Week 13 not a bad week if I do say so my self …guna tie down this week and begin spraying silver thiosulfate on donor plants then next week I’ll throw the donor plants into flower and begin the actual breeding project …which ever specimen reverses first shall be collected and used to pollinate which ever one doesnt will be killed and removed acord

After a few days of supplementing with co2, the plants grew very quickly

11/22 Day 31 from flip. Today is the first day that I took a tape measure from the lights to the topmost part of the canopy and I haven’t seen a change. I’ll check again tomorrow but I’m really hoping the stretch is finally done. I still have about 10 inches of space between the lights and canopy so I think I’ll be ok with that. I took the chance to do what is hopefully a near final defoliation of a few leaves and some smaller sucker branches that won’t amount to much. Everything still looks super healthy, no red anywhere on any stems and no discoloration on the leaves. Everything is spot on. Light adjusted to 840 PAR / 36.3 DLI. 11/25 Day 34 from flip. I made some adjustments to my nute mix to be more firmly at 1.3 EC, which means I’ve added some additional nutes into the mix. I also tested runoff EC and discovered things were spiking a bit more than I’d like. So I mixed up a few batches of my new mix and I’ve been feeding every few hours to flush things out a little bit. I’ve brought it down from 1.9 to 1.5 so far after this. I may finally need to break down and set up some timers to feed multiple times throughout the day. Obviously once a day is not getting done right now. 11/26 Day 35 from flip. I finally got the timer hooked up to my pump to begin automatic watering. For now, I have it set to water at noon for a minute when the lights come on, a 2 minute pause to let that settle, and then 30 seconds more to make sure both are fully saturated. The second fertigation event will be at 6:00 for 45 seconds, and then right before lights off another 45 seconds. I’ll have to keep an eye on it to see if I need to adjust any more for now. I haven’t adjusted the lights since last time, but the latest reading is 885 PAR / 38.2 DLI at the highest point of the canopy. It’ll stay there for now.

Week 4 Flower: Day 1: Fed her with another 10ml/l of Biotabs BudBooster and will no longer defoliate the lady, Day 2: Quite happy about her progress so far. Hoping that my 125W Purple Alien LED will deliver enough light for thick and dense buds. FUCK, i just discovered some pollen on a leaf - and i saw the stem evolving pollen. So i cut it. Lets hope that not every bud will be full of seeds. Are there Nanners or is it a Hermie guys?? (Pictures)

We had approx 4 inches (10 cm) of rain this past week which is a lot for this area. Soil has a lot of moisture but not too wet. Excellent growth in veg stretching a fair bit and starting to show signs of early flower development. Preflowers have a bit of resin: smells quite skunky and a bit like burned rubber, or mercaptans/thiols. Need some sun and heat.

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. 5 cm in 3 days. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. Also 4cm in 4 days. She will be low yielder with good stuff. It smells sickkkk.

Seeing pistols today on 28 so I had to get photos! These girls are looking great. I have cut back on watering and they're looking much better imo. A few burnt tips but I'm not too worried. My ph was almost 7 a week ago so I go a ph pen for my water and did some watering at 6ph and now going with 6.3 to slowly bring her down. These girls are looking super bushy, green, and hardy imo and they're more appealing to me than the Orginal Afghan Kush Auto from Fastbuds grown side by side. Day 34 this lady is running, I can see flowers getting bigger every day, smell started really really soon this time so I already had to add the Carbon Filter. I’d like to close the cycle in less then 80 days. Ph 6.2 Ppm 731 As I’m growing an solito in a 9.2 lt pots with all mix nutrients I’m slowing down with all in one and just giving base feedings, I ll decide later if I should give super-pk for the next weeks Day 40, tomorrow will be feeding days. Sge’s going really well, resin is already showing up on flowers that are several as and colorfull, smell is already there 🤤 Tomorrow update with feedings parameters. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds.
