Week 8 now she gets finalpart

I harvested early because I noticed a few seeds starting. I'm assuming that's why my buds are small.

Had a busy week looking after her this time. I topped her mid way though last week. It felt so wrong taking a pair if scissors to her after trying to take good care of her. Lol. It definitely slowed her growth down for a good few days after. Then at the weekend I re potted her in a larger pot. I think it's 20lt but not 100% sure. She went a little bit limp after re potting, but only for a day or so, and seems to have recovered nicely now. I'm still on an 18/6 light cycle and using formulex once a week. Though I intend to switch to using Ionic soil grow from tomorrow, so hoping to see the veg stage really come on this week. I added a video clip this week too. Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. Alright. 5th week just started. FIMming is done on the Purple Punch with Today, it looks so good and big. I think it is growing wider than taller, even her "hands" with the fan leaves are bigger than mine, and now it will be wider because of FIMming. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is also fine I started LST yesterday. I will continue the same way of fertilizing this week on Friday 2x, Saturday in the morning, Monday 2x, and Wednesday 2x. I raised up the water quantity so from today I will give 75ml per plant 2 times (Morning, Evening) so 150 ml per plant, altogether 300 ml. It also applies when I fertilize the plants, but the only difference is that the water is with bat guano and acacia honey mix. This Friday ( Day 32) I did not water them to not to be overwatered. I just sprinkle now for the night. This Sunday was fertilization day also, Saturday I did not water them. Gelato Cookie D'ohpe started flowering this week, pre flowers can be seen. When it is harvested, I will set the light schedule 12/12 for the Purple Punch to start flowering. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is autoflowering, the Purple Punch is feminized. What a mix yeah, but it is my first time growing. Tuesday update: Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is stretching rapidly, flowering time started. Purple Punch is growing also very well new shoots are coming. End of the week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 40cm, it started stretching so quick due to flowering. Purple Punch is 26cm.

Plants taking to the technique very well imo. Particularly the back right one, which has created a almost perfect dome shape. I did miss a watering and they didn't like that atall. As I usually wait for the soil to be dry before I water again, so if I miss a watering, they get extremely dry. All the leaves dropped down completely vertical, I thought it was all over, but they bounced straight back with the next watering. 🙌 The plant has now been topped twice, once to creat the initial + shape, and again to split each stem of the + into 2. So each plant now has 8 main stems.

Cherry Punch just got her last feed this past week. The next 2 weeks will be full flushing for them. Garlic cookies, watermelon Skittlez, Mint cookies, cookies and cream, and wedding cake are going to be fed up to weeks 7-8. All the plants are finishing nicely! smells are getting a little more dank forsure!😎

6’-4” & 5’-8” as of today, 6’-0” average height. These ladies are beautiful! Everyone who comes by the house just stops and stares when they get near my garden. So do I 👍🤣 I had to move some plants outdoors from my indoor grow due to losing the battle to high heat and humidity. Two are super close to harvest, one might get cut over the weekend. Day 36 update; Nothing to add. Bit more crystals, tho not too much.. Day 37 update; Looks like the tap water fixed the magnesium problem. And added some fertilizer today. Day 38 update; Progress still be progress. Day 39 update; Trichomes definitely spreading. Day 40 update; Still not that great at holding the microscope still, so pictures aren't really that good.. Strong aroma from the plants now tho, very nice fruity smell I can't quite pinpoint what is, but very intense when I open the tent. Day 41 update; She's starting to pop some purple colour on the top leaves.. Not exactly sure why, as she's had the exact same treatment as the other one, while that one isn't showing any purpling. I'm not entirely against it, but since I'm not sure if it's genes or what, it's a little, well... - Added a few extra pics of the other one, since she's looking a little better bud wise. - Smell in the tent is fantastic.. A little more purple on the leaves, and definitely more progress on the buds as well. - The other one is further ahead, even tho it's only day 39 Day 42 update; End of week 6.. - Getting closer and closer. Harvest gonna be in a couple of weeks.

Start of week 5. Expecting to flower at the end of this week. Hopefully. Added advanced nutes Cal mag and PH perfect micro grow bloom. 2ml/L on day 29 08/29/20. And again on 09/02/20 Auto speed bud is pretty much an experimental strain since its so fast. 65 days from sprout to harvest. 3 are looking really good. The other 3 not so much. We'll see what happens
