The plants are still growing beautifully, this week I will plant Power roots and Pure zim, I planted Bud candy, Carboload and Sticky Fingers, I am trying Hammerhead, some ingredients precipitated when mixing, I think Big bud and Carboload I will find out tomorrow when watering and I will plant one of them. Plant 1 and 2 drink 1.5 l, 1.5 dcl will flow out, Plant 3 - 0.5 l and 0.5 dcl will flow out

The plantas get a little bit struck, I don't know what's going on, I will start a new phase off fertilizer from advanced nutrients.

Day 16 Veg: This week has dragged by watching these girls set up for their race. They are smaller than the other strains in general and the quickest to the end of flower so I will be very gentle with their training and height control. The LOS girl took her time to settle down but has now began to catch up and looks a lot better than she did. They have been put on their coco feeds at the lowest rate now so should be ready for their burst for flowering. I top dressed the LOS girl#1 with life-cycle to get her bennies moving quicker and have given the pots a decent watering too. They will get a fimming I think as I don't want to stunt their height at all as they are going to be shorter than the other strains. now begins the long wait till the next update.!. lol

Aug 31: Fast. I got home from work today and could see a notable increase on the flowers. Very exciting. Sep 2: plants are fine but we’re having yet another bad air day due to wildfire smoke. The red tint on the photos is due to smoke. This is pretty bad, but it was worse a few times in May. It’s supposed to clear later this weekend. Sep 3: still smoky but rained a bit which helps. Gorilla Cookies has the best flowers but also seemed to catch the most rainwater in the buds. Gave each branch a shake to help prevent problems. Sep 4: soil is holding water since the last compost tea. This reduction in infiltration rate can happen apparently, and the trick is to not overwater it. It’s also cool today so minimal water used. Sep 5: cool today with gusty winds that blew over Bruce and Gelato. Small footprint of the 5 gallon bag isn’t quite big enough to be stable when plant is this big. Trade off with using a more easily moved size, and that should also help promote early flowering.

Plant took well to topping, mainlining, and heavy defoliation and bounced back right away. Stretched quite a bit during flower and stayed relatively uniform. Could have probably top dressed every 2 weeks instead of 3 and leaf to calyx ratio was also a bit more on the leafy side but still produced some nice buds. Overall an easy grow without any issues.

Veg8, siguen creciendo bien, todavía quedan 2 plantas por sacrificar, lo decidiré en el próximo riego. Veg9, ya se seleccionaron las 9 plantas, se sacrificaron las últimas 2. Veg10, riego con 0.7 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 1.0 EC y 6.6 pH, se tendrá que seguir bajando el pH de los siguientes riegos, las plantas han estirado un poco más, en unos 2 días se hará transplante a los maceteros definitivos. Se planea hacer LST, pero ya que los nodos están muy juntos, si no estiran mucho tendré que hacer Main Lining. Veg11, nada significativo. Veg12, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 5.5, drenaje 1.0 EC y pH 6.5, plantas listas para transplante dentro de los próximos días, se comienza a mezclar el sustrato para los maceteros definitivos. Veg13, dia de transplante, sustrato con 50% de turba y 50% de vermiculita(sílice), se agrego dolomita para subir el pH del suelo a 5.5~5.8 y además la dolomita agrega calcio y magnesio al suelo, también se agregó yeso agrícola al sustrato el cual es de liberación lenta y agrega calcio y azufre. Al momento del transplante se rocía directamente las raices con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, además se espolvorea great white, una ves puesta en el nuevo sustrato, se riega con 1.2 EC y 5.5 pH, de micro, grow y bloom, además b-52, etc. Veg14, nada significativo, siguen creciendo bien, en unos 2 días más haré Main Lining.

At Day 33 we started with defolation. They seem to be very healthy, although there are fungus gnats. The Ladies have no problem with it. You already can see the preflower in the last pictures. Next step will be to send them in the Flower Stage and turn up the lights

This chocolope took to the LST well. The buds have swelled to massive proportions, I am more than impressed with my first dedicated photo grow. I am definitely a dna genetics fan for good!

-Sorry I missed a week as I left town for vacation, luckily I had someone to check on them -I've been feeding once a week about 2 gallons each -I water whenever the top couple inches is dry but its been raining almost every other day so I've barely watered them -I've been using straight tap water (municipal) without dechlorinating. I was dechlorinating for 3/4 and using the 4th as a test, it showed no ill effects so I decided to not waste my time and just send it. I'ts been 2 weeks and no negative signs (touch wood) so I'll continue -I used Promix-HP as my medium, its pretty light and the girls are getting pretty tall. When I got home from my vacation I noticed they were all leaning to one side. I assumed they were leaning towards where they get the most sun so I spun them around. Doing so I noticed that they were leaning because they were top heavy and the medium wasn't dense enough to provide sufficient support. I set up the perimeter wire as you see to provide additional support and tied the stalks up with stakes. They seem pretty sturdy now. -Been getting some hot and humid days here in Ontario and they keep stretching, I'm curious as to how big they'll get before flower. -Oh and the Auto White Widow from my previous grow was planted in my flower bed and its still just vegging, hopefully it'll flower with the rest. I'm about to give her another major haircut.

Así que por lo seguro y porque las temperaturas en Mayo ya se encuentran tirando a lo veraniego, es llegada la hora de empezar a plantear el cambio de ciclo lumínico y tirar de la floración. Si es verdad que pudiéramos arrastrar el ciclo de 18/6 más unas tres semanas y esperar al casi medio medio de crecimiento vegetativo para con eso tener un cultivar con estructura a un grow más foliado, pero la estructura de la planta es quien al final dita las reglas y en una semana, iremos a cambio de luces de 12/12 a la octava semana de vegetativo, para después tener ocho más en mínimo de floración y las 16/17 semanas finales, con la estructura que hemos trabajado con los toppings y con la defolación de lo no necesario y seguramente tendremos una planta épica. Me planteo desde la tercera semana con un olor muy particular y eso es algo que me tiene en atención máxima cuanto a una posible explosión de aromas en la área de grow. Esta temporada ya en una parte de mi apartamento tengo conectado un ozonizador que resulta muy efectivo con los olores y será importante cara a la floración de la amiguita "serpiente enplumada". Después y como podéis ver en las fotos y el vídeo que hice, es muy visible que la estructura para el crecimiento de flores se ha echo con maestría y todo lo sobrante en las partes bajas, no sigue ahí. Así que a lo cierto y con dios Jah en el comando, la próxima semana - o sea- el miércoles 17, y justamente con 8 semanas de vegetativo, cambiaremos el reloj a 12/12 y con eso empieza, oficialmente, la floración. Las espectativas las mejores, la forma de nutrirla y regarla, inmejorable y condiciones óptimas para que a mediados del mes de julio, ya la tengamos con flush y lista a secado y con el secado de verano, tendremos un "fumito de la madre hostia que la parió"...como me encantan las fotodependientes y sobretodo lo que me pone loco de alegria, las ecuaciones donde todo lo que haces en el momento x te sale en previsión en el momento y y al final, la z es sobretodo la calidad de otro nivel que se obtiene...las automáticas son bromas si las comparamos a lo maravilloso que la expresión de las fotodependientes te termina dando. Week 8, probably the last week of Veg , it will depends on how the main tops are gonna grow compared to the side shoots that are supposed to fill up the inner holes. If the plants redirect their energy in the shoots instead of the main tops I could be able to add another week of Veg , plants have been ScrOG’ed and shaped for this but after all they will decide by their own if they fill that the main tops are to low to catch the male pollen they will send the energy in the side shoots to get a chance to catch it ! Plants grows for only one purpose, to reproduce ! And the Cannabis has an maniac obsession to reproduce this is why it makes it so resilient ! And this why it gets twice bigger in just 2-3 weeks when it stretch. So, if you’re reading this my friends, you will understand that the time to prepare your girls for the stretch is now ! Starting to bump the feeding mix with some Veg nootz preparing them for the battle as they will use a lot of Nitrogen ! And for the ones who are just looking the pictures like if this diary was a comic book, they still won’t understand why their plants are getting yellow in middle of flowering when roots doesn’t absorb Nitrogen anymore as they will only concentrate on P-K (Mg/Sulfur) and getting doomed with no solution to fix it. Sta procedendo bene ma è molto lenta eppure è carica di nutrienti ma il giusto per non bruciarla. Speriamo aumenti di marcia ed esploda con bellissimi fiori. Speriamo bene dajeforte growers.

Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.
