Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Things are growing great in here. Not too many yellowing leaves for 6 weeks of flowering so far. I got some pollenating done with 2 different Kosher Haze males. The males were a little taller than I was hoping for but both had a great smell and were very resinous to the touch. All the Kosher Haze males have been cut down and have been put in the compost. You can see the difference in the pollenated buds by the brown stigmas. In the wide angle shots you can see the white tags marking the lines holding the pollenated buds up. At harvest time I can let these marked branches grow a little longer if the seeds aren't mature yet. We shall see then. I still have 1 Lemnesia male left that I like and It will be put in the smaller greenhouse with a Pink Kush and a Nova OG to make seeds in a week or 2. The Pink Kush and the Nova OG are in their 3 week of flowering in the greenhouse now. Ok can't think of anything else. Have Fun. Chuck.

So I thought the plants was going to be a flop but they turned it around, really long time tho for a auto flower, I could of ran photos with a better yield, but never the less these look like 10/10 nugs and smell amazing i can't wait to see how these look dried off.

This new week since the soil is a soil improver specifically formulated for lawns, its task is to keep the pH around 8 and stabilize, there is peat that also acts as a buffer, I did a flush giving 2 liters of water since the vase is 3.2L at pH 5 to balance it with the runoff pH which is pH 8, since the pH is 8 the plant is unable to take nutrients as it should and therefore problems with curled leaves begin, which discolor, lose vigor (I wanted to do this experiment also for those who are new to it)

i started to intensify the feeding schedule as for Biobizz and i notice a nice stretch of the plant, in the last 15days she grew almost 20 cm which is good news. i struggle to have decent light outdoor but she is doing her best . the bud growth is not impressive to not say quite slow nonetheless i hope there will be a fast build up toward the last weeks , there is still plenty of time. My cat is still chewing on my plant from time to time, i think he understood that i care about it and every time is upset with me he takes a chunk off it.

Starting the 2nd week of vegetation! So far everything is looking very good! The hydro plant is lacking behind a little bit, that's probably because of the low concentration of nutrients. So today I mixed a new batch with 2ml/L TA Organic Grow, which was recommended on the packaging for the growth phase. The roots look healthy, having reached almost the bottom of the jar already. Day 12: The diagonal leaves are starting to come out for the soil plant. Day 17: The hydro plant continues to fall behind. There is also build-up in the jar. I'll be switching to an anorganic fertilizer later today to hopefully stabilize the plant development.

Bio Tabs NL. vs. Weedefix (Stuttgart/ Germany) Hier im Weedefix Grow haben wir nun nach 66 Tagen des Einpflanzens eine Höhe von 118cm erreicht. Blütetag: 21 (BW3) Nach der dritten Blütewoche, lässt sich eher ein unterschiedliche Performance der beiden Düngersysteme beobachten. Der Stretch bei dieser Pflanze verläuft sehr homogen und alle Triebe sind im Schnitt 118cm hoch. Hier geht der Stretch nicht so in die Höhe. Die Blütenentwicklung bleibt bisher sehr ähnlich. Es bleibt spannend! Diese Woche, habe ich einmal mit Wasser und 5ml Wachstum (Ferment mit Melasse und Hefeextrakten) gegossen. Außerdem habe ich nochmal 4 Tabs für die Blüte in die Erde gesteckt 20g für den 9L Topf. Zudem kamen nochmal 5g Trichoderma von Mack pro Liter Wasser hinzu. Ansonsten nur Wasser. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 4/30 one of the plants has actually visibly stretched more in the last 48 hrs. Starting to impress me with the pistols. Still way smaller than their projections online but whatever 🤷🏽‍♂️ 5/4 end of the week and I’m pretty okay with their size now 😂 they went through a sizable stretch. I’ll have to get my measuring tape back in the tent because each time I’m adding to this diary, I question whether I’m on the right week or not because they look like dwarfs compared to the end of the week
