It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy. As per usual this plant tells me it needs watering by looking limp, it doesn't mean the pots are dry it just means its demanding more water. We're gunna need a bigger tent!

Still HOT and Sunny with no end in sight. Noticing that pre-flower stretch over the last week, she's towering over me now well over 7 feet tall. Nothing but drip every 5 days and she's thriving. Still amazed in this heat she can go that long without water. Raspberries are plentiful this year, watermelon's coming in beside her and my favorite Himalayan blackberry's are next in the back. Invasive maybe, but an absolute island favorite I've managed to tame.

Big defoliation this week, first week of 12/12. Then a rest week. Week 4F will be a big defoliation. Really excited for what’s to come. This has been super easy with build a soil and will Be using their products/recipes for years to come.

The bottom buds were done and getting amber, I thought of partial harvesting but the math didn't match and leaving the main cola didn't make sense so I chopped her down. Will be back 3 weeks after she's dried with the smoke report

Thanks again to RQS for providing the genetics for another diary! It's been another fun run. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. I appreciate every one of you 👊✌️🤙 Once she was down, her fan leaves were cut off and each branch was hung in the drying box and left to dry for 8 days. It was left in a cool dark place to slow drying time. Once the outer leaves were dry her buds were given a close trim and jarred for curing. I put a 62% boveda pack inside to ensure the humidity is stable during curing, although it's not crucial. The jar is burped once a day for a few days and then left approx a week inbetween the next couple of openings. After 3 weeks or so, you don't have to worry about burping if you wish to store for a while, or you can tuck right in like I do! Because I have 4 seperate quarters for other plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 sections in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. If you multiply by 4, it gives you the average amount for a full tent worth. Happy growing! 🦊

Our Slurricane have germinated at the speed of light, I put one first that you see big now that it will be worked with the topping x16 buds and another small one just germinated, freed from the placenta and beautiful as ever. Let's learn to solve placenta problems, if the plant remains too long in the condition you see in the photo it dies or gets permanently damaged it is essential to recognize this problem just in time and solve it with the utmost delicacy. Just remove it being careful not to remove the plant from the soil by stretching it delicately and/or helping yourself with something precise to remove it from the cotyledons and let the leaves open as you can see in the following photos. When the seed remains attached it is nice to take photos and reels, very cute but do it quickly and remove the placenta with the utmost delicacy you can in short. It always happens so learn to do it it is not an enthetic defect I recommend not to confuse things, it happens in percentage to the plants that you do to me at 2/4 out of 20/25 seeds more or less. We do not let them die it is a small skill to have though. Slt, nous sommes à la fin de la 2ème semaine. Les plantes semblent se developer normalement. Il y a un léger décalage entre les pieds due au retard pendant la germination, mais sans conséquences pour la suite. J’ai noté tout de même une très légère brûlure sur une ou deux feuilles, probablement due à un démarrage trop tôt en nutriments, à corriger pour les prochaines sessions. J’ai aussi baissé de 5% l’humidité, je suis passé de 70% pendant la 1ère semaine à 65% pour la 2ème. Maintenant je vais stabiliser à 60% pendant toute la période de croissance. Pour l’arrosage, je n’ai presque pas arrosé pendant les 2 premières semaines, ou vraiment très légèrement avec un peu de pulvérisations foliaires. Maintenant j’arrosage avec 0,50cl par pots, je pense 1 fois ou 2 par semaines, je verrais, et j’augmenterais petit à petit avec la croissance. Voilà c’est à peu près tout pour cette semaine...
