Despite colder-than-ideal temperatures, the Zamnesia Runtz seedlings are showing their strength and determination. Here’s how things are looking: Environment Stats • Daytime Temps: ~18°C • Nighttime Temps: ~14°C • Humidity (RH): ~60% • Root Support: Heating mat keeping the root zone warmer, ensuring the seedlings stay cozy even when ambient temps drop. Growth Update • All five phenos (labeled Runtz #1–5) have sprouted and are now showing their first leaves. • Growth is slow due to the low temperatures, but the Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae is proving to be an amazing medium—supporting healthy roots and steady development. • No nutrients yet, just plain water, allowing the seedlings to establish themselves naturally in this excellent soil. Faith in the Pheno Hunt I’m holding onto the dream of finding that special passion-fruit pheno I adored in the past. It’s still early days, but I believe in the magic of this strain and the promise each seed holds. Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 32g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently only at 61%RH inside. I let them dry too long :( They felt really dry when I took them out, min. 2-3 earlier would've been better. Slowly bringing them back up in humidity. Adding Bovedas soon. Burping every day for couple of minutes. Buds are small and dense, just like I remembered them. Also their smell is very familiar, hashy and strong. Getting better by the days. I dream of them becoming small hash balls, aaaaah 😍 Depending on how well they smoke (worried because of drying too long), I will make them into oils or press them into something. I am happy with this grow and look forward growing her again, seeing an all new side to her. She has beautiful colors and hair, really surprised me with her beauty while trimming. I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 10 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was way too dry after all those days 😱 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 8 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 65% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. Some details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 10. Feb. 2020 - 85 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Hash; Massive swolen calyxes; Lots of green leaves until the end. Chop on 10. Feb 2020 - 266g (stem on) Put in pot in Dry Tent Darkness for 48 hours. (50% humidity & 20°C/68F) Total wet - no trim - 266g Total wet - slight trim - 244g //Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 180g with little trim went in Total dry - trim - 24g //Low and slow dry in fridge // 46g went in paper bags in fridge (forgot one bud in the hang dry box) Total dry - trim - 8g Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry. Hello colleagues 😍 The growth continues, and all three plants show good potential. One of the plants is ahead of the other two, but it obviously has a different phenotype - this is visible both by the shape of the leaf and by the color (small spoiler - I did not add mycorrhiza to this particular pot). By the end of the week, the growth slowed down significantly, almost stopped - it turned out ideal given the size of my box. She looks a little bit thin and tall but that's ok - even if I topped her to get more bushy. I guess my tent is just too small. She still looks great, I think 😻

I am officially in flush now! I love how far I have come with these girls! They have started to plump up nearly the size of 2 clipper lighters in width! The smell is so sweet and after the touch you can smell the caramel all through it! I can’t wait to taste!

Week 3 day 7. Buds are getting icey and stretching around 1-2” a day. Dropped the carboload and is going to be replaced by a PK booster (big bud). Watering everyday. Plain RO on every 3rd water. The kind LED is pissing on the hps if im being honest. Bud development and vigor seems a lot nicer. Stay baked.
