Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!

Hello Diary. The first week of flowering on my little farm is over, so I started photographing the plants in more detail and I will now start photographing on a black background as well now that they are much more interesting and beautiful. 😍 I changed the light regime in the Box, now the plants have 4 hours of darkness and 20 hours of light. As you can see in the photos, Fat Banana grew 72cm in the first 30 days which I would say is the average for Automatic on my Farm. Compared to Haze Berry it is slightly lower, but considering the strain, it was also to be expected. We’ll see how much more it will grow, I hope it stays lower than 100cm. 😏 My plan is to do defoliation in a day or two. Watering has become quite difficult due to the amount of leaves and branches but I think it will come in handy to aerate them anyway. The flowers develop nicely and there are many of them, Fat Banana is not somehow symmetrical, the branches developed differently, so it looks a little strange, but I really like it because of its naturalness. I still add BioBizz as scheduled for the current week and add CalMag but only preventively in a smaller dose. Watering is on average every two to three days. Another Haze Berry who keep her company on the Farm, I put in the middle and put a pot underneath to bring it closer to the light. It is now a real little jungle on the Farm so defoliation is a must. I am satisfied with how the plants are developing, they have good conditions and I think they are enjoying my "Little Farm". 😎 Let’s take a look at what happened this week. 17/10/2020 - Day 23. Watering and changing the light. I added BioBizz according to the schedule for the first week of flowering, I replaced Fish-Mix with Bio-Grow. I still add 1.5 ml / lit of CalMag for prevention. p.H. I dropped to 6.6 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. After watering I changed the light mode to 20/4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 41% humidity. 20/10/2020 - Day 26. Watering. Same procedure as three days ago. p.H - 6.5 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.2 degrees and 43% humidity. 22/10/2020 - Day 28. Photographing and measuring plant height. Since the beginning of flowering, the motives for photography have doubled , so the number of photos has increased. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 45% humidity. Fat Banana Auto - Day 28. - 72 cm This is it for the first week of flowering, now I still have to do defoliation and then with pleasure follow the development of flowers. See you soon. 🙌

🌿 Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Week 6 (Early Flower) 🌱 Same Family, Completely Different Personality One of the greatest joys of growing multiple phenotypes side by side is discovering just how differently they can express the very same genetics. Frosted Guava Pheno B continues to surprise me every single week. Sharing the same home, the same lighting, the same nutrition, the same environmental conditions, and the very same 12/12 From Seed journey as her sister, she's writing an entirely different story. Where Pheno A reached for the sky with a broader, more open structure, Pheno B has remained wonderfully compact, building a dense framework of strong branches and closely spaced internodes that give her an incredibly sturdy appearance. Standing at 99 cm, she isn't the tallest lady in the room. But every day she convinces me a little more that height isn't everything. Sometimes the smaller plants carry the biggest surprises. 🌸 Week 6 – Flowers Are Starting to Take Control This week marks the moment where flowering truly begins taking over. The vertical stretch has slowed considerably, allowing the plant to redirect her energy into building the dozens of flowering sites spread across her canopy. Every branch now carries clusters of bright white pistils, and what were small pre-flowers only a week ago are already beginning to form recognizable bud sites. There's a quiet confidence about this phenotype. She isn't growing wildly. She's growing with purpose. Each node feels productive, each branch contributes to the canopy, and the entire plant appears focused on one objective—building flowers. 🌿 Compact Structure with Huge Potential One characteristic continues standing out above everything else. Density. Her internodal spacing remains noticeably tighter than her sister's, creating a plant that feels full without becoming overcrowded. The careful Low Stress Training carried out during vegetative growth has paid off beautifully, allowing light to reach deep into the canopy while preserving her naturally compact architecture. Strong lateral branching, thick stems and excellent airflow throughout the plant provide a solid framework for the weeks ahead. Looking at her today, it's easy to imagine each one of these flowering sites developing into chunky, well-supported colas. Sometimes compact plants end up being the ones that surprise you the most. 🌼 Early Flower Development Flower production has accelerated nicely this week. Fresh clusters of pistils continue appearing across every growing tip, while the first small stacks of calyxes are beginning to give each bud site more definition. Although it's still early in bloom, there's already a noticeable increase in flower density compared to last week. Every passing day adds a little more volume. A few more pistils. A little more structure. The transformation has clearly begun. The first hints of resin are also starting to appear on the surrounding sugar leaves, offering a small preview of what's still to come. 🍃 Plant Health Health remains exceptional. The foliage displays a deep, healthy green, with leaves maintaining excellent posture throughout the entire canopy. There are no signs of stress, deficiencies, or nutrient imbalance. The stems continue thickening to support future flower weight, while new growth remains vigorous and beautifully uniform. She has developed into one of those plants that simply looks comfortable. Comfortable in her environment. Comfortable with her feeding. Comfortable doing exactly what nature designed her to do. 💧 Nutrition & Hand Watering Unlike her sister, Pheno B continues her journey under traditional hand watering, allowing me to spend a little extra time with her during every irrigation. This week's feeding consists of: • Terra Bloom — 1.9 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Power Buds — 1 ml/L • Green Sensation — 1 ml/L Maintaining: • EC: 1.78 mS/cm • pH: 6.0 It's been fascinating to compare both irrigation methods throughout this project. Despite one plant growing with AutoPot and the other by hand, both continue developing beautifully under the same Plagron feeding program. 🌡️ Environment Stable environmental conditions continue allowing each phenotype to express its genetics without unnecessary stress. Current conditions: • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 72% • Solution temperature: 21°C • Root zone temperature: 21°C • CO₂: Approximately 639 ppm Keeping these parameters consistent has allowed the subtle genetic differences between both Frosted Guava phenotypes to become the real story of this grow. 👀 Looking Ahead Over the coming week, I expect flower production to accelerate significantly. Those small clusters of pistils should begin stacking together into clearly defined buds, while resin production gradually spreads across the sugar leaves and surrounding calyxes. What excites me most isn't her height. It's her structure. Her compact frame, tight internodal spacing, and impressive number of flowering sites give me the feeling that she could become one of those plants that quietly delivers an outstanding harvest without ever being the biggest in the room. Sometimes the plants that ask for the least attention end up giving you the biggest smile at harvest. 🙏 Final Thoughts Frosted Guava Pheno B is becoming one of the most fascinating plants in this entire 8×8 Adventure. Growing beside her sister under identical conditions has been a perfect reminder that genetics are never just about a strain name—they're about expression. Same family. Same environment. Same care. Yet a completely different personality. She has chosen to stay compact, sturdy and beautifully organized, and every week she becomes a little more convincing that this unique structure could translate into something very special when harvest day finally arrives. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. The quality of the ingredients directly influences the quality of the output. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. A shift in perspective is what changes perception over time. By deliberately considering a situation from another point of view (perspective), you can challenge your initial, knee-jerk interpretation (perception). This is a valuable skill in both personal and professional life for fostering empathy, improving problem-solving, and making more informed decisions. Move the mind off perception into perspective. Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.

Day 71. Took down old leaves, she smells FANTASTIC and is sticky, will be strong ! Mars TS1000 did great job ! This girl coped without food best, but fading too. Sometimes i regret, that no nutes were used, maybe taste will pay out the sorrow ;))) Day 76. She fills the room with sweetness !!! Still would need 3-4 weeks, but i go for month holidays in 4, so i chop her on events last day - Aprils 30. Day 77. She is getting there, i see some weak colours, smell is very nice, even old leaves makes fingers sticky, gets weak violet tone and is on highway to chop land ;))) Happy Growing !!!

First I need to thank Mrs_Larimar for helping me through this process!! Thank you!!!😅 The good girl was rinsed with 20 liters of tap water and surrounded with approx. 1.5 - 2 liters of fresh soil in a larger pot. After strong concerns about whether it will be something with the good, one day later I have already enjoyed 6cm of height gain and much stronger fragrances. Now, on the third day after the action, she looks more fresh again and her scent....... * Awwwww * No nutrients or other aids have been added. Only when the weight is right, it will be poured again. Yesterday one day after rinsing I removed the 2 lowest fan leaves as it seemed to me from stress of the plant as I could do that. It does not seem to bother her. Wish me good luck! xD

Well I made the decision to remove the plastic cover of the greenhouse because these babies are HUGE. Never had a plant this tall, ever, especially an auto. I removed all the lighting and left them and the other hydro girls exposed to the natural elements. Most were barely showing any signs of flowering so I figured the natural lighting would be sufficient and promote flowering. All my lighting is IP65 rated waterproof so I'm still looking for another way to mount them to run during the day when light is scarce or on cloudy days etc. But not for any extra time compared to sunrise and sunset. Have been removing large fans from the bottom up, exposing lower nodes. Also have been adding support their extremely long branches or tieing them back to the main stalk loosely at a node with hemp rope. At this point I'm not at all dissapointed that these Devils haven't flowered sooner, I expected delayed flowering because of the high doses of Superthrive throughout most of vegetative life. I just hope theres enough time left in the season for them to finish! Had to add an extension on our fencing lol, but the neigbors seem cool 😎, its legal anyways. Will add official height and current pictures in a few hours.

week 4ish. the supercropping failed. the branches insisted on just coming back up no matter how much i pinched them back down ,probably had to tie them but.... fuck it. so some burnt leave tips from being too close to the light.

420 Fastbuds FBT2306 Week 7 What up Grow fam. Week 7 update on these amazing plants. Looking nice would be an understatement for these two. The flower sites are a thing of mesmerizing beauty when gazing upon them. You'll see shades of purple, pink, and white. Definitely a sweet smell to them. Still feeding nutes every 3rd water with water and calmag in between. Over all been easy Growing with no special treatments needed. Happy Growing

Welcome to week 16 of my grow diary. Growth has slowed down considerably this week. The plant has only grown 2cm. More pistils have formed. Nothing else has changed compared to the previous week. See you next week ✌️

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Que hay familia, yo con muchos dolores de cabeza esta variedad es difícil de cojones, piden mucho alimento, han ensanchado bastante así que me toco hacer poda de bajos que no me gusta nada. También estoy al ojo por que me huele a hermafrodita una de ellas, no me hagan caso el cultivo anterior salió top y ando todo el día fumado... pero no es el caso. Nuestras green ak son bastante sensibles a los cambios de temperatura y bueno, no se la recomendaría a medir principiante si no más a gente con varios años de experiencia para poder sacar lo mejor de ellas. Ph controlado 6,5 no fallamos en eso ni en el alimento ya veremos próximamente como avanza saludos familia.

week 4 from seed. we're up to 600 PAR, 1250 EC, same 5.7-6.2 range for PH. going in once/twice a day and continuing to LST the quadline branches and do some light defoliation. everything looks pretty healthy. one plant did have a small split in the main stem from pulling the branches down too hard, we'll see if she recovers. got into some IPM with crop defender 3 - just a blend of botanical oils (and i use yucca for emulsifier) really on the fence about flipping to flower this week, but my girlfriend who knows nothing about growing said I should wait one more week so that's what I'm going to do.
