Hi Growmies, Basically its not going well for the Cbd gal this week, whilst the other seeds have really taken off shes been stuck in her shell all week. It did start cracking but then uas completely stopped over the past few days, so yesterday i removed the shell and shes stuck really tight in the shell membrane 😐 Im going to now wait for her to loosen this once shes gained some energy from the lamp. As with the others shes not gone outside due to the weather and depending on recovery may have to become an indoor project, but we'll see. Thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

I'm going to give her the chop sometime this week. Giving her one final watering today, then I'm going to let her dry out til harvest. She smells fucking awesome, super aromatic. It's quite obnoxious not being able to find anything on this strain. But I'll try and describe what she's like. For one, I'd say that once you've got an established plant, it's very painless to grow. I didn't measure waterings or nute feedings. Treated her like a tomato plant basically. The smell is incredible, super fruity with just a hint of skunk... and given the character this strain is named after(💩), let's just say that's a very pleasant surprise 😮 We're in the final stretch of her growth here. I'm not expecting too much yield wise by this point. I want an OZ, so I'm hoping this extra week will get her to chunk up just a bit more. Cheers fellow growers, I would recommend other Ethos strains before this one. But if you're accustomed to their Genetics, this is definitely worth copping for the experience. Really excited to see how she smokes! 🤑😎 Update 10/28/21: Something made me decide to give her a flush and maybe a week or two of extra time. I think she'll start doing the purple fade thingy, as I see purple on some of the tips of calyxes and sugar leaves. I hope for one crop like this every year.. Flushed her yesterday and took the updated pictures(the ones in the dark) today. Looks like she REALLY put on some weight between yesterday and today. I mean I had to stake her up, that's how chunky she's getting. The stems and branches look like they're on the brink of snapping 😳 Looking back, I don't think I've had a plant get this chunky by this point in flower. Makes me super excited I have more beans of this stuff. I may end up leaving a lower branch to chuck her into the veg tent post-harvest, I'm seriously that in love with this strain.

Finally moved into tent! Still noticing some weird discoloration/ shriveling and dying of lower leaves. Thinking it could be a ph issue going to start aiming for 6.3-4 Also had a little bit of a crazy fungus knat bloom so maybe they could be affecting my root zone more then i realize going to spray them with some more neem oil and see how they do Need to transplant into 2 gal

D64: Well, as I mentioned in yesterday´s report, she has some kind of deficiency I cannot tell why, so I presume it is salt buildup - which I can see from outside the pot a little more than usual - from the heavy feeding. So in that regard I flushed her and watered until it runs with 6.2 pH water. Did a little defoliation for the last time, from now on she won´t be getting anymore training nor defoliation. I expected her to be a little bigger by now but at least the seems like a fast runner and will probably finish on the estimated time by RQS of 10-11 weeks. D65: The deficiency don´t seem to have evolved. From day to night she developed some nice purple on the leaves! D66: The defiency seems to have stopped and she has a lot of dying leaves, I think it´s natural and not related to the deficiency. D69: She is getting ready.. the thricomes are looking overall about 60-70% cloudy with some clear and amber, some more days, maybe a week and she´s done. D70: Well, last day of the week and unfortunately last day of the life of this beautiful girl. I guess she had 1 or 2 more weeks still but today I woke up and she had mold – Botrytis -. It was on the low buds, closer to the ground even tho I didn´t even water, but the problem I found out later what it was: 88% humidity during the night. Now, I trimmed her all and put to dry, which will be a problem since the humidity outside is 90% and it doesn´t stop raining in this time of the year. Man these seeds germinated to quick when I first planted them lol . The team over at this hemp company have been putting alot of work into their brand and seeds .. I was lucky enough to be able to try this @hokuseedsco "purple la berna " it's a hemp cbg/CBD cross measuring under 1%thc . I was interested in growing hemp and with the chance to start these I knew I was on the road to some killer buds. These plants were started indoors under my mars hydro ts-1000 and were grown in organic soil mix with organic nutes . Out of the seeds I planted I had a few males but a few females as well . After being Inside for a while I moved them all outdoors and transplant then into 7 gallon pails fabric and chill on them for a while . They loved outdoors and flourished I was battling hungry plants as I don't like to fed more then I have to or want to. In the end of it all I gave synthetic #future harvest nutes for a while and then I finished with the @dutchsciencenutrients "bloom" . My end result is a beauty pair of plants with one going down today and the other is this week end . The trained pheno was purple everywhere leaves stems and buds while the untrained pheno was tall over 6"feet and had bright orange Hairs with light green buds . I'm in love with this bud here and I'm eager for the next growing this spring.This stuff is the sweetest , danky smelling hemp I could have dreamed of. Crazy bag appeal and I can't wait to get the smoke report going as well .. my whole grow I also used @miicrobialmass every two or three weeks it's good at creating microbiology in the soil helping to release essential nutrients to their roots ..tasted good and gave over an ounce of buds they are sticky and light with very strong berry smells over powers THC cannabis near buy just wow ..calm smoke just kinda relaxes you away !

Día 22 de vegetación, se realiza poda FIMing a las 4 plantas, que ya tienen 6 nudos, se ven fuertes y de un color verde muy sano, se riega un día con 250 ml. y al otro con 100 ml. se va variando entre agua con calmag, microvida o fertilizantes para mantener baja la EC. No estoy corrigiendo el PH como parte del experimento. Día 25 de vegetación, las plantas se han recuperado bien de la poda FIMing, se riegan a diario y cada riego con fertilizantes diferentes o solo calmag, para mantener una EC bajo los 800. Se siguen doblando las ramas y podando los brotes inferiores.

Added some cheap organic feed I bought from Wilkinsons a while back. Both plants looking happy, healthy and green. These plants are at the front and to the right in the timelapses.

Week 7 of flower 9/20/24 Changed the nutrients on 9/23/24 to fit the ripening stage. Using FinalPart with ProBloom EC 1.3, PH 6-6.2. Checking runoff PH and EC daily (EC 1.25, PH 5.2). Using H2O2 with every watering (to help the PH stabilize at 5.5-6.5 range if there is a root problem). Plant seems happy and not showing necrosis/nutrient burn problems. Hand watering ones a day at the beginning of the light schedule.

day 26 flower and she has no visible signs of stress, smells very sweet and slightly fruity

Girls are still growing great! I went away for the weekend and they were not watered for 48 hours and they dried out a little to much. One plant got curled leafs and brown spots. I’ve noticed a very small amount of PM hiding in some undergrowth. I just removed the effected leaves, I think it might be from where I water the back plants. Some water drips onto those areas

8/21/2024 Added two fresh gallons with week 4 nutrients to bring the reservoir up to 750ppm. Will plan to do a more substantial water change in the next few days. Both plants are booming! Added the trellis netting to begin training the plants to fill the tent! This week should be interesting. 8/24/2024 Both plants are looking good up to this point. Have continued to add fresh nutrient water as they are drinking much more now. I have a second trellis net on hand as I believe it will be required for an aditional layer of support as they stretch into pre-flower. Looking like a 4.5 or 5 week veg before flipping. 8/25/2024 Noticed Plant B water level was only a few inches in the bottom of the bucket. Had a pump flow rate issue with most of the feed from the reservoir diverting to the closer bucket. Working to rectify the issue, but Plant B is definitely stunted, unfortunately. 8/27/2024 The water level issue was remedied by putting a separate pump and feed line in place for each plant. Continuing to defoliate as I prepare to take clones. I will likely run this week of veg a few extra days to allow Plant B to recover a bit from the water issues. Additionally, after taking clones I will give 1-2 days of recovery for the plants before switching to 12-12 and starting pre-flower! 8/29/2024 Raised the lights to drop DLI to about 30. Continuing to monitor water level issues. 8/30/2024 Did a final pruning on both plants before flipping to flower tomorrow. Started topping reservoir with bloom nutrient blend. Shortened light cycle by 2 hours to not shock the plants into flower. Added a second layer of trellis netting. Plant A (larger of the two) is absolutely thriving, plant B (smaller of the two) is bouncing back from the water level issues earlier this week! Both plants are looking ready for flower.

Week 6 went pretty well, +30 during the day, +23 at night, a few yellowed leaves, next time I water her I will give her Espom salt so that she absorbs more magnesium, despite the high heat everything else looks good :) good luck to everyone.
