likely all be getting water tonight. I think just regular water again tonight. The tip with 2 sets of stems broke off PPA2 so they’ve all been topped if inadvertently. I always had my doubts because of the soil PPA2 is in, but this will drastically affect the outcome. Day 27 Update: I watered them with about a .75 L each tonight. Decholorinated tap. Maybe add some Tiger Bloom next time? Pretty sure the soil was still pretty hot at least with nitrogen from whatever I had growing before, so maybe just water again honestly. Updated pictures of each today. PPA2 is going to be severely limited. I looked through the pictures, you can see the break on PPA2 on day 24. I probably could have saved if I'd noticed, so I've learned to keep a better eye on the training and not force the main stalk so much. I don't know if I'll adjust the training anymore. Day 28 Update: Just a new picture of each. There’s also a video showing off my whole tent. Light dose of Tiger Bloom tomorrow night is the plan.

This girl has been my favorite since since I tried growing her outdoors this year but she got pinched . The aroma and the colour of the buds is great. The team at dinafem had some of the best genetics in the game I'm so in love. The plant was transplanted this week and she took it very well with lots of new growth and branches stretching all over . I'm going g to stretch her out some more this week can't wait to see her grow out ...

She's filled out really nicely in these final weeks. The leaves are maturing and turning amber, I hope to cut the plant here soon, I don't want too much amber in the buds, as I'm aiming for a more cerebral head high. She's got really nice citrusy diesel tones. Very similar to my first grow with notable different tones. Make sure to check back again soon as I will add more pictures throughout the week! I will be growing her again, as I feel like I let her down, by letting her PH drift so low.. Other than that, she grew beautifully, and fumes of potency as you gaze at her! She yielded more than I expected! She's not that far below my previously lowest yielding plant! :)

She's by far the prettiest plant I've grown, she keeps smelling better and better. I haven't documented the nutrients very well but within the past few weeks I've slowly started feeding her more and more till it's seems like a significant amount to note. She's looking to finish up by Christmas hopefully!

Day 66 Day 23 Flower 02/06/24 sunday Feed today! She is looking amazing, bud sites at nice distance this time, she has a strong structure. Light lower defoliation and final lollipop of tidy bud sites reforming. She is starting to smell like garlic / gas it's quite strong already. Dropped down again now to bottom of tent she has full headroom to bloom 💚 Not much else to say this week. Day 67 Day 24 Flower 03/06/24 monday Big feed today she was quite dry she happily took 4L I did 5L with a few drips of run off. She's really doing well in the flower transition. Will update pictures tomorrow. ## Since the weather has got warmer, I have been flooded with fungus gnats. So I have prepared my own organic pesticide spray. Boiling 2.5L water with 1 chopped onion, 1tbsp of chilli flakes, and 3 spoons of ground garlic. Boil for 10mins, simmer for 20. Allow to cool, Sieve off bits and lumps and pour into desired spray bottle. I prepped the soil first by applying ground cinnamon (helps to fight bad bacteria) a sprinkle to top soil. Then applied my sprayed to the soils, giving a generous spray, I left the canopy as already in flower and adding moisture to flowing buds a no go 🤦‍♂️ Already 24hrs after I see the difference, no more air born flies already 🙌😁💚 ## Day 69 Day 26 Flower 05/06/24 Wednesday PHd water and calmag today. Pictures updated. Not much else to say except seeing more developments towards her bud site now.
