11/02 - Pre-harvest 109g of wet bud (tare weight of plate 358g). Letting the rest go for some more days. Light lowered to 28cm. 16/02 - Plant fully harvested. Total 209 g wet with all the stem you see on the last pic. Hang drying in 20-21°C, 55-60% humidity. Strong hay smell of the pre-harvest buds, not yet ready. Will update final dried weight later to see the results. 19/02 - After 8 days of drying, the pre-harvested buds have been trimmed & moved to curing stage in jar. 24g dry out of that batch (was 109g wet). Monitoring humidity in the jar to keep around 62%. Still leaving the second harvest to hang and dry 2 more days. 21/02 - Total dried result: 24g nice top buds 13g second grade buds from second harvest 12g loose popcorn buds for edibles Total 49 g / 57 watts 0.86 g/watt ratio. Not too bad, but can and will be improved next run. Lessons learnt: 1. Definitely will build some activated carbon filter to decrease smell. 2. More lollipopping / defoliation on lower parts at start of flower to decrease loose popcorn. 3. More balanced nutes in pre/mid flower to avoid extensive yellowing. 4. Adding bone meal to soil from start to let it degrade fully. 5. Applying 4 times of bottom feed to avoid drying out the bottom of pot. 6. Never let lights closer than 27cm. 7. Maybe try 20/4 schedule. 8. Might let it go beyond week 16 to let trychomes start to amber. Luckily the hay smell is totally gone during the cure. Very happy with the results. Day 65 past nutrition problems I believe have slowed growth. unfortunately on a plant I think I have problems with the compaction of the soil which has caused too much irrigation. the plant does not eat and a little slower than the others. now after 4 days to dry i will give only datpo water which seems to burn for nutrients, i believe brought about by the fact that they are deposited in the soil. all in all they continue to grow and hope for the best! 💚🌱

Not much changed this week.... Trimmed the plants again, removing 70% of the large leafs so the plants can focus on the buds. Also removed all new bud growth too and a few other smaller buds. Aiming to have around 12 buds per plant, fingers crossed. Started using a boost solution along with the feed. Now feed every 2 days. Doing this so that they can dry out between watering/feeding. I’ve sorted out the humidity levels now, however still a little high when lights are off - 58%. Decided to do a 9th week of flowering, but will review this again towards the end of the 8th week. Could do with bring in an heat source for both day and night, temps are around 15 night, and 23 day.

Glücklicherweise waren die letzten drei Tage (ein Abgesang auf den Sommer) sehr sonnig, warm und ausreichend windig, so dass die Shaman trocken geerntet werden konnte. Sie zeigte, wie viele Bäume auch, ein beginnendes Herbstkleid in den Farben des Indian Summers. Einige sehr geringe Schimmelstellen waren vorhanden, hervorgerufen durch mein fehlerhaftes Entblättern. Die Verluste waren jedoch sehr gering. Ich freue mich nun auf die Trocknung und das Curing. Der Rotrim und der Endtrim werden noch einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen, das ist der Nachteil an großen Outdoor-Pflanzen.😀👌 --- The last week was very mixed. Fortunately, the last three days (a swansong to summer) were very sunny, warm and sufficiently windy so that the Shaman could be harvested dry. Like many trees, it showed the beginnings of autumn in the colours of Indian summer. There were a few very small patches of mould, caused by my incorrect defoliation. However, the losses were very small. I am now looking forward to drying and curing. The rotrim and final trim will take a few more hours, which is the downside of large outdoor plants. 😀👌

So with my white widow being a little behind the cream manderin, I could tell that she really wasn’t growing much any more in her 1 gallon pot and though as my first grow, I was going to just run her until finished in there, I could tell that she would really benefit from a larger pot so I grabbed a 5 gallon, laced that bitch up with some mycorrhiza and sent it and guys… She literally bushed right out, stood taller and just got beefy in just days. I’m amazed. They say don’t transplant autos but with risk, comes reward. She took to it so nice and I have zero regrets at this point. Added a net to the whole tent and now we wait boys 🤙🏻🤙🏻

So when seedstockers asked if I wanted to test some 3rd gen genetics I obviously obliged, now having grown a few of seedstockers beans previously I can certainly say I wasn't expecting this, I have topped, lollypopped, cut in half as they outgrew my space twice, super cropped, removed whole branches, double scrog - yes these are autos !!! We have made it to day 42! 31/12/20 All the girls have started flowering now! I'm super keen to see them start to thicken up. Feeding as usual, nothings changed. Update - day 46 04/01/21 I'm a little concerned about the 2 runts that were laggin behind the rest, all of a sudden theyve decided they want to take up most of the room in the tent. I've never grown autos so big.. I was contemplating putting the runts outside but it's just going to make more problems as my outdoors are under attack from some kind of bug. I will keep the diary updated on the runts, other than that the other girls are doing just great, flowering is really coming along. Thanks for stopping by!
