6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

16 Diciembre: El runoff ha alcanzado los 10EC, las plantas siguen creando puntos de floración con espacio internodal corto, gracias al stress generativo, están de 80~85cm de alto aprox. Hay una sola planta que tiene más de 90cm. En unos 2 días más se alcanzarán los 21 días de floración, ese día se hará una defoliacion grande y Lollipop, después de esa defoliacion se volverá a riego vegetativo para estimular el engorde de los cogollos. 18 Diciembre: hoy la EC del runoff alcanzó los 12EC, mañana se harán más disparos de riego para bajar la EC del sustrato. Hoy también se realizó una defoliacion agresiva + Lollipop, para que haya mejor penetración de luz en el Canopy y mejor flujo de aire. Queda solo una semana de riego Generativo, después de eso se vuelve al riego vegetativo para engordar los cogollos.

I’m using KIS organic a soil with fermented inputs and water soluble calcium, I’m using a KNF bloom and FPJ for nitrogen, and aloe for vitamins, and humic and amino acids. NO chemical fertilizers

Another week closer to the finish line and the Chicken N' Wafflez continued to mature beautifully. Temperatures remained stable at 24°C during lights on and 20°C at night with a steady 50% RH, creating a comfortable environment for late flower development. 🌱 The most noticeable change this week was the continued increase in resin production. The buds and sugar leaves became even more coated in trichomes, giving the plant a frosted appearance from top to bottom. ❄️ The fade also progressed significantly, with deep purple tones spreading across much of the foliage and adding a lot of visual appeal. 💜 Bud development continued as well, although the flowers seemed to stack more vertically than expand outward. While they did gain some additional mass, the most obvious change was their increased length and structure rather than overall width. The main cola especially continued to build upward and now stands out as an impressive spear-shaped top. 🔥 Feeding remained very simple this week with only water and CalMag. Water consumption stayed consistent, showing that the plant is still actively transpiring but has likely entered the final stages of maturation. 💧 The aroma profile is becoming more defined. Alongside the sweet jam-like notes, a subtle spicy character has emerged, backed by a light gassy undertone. The combination creates a rich and unique scent that becomes more noticeable every day. 🍯 Trichome development is progressing nicely, with the majority now appearing milky while a smaller portion remains clear. Harvest is getting closer, but there is still a little room left for the plant to finish ripening. ✨ Overall, Week 12 was defined by increased frost, stronger colors, continued bud stacking and steady maturation. The Chicken N' Wafflez is looking healthy, highly resinous and is shaping up to be a very attractive late-flower plant. 🌿

17-4-2021 ON FIRE : Wow what a good growt last week was crazy and what a big ass leafs! holy shit.. i think im gonna push the nutrions up 2 650PPM instead of the 550PPM now.. also still not in flower so that is good ! i only use the fish mix and still not biogrow i will do that the second week of flower, its very uniform so thats also great to see... i think im going to do some leaf stripping tommorow because thats needit ...i will do it strategic to minimalize the stress

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is measured in decisions, not dreams. Dopamine release is not the pursuit of happiness; it's the happiness of the pursuit. "Mens Dei" Cannabis buds can expand or swell in warmer conditions, but this is not necessarily a desirable effect. High temperatures can cause the buds to become airy and loose, reducing their density and potentially impacting potency and aroma. First 4 weeks flower, blazing hot expansion of buds, 4 weeks after cool off? Why?? What can be made to expand, airy and loose, can also be made to contract, dense and tight. Why? Trichomes do not discriminate, although we like to think of trichomes' primary purpose as being to get us high; they are there to provide photoprotection (sunscreen). Trichomes apply themselves based on area dimensions; the more area = the more trichomes in order to protect. Different from density: Trichomes, the resinous glands on plants, are often produced in response to stress, including high light intensity. This increased production can lead to denser trichome coverage on the plant, stress, stress, stress, stress is the signal. There is a certain beauty in watching the large water-filled buds once swollen to the brim slowly shrink during drying, as the surface areas contract, the trichomes just cluster up to form denser and denser coatings, already dense from high light intensities, UVB exposure, and IPS, and every other stressor I could tweak. Trichomes, the resinous glands on cannabis plants, are often produced in response to various forms of stress. These stresses can be environmental, like excess light(HIL) or UV-B radiation, temperature fluctuations, or drought, or mechanical, such as wind, pruning, or even the weight of the plant's own buds. The plant reacts to these stressors by increasing trichome production as a defensive mechanism to protect itself and its valuable compounds like THC and CBD. In essence, cannabis plants perceive stress as a threat and respond by producing more trichomes as a way to protect themselves and their valuable compounds. Several studies have shown this. Not so much a "master" grower as a master of stress. Psssst. Tip. Trichomes fill with "antioxidants," including THC. Ant"ox"idants, The production of antioxidants in plants is intricately linked to their oxidative apparatus. The plant has limited oxidative capacity/apparatus. During daytime photosynthesis, a large percentage of that oxidative capacity is tied up in protecting the plant. During the night, plants alter their metabolic pathways. This leads to a far more focused production of specific antioxidants, like THC. Plants also produce antioxidants during the day. Excess light, for example, can trigger the production of excess antioxidants as part of their defense mechanisms against reactive oxygen species (ROS). The differential ROS production by blue and IR light can have significant biological consequences. For example, high levels of ROS induced by blue light can lead to cell damage and death, while lower levels of ROS produced by IR light may be involved in beneficial cellular signaling pathways. Long nights under the IR (very low ROS), the boost in cellular respiration, and the boost in energy production. In a perfect world, I'd give the plant a shock treatment of 60DLI in 4 hours and give her the other 20 hours to perform cellular respiration under IR. The stress of those 4 hours would be rigorous and full of stress abound, 1800-2000ppm CO2 is easy for a couple of hours during daylight, it's maintaining it that's hard, but 4 hours is very doable with nothing but a little extra "carbon sugar" in your medium every other night during the first 4 weeks of flower. In my opinion, you only need to jack CO2 for those first 4 weeks of flower to see maximal output, after that it's all about trichome preservation, everything else comes second. Without the temps to assist with metabolism, CO2 is reduced to normal levels along with temps 4-5th week of flower. Buds are primarily composed of water. Developing flower buds, like other plant tissues, require a significant amount of water for growth and turgor pressure, which helps maintain their structure and firmness. Turgor pressure in plant cells is primarily generated by osmosis, but transpiration plays a crucial role in maintaining it. The optimal internal leaf surface temperature for photosynthesis at 1800-2000ppm CO2 is likely in the upper range of 97°F, meaning ambient would need to sit at 102°F-ish or thereabout for full metabolic utilization. That's putting your transpirational pulling force x5 x6 maybe x7 of what it would be if she were cruising at 68F. "My buds won't fatten, what can I do!!" Crank that bitch. If your purpose was to blow up a balloon as fast as you can, as much as you can, would you use 2x force or x5 Force to do so? Bad analogy, but you get the idea. Kiss. Optimize photosynthesis & VPD by day, cellular respiration by night. TECHNICALLY: "While transpiration and cellular respiration are both ongoing plant processes, they are not neatly separated into day and night. Both processes occur both day and night, though at different rates and with different emphasis. Transpiration, the release of water vapor from plant surfaces, is primarily driven by sunlight and photosynthesis during the day, but it also continues at a lower rate at night. Cellular respiration, which provides energy for the plant, occurs continuously, both day and night. " BUT Only 10% ATP can be processed through photosynthesis and carbon capture. 90% of ATP is processed when the plant's oxidative capacity becomes available (NIGHTTIME). Cellular respiration relies on the process of oxidation to generate energy. Specifically, the final stage of cellular respiration, called oxidative phosphorylation, utilizes oxygen as the final electron acceptor to produce a substantial amount of ATP, the cell's primary energy currency. Several environmental factors can hinder cellular respiration in plants. These include low oxygen levels, temperature extremes (both too high and too low), humidity, water stress, and the presence of toxins. These factors can impair the function of enzymes involved in respiration, disrupt the availability of substrates, or directly damage plant tissues, thus reducing the rate of cellular respiration. Factors such as oxygen concentration, glucose availability and temperature will all impact the amount of aerobic respiration an organism will perform. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 9/8 D65 Seems our "good" weather is ending and if the forecast is correct for the next three days, only three of the last ten were sunny. That aint good folks not sure what can be done about it outside of artificial light and that would go on the ATF if any were available. Ah well learning is fun She looks good just needs some blasted sun Zombie is thriving, go figure Full feed yesterday 9/10 Sunless days continue, maybe two hours sun today then the rain moved in and the temp dropped... global warming my arse The forecasts were correct now I can only hope that continues as it is forecast for much better the next 2 days and then right back to this mess. 9/11 Yep today was a big improvement glad to have it 9/13 Day 70 New vids, top dressing seems to have triggered a new run of bud building on both Gloria and zombie Quasimodo (cant kill some of these Mex Air plants). The moster crop growth pattern is interesting as hell just letting it grow. Gloria looks to be building a basketball bud on top :) Weather degrading harvest in a couple weeks max trics say same

This lady is now officially into bloom, we’ll be giving her a slight cleanup before she goes any further. This plant had a fantastic start.

Her buds are starting to fill in nicely, she is centered now with two nets and has the tent all to her self! Humidity has stabilized recently besides power surges in the room and power outage from a storm. Think it was from the dehumidifier I had in the room outside of the tent. Recently put a 4 pack of vivo sun 24 watt lights under the canopy to help prevent popcorn buds.

Richtig fett 🤩 Diese Woche noch Vollgas, ab nächster Woche wird der EC runter gefahren um Verbrennungen zu verhindern und die Natürliche Farbgebung zu stärken. Die Pflanze sieht sehr vital aus und die Blütenbildung und vorallem der Geruch sind umwerfend. Jetzt werde ich noch ein letztes mal Blätter entfernen um der Fettung und Reifung der Blüten das beste Milieu zu bieten. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist etwas niedrig aber das ist schon ok, die Pflanze verträgt das scheinbar sehr gut. Demnach habe ich keine Angst, das hier Schimmel entsteht. Frohes growen :)

Alright, I moved her into Homebox Q60+ now and provided some professional light Q3W from Sanlight with 120W full spectrum range. This setup is much better for the plant compared to my setup in 1st week. Now it is also much easier for me to keep stable humidity and temperature. Day 9 - Looks like she recovers from stress I gave her in 1st week. Stem looks quite thin to me - but since I have no experience I can't be sure if it is abnormal for this age or not.

It was a good week just cut down the gran turismo I can’t wait for it to dry and try to smoke a nug it’s so smelly of a plant I bet smoking some wet buds will still taste pretty decent. I will let the rest of it dry and cure for prob 90 days or so b4 I start to smoke on it I wanna let it get to its prime it’s so pretty

Still taking about 2-3L of water each day, feeding ucann bloom every two weeks with worm castings. A little bleaching on the gelato but I just raised the light a few more inches, hoping it’s enough to prevent more. The Coco Melon is short but the buds are looking very compact.
