~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. 7/4- 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and beautiful lady! She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. 2-3 buds were moldy so i had to cut them hope it doesnt spread further😳 to be honest i havent seen more beautiful flower than this purple one❤️

Que hay familia os traemos la 3 semana de nuestras green ak xL, y es que están bastante sanas, tuve que atar las puntas a las esquinas por que la altura se nos fue de las manos. Tienen muchos brazos laterales, que espero que en unas semanas sean largas colas de flores. Ph controlado y humedad dentro de los parámetros aconsejables, regamos cada 2 días, y todos los riegos llevan nutrientes. Esta variedad me tiene personalmente desconcertado, es bastante sensible a los cambios así que procuramos tenerla en una rutina alimentaria y lumínica sin nada de cambios, veremos cómo apremia en unos meses.

Unfortunately I lost some of my timelapse footage and the harvest shots of the plants hanging, so I only have the week 10 pictures left.📸 Still, this run with Ztrawberriez Auto was smooth and very enjoyable.🌿💚 All three plants finished in about 11 weeks from seed to harvest. The aroma and taste came out pretty much the same across the whole run, sweet, fruity with that little pink pepper twist, a really unique profile.🍓 #1 was the biggest and most compact of the three, with very dense, stacked flowers.💪🔥 #2 and #3 produced slightly fluffier buds, but still frosty, aromatic and with great bag appeal.🌸 I gave them all 48 hours of darkness before chop, then trimmed and hung them up. After 9 full days of drying they were ready for trimming and went into jars for curing. The final result: beautiful, resinous flowers, consistent in flavor, with some variation in bud structure but overall great quality 😍. Even without the missing footage, this run left me more than happy 🌟🌿

06/12/23 - Day 0 Here we go again!! After a successful run of 3 strains, I've decided to pop a 3 pack of MilkyWay F1 from RQS. 3 seeds are in a wet paper towel, inside a plastic sandwich bag, into a dark warm cupboard. Im hoping they all germinate!! LET'S GROW!!! 08/12/23 - Day 2 from seed All 3 seeds have cracked and tap roots have come out, so i've put them in the peat pots. I mixed coco coir and perlite at 70/30. I've also decided to add a teaspoon of DYNOMYCO’s Mycorrhizae in each little pot too. 10/12/23 - Day 4 2 out of 3 have sprouted, the 3rd isn't too far behind. 11/12/23 3 out of 3 are out and thriving!! we're well within schedule and we're off to a very good start!! 12/12/23 - Day 6 I've decided to move all 3 into their final pots today! I'm using Plagron AllMix in 12L pots with a nice big drip dish. Into the tent they go!!!

Welcome to week 22 of my grow diary. It rained at the beginning of the week. On Monday and Tuesday I only left the plant outside for half a day and when it rained I put it in the garage so that the buds wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately, in this weather there is a high risk that the flowers will start to mould. Most of the trichomes are now milky. See you next week ✌️
