Week 27 from seed and a lovely cool 18c this morning... Apart from the bud hungry bugs eating the plant, she does have some amazing bud development. Never seen a pure sativa close up before and always thought the buds would be thinner, although quite airy they are fat buds nonetheless. No signs of seeds either which I am surprised about with it being landrace late in flower.. She is quite sticky and the smell is beginning to come through the buds more. The smell reminds me of citrusy freshness, fruity/sweet. The test smoke I've had is really enjoyable and pleasant. The high is very clear with a fruity taste on your throat. I would say the high makes me more active in and around the garden as apposed to hybrid or indica flower. I cannot wait to smell and taste it when it ripens. If the bugs back off I will let it go 2-3 more weeks possibly but they're munching fast. Only 10 main tops left on the plant.. Spotted 2 types of praying mantis on the plant so hopefully less bugs now... we well see. Next season I will grow again but underneath an anti-bug net.. she had so much potential to be absolutely huge but bugs have not stopped attacking for 7 months! Still a nice plant but it can do much better here.

The seedlings in their rockwool cubes were planted into high quality soil in clear (to monitor root development) 140mm pots. The seed raising soil was first sterilised with boiling water and cooled then Mykos root enhancer was added. The clear pots were then placed into a black pot to keep light from getting to the roots. Each plant was then placed into larger white pot to reflect light and heat, with a clear dome placed over them to maintain humidity. The lamp used was a cheap 1400 lumen warm white LED spotlight from the local hardware, set to 16-8. No watering was done for many days as the soil was saturated from the sterilisation.

Day 91 - Started week 14 off with 2 gallons of plain pH’d water. It’s looking like this will probably be her final week and she’ll get the chop this coming weekend. I’m still thinking I’m not going to do a full harvest, I’ll chop the main buds and such and see if I can get the lower popcorn shit to fatten up. This is one of the best plants I’ve grown to date and want to maximize as much of her as I can. Day 92 - She’s getting really close now, I can almost taste her. Thinking about chopping most of here either Friday or Saturday. Buds are nice and dense and wanna get the lower popcorn to fill in after chopping the main colas. Not seeing much for amber trichs but there’s a few in there and she’s all cloudy other than that. Day 93 - Gave her 2 more gallons of plain water today and that will probably be it. She will be getting chopped this weekend and gonna let her dry completely up before cutting. Starting to show quite a bit of amber trichs so she’s ready, just holding out till Friday.

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

(EN) Rainy and cloudy weather continues, but temperatures are rising. On day 30, I spray a solution of nettle manure at 200ml/L of water on the leaves and stems of plants in order to remove and kill potential parasites (red spiders, mealybugs) and also prevent certain diseases such as late blight. I think I repeat this treatment every 2 weeks. Watering with clear water on the same day (approximately 600mL per plant). I prepare the soil to transplant plants into open ground soon, with 20L of universal soil, 20L of surrounding soil and 1L of perlite. (CAN) Le temps pluvieux et nuageux continue, mais les températures remontent. Le jour 30, je pulvérise une solution de purin d’orties à 200mL/L d’eau sur les feuilles et les tiges des plants afin d’éloigner et de tuer les potentiels parasites (araignées rouges, cochenilles) et également prévenir certaines maladies comme le mildiou. Je pense répéter ce traitement toutes les 2 semaines. Arrosage à l’eau clair ce même jour (environ 600mL par plant). Je prépare le sol pour transplanter prochainement les plants en pleine terre, avec 20L de terreau universel, 20L de terre environnante et 1L de perlite.

They look more dense and tastier than my first try, i really want to taste them to compare the dfference between this grow and the previous one. Today i bought a new tent, ballast and lamp, so i'll start the next grow tomorrow 😋 i don't need to wait for plant to be dry before start a new grow now o/ Thanks for your support and see you next week !

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. Fourth week at 12/12 🌷 She's starting to show his future gifts, hopefully super tasty and powerful.. For now it promises well 💪👌 She has also start makes her first trichomes and already smell lovely a little bit 😋 I must need to say the true about her and on his sister , also her in limited edition.. They surprising me , I wasn't expect this vigour.. Also because I don't see other growers growing this genetics , and so , I really don't know what she comes out at the end 🙌 But for now I'm really happy and I think she is happy too.. Definitely she is in healthy form , and the fast flowers and also resin production it's a good sign. She costantly pray her God ( name'sBlack-Dog ) because every time I looking her she has always the leafs up 🙏☀️😁 She's really devoted plant And also his sisters.. I don't think they become nuns ⛪ But definitely they can help me to better find the way to Heaven 🧘‍♂️ Leaving aside these stoner thoughts.. From this week I have started to give her only regular water about three times a week.. And for two times I have add molasses ( not sulphurate ) Like I say in all previous weeks , she take what her need from the Living soil whit high-brix recipe then I made More info in the first few weeks , but I also want to write in the harwest exactly any form of nutrients I have use for create this envrioment.. I think can be intresting for somebody wants to grow in different way Im not a expert grower , a soil scientist or somnthingh like that, I just have passion and wants to know the best way to do things , in this case about our green lovley 💚 And I find it's a cool way growing like this 👌🔥 Anyway..
