06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Day 86, 5th of December 2020: Craziest group I have ever had... Honestly I just want to see the end. I will be away for 2 weeks almost. Original Sensible Seeds ladies are dope. Gelato is very nice proper shape one of my favourite she is just nice and not problematic.... :) Runtz Gum is amazing nice big buds are on the way really nice! The same no problem with her at all!!!! Do-Si-Dos OG is just crazy.... She is not an easy lady... problematic... never met a plant like this one. ... Too much strech and now I need to tie and stand her up somehow i broke one branch.... I put a tape arounf so hopefully saves that bud tho....🤣 Her flowers kill her lol Black Ghost OG is sweet and good girl she is the easiest player from them she is good for begginners similar to Wedding Gelato even is shape haha.... Wedding Gelato from RQS is just perfect no problem with her at all... good for begginners as well... :) So This is how it is 5th week has started I just wanna get it done really long journey :) The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.

Another week! We are closer to the harvest but not much. It rained almost the full week and the majority of pistils turned brown. I could not water with my biobizz and bloombastic. Lucky hat I put coco on them.

I really loved growing this strain. It was easy and stress-free. She seemed to be quite resistant to pests (my tent had a thrip invasion and it didn't seem to affect her too much). I will definitely grow it again in the future. Amazing tropical and fruity fragrances, I don't even know if I will be able to wait until it's cured before I can try it. It grew short and stout, almost buds only. I reckon it could have been a bigger plant if I would have started it under the Mars Hydro instead of on my balcony. Next time I'll do better 🙏 Overall great genetics from RQS, highly recommended! 🙌 **SMOKE REPORT UPDATE after a long and nice cure** The flavour is exactly what you would expect based on the delicious fragrance. Happy uplifting high. It's probably one of my favourite strains and it will most certainly come back in my grow tent.

I had such a good response applying raw aloe very gel to the silver haze, just look at this weeks pics compared to last weeks. You can clearly see the difference. Aloe is high in beneficial enzymes and growth factors and more importantly an excellent source of silica. Cannabis flower, specifically the trichomes are made up of between 78% and up to 86% silica depending on the cultivar, so far only a small number of cultivars have been tested. However its clear that cannabis flowers NEED silica. Silica will also help with drought tolerance, it will armour your plant against pests, it will help the plant with transpiration, it will make water transport much easier for the plant, freeing up energy for other things like flower production. Also, If used as a foliar spray once a week in veg, it will help tighten up node spacing. So if you want those frosty buds make sure you have silica readily available for your plants.

Starting with clear, then cloudy, then amber. --- Currently, my personal preference is around a 20% to 35% amber to cloudy ratio with little to no clear. As for texture, prefer greasy over grainy trichome heads. - [19:53]: Using a pair of trimmers, I gently clipped a small bud sample from each plant. --- All samples were cut within the mid-canopy (in-between the scrog nettings). --- Using a USB microscope (attached to my phone), I carefully examined each bud sample for trichomes. - [19:57]: First Chill Out OG #2, --- Trichomes were looking mainly cloudy with some clear. Surprisingly could not find any amber. --- On the finger rub, the trichome texture was sticky and grainy with a grape-vitamin earthy terpene profile. - [20:14]: As for Heady OG BX1 #1, --- Trichome heads were looking about the same with mainly cloudy with a bit of clear. --- On the finger rub, the trichome texture was greasy with a lemon-pine-sol gasoline terpene profile. - [20:21]: Last but not least, for TKO #2, --- Trichome heads were looking about the same as the rest with mainly cloudy with clear. I had a little trouble this week Plants 1 and 2 are still droopy and the fungus gnats seem to be getting worse. I wasn't sure if it was overwatering or not enough nutrients. So I let them dry out for 4 days and noticed it got worse. So it probably was not overwatering. On day 56 I top dressed Plants 1 and 2 with some left over Nature's Living Soil. I used 2 tablespoons each and added 4 cups of Root's Organic soil also since the pots have settled a little. Then I gave all the plants a good watering. Hopefully after a few days they will perk back up. On day 55 I added sticky cards to each pot to keep an eye on how many fungus gnats I have. There was quite a few after just one day but I noticed less in the tent. I read some posts on Nature's Living Soil and another on air-pots. It seems like others have had nutrition problems with Nature's Living Soil if they went longer than a month of vegging, which would explain my issue. The other post about air-pots said fungus gnats love them since they can attack the soil from all sides instead of just the top layer. Apparently if you let the top layer of soil dry out well in normal pots the fungus gnat problem mostly goes away. But when using air-pots the top layer of soil might dry out but they can still get to the moist soil from the bottom or sides.

2nd time growing this strain. Was the best of the bunch last harvest under a cheap 300W LED drawing ~100W from the wall yet still gave me over 4oz Hoping under this brand new Spider Farmer SF-4000 I'll get much more. Just fed plain water in week 1.

Day 105- So we are on week 8 of flower as of 2 days ago. Day 105 from seed. I watered both plants today with Jack's. I'm hoping this is the last time with nutes for at least one of the girls. My sativa has mostly cloudy trichomes so I'm going to start flushing her after this. I'm thinking she will be where I want her to be in a week. Maybe a tad longer. I'm waiting out the indica a little while longer because I'm shooting for a decent amount of amber. I can see the finish line What a major learning experience. So humbled to share this journey with you all. Not a perfect grow by any means but I hope to use this knowledge and crush my second grow. Day 109- Started 36 hours of dark at 5:30am Day 110- Trimmed and hung. What a ride it has been! Can't wait to update with a dry weight.
