I've grown 7 different varieties of feminized photo periods from Humboldt seed company now and the results have left me with mixed feeling about the seed bank. Every grow from Humboldt seed company has come with issues, such as bad germination rates, strange growth, weak plants, and Hemihedrites. On the other hand I've harvested some great flower from their genetics. Poddy Mouth was easy to grow with lots of strong side branching that will support the weight of the buds. These plants are easy to maintain I didn't Top or do any kind of training with these girls just some defoliation in veg and once in flower. 5 of 6 seeds germinated on this run I ended up culling 3 of the 5 plants by the end of the grow. Tossed 1 plant a few weeks into veg for stunted and strange growth. I culled two more plants 3-4 weeks into flower because they hermed on me. This variety of cannabis is a heavy feeder and extremely thirsty. These plants stand out in the garden and have fantastic bag appeal and easy buds to trim. The flavor and aroma profile is very pine forward on this cultivar It reminded me of the power of pine-sol baby. these buds are coated with trichomes and extremely sticky with a smooth smoke and potent effects.

Decided to cull all 4 Mango Sherbets at the end of week 6 veg. All four of these plants had strange growth since day one that I didn't like. I wanted to give these girls a chance so I grew them out hoping for the best. As each new week went by I would notice some deformed growth and variegation on the leaves here and there. When I got deeper into veg leaves started to overlap and branches were growing out to lateral for my liking. There is several reasons as to why they could have been exhibiting some of these traits, but I feared they could be infected with pathogens. So i decided to destroy these plants to avoid contamination.

Chopped these ladies after 60 days of flowering. These plants produced some very tasty buds! There was not much difference in taste between the two plants. They both taste sweet with citrus undertones and a very smooth smoke. These girls were good for smoking right after drying and a breeze to trim! Although the terps were on point the flower was not very frosty or potent and lacking density. these traits are something you expect from a legendary strain like Northern Lights. I chucked my mother plants as well because they started to flower in veg under a 18/6 light schedule. I'm not sure if it was my growing methods or the genetics from Royal Queen seeds, this take on Northern Lights really missed the mark for me.
