Another week of Veg gone and trying to understand feeding.... My last grow (the one on the balcony) i overwatered at the start so I made sure this time I would not make the same mistake. I dgave a bit more root booster and found some organic Molasses that i added to the 1st feeding. I know its now considered 'food' but more as an activator of microbes in the earth but I'm sure it can't hurt right? Quite some growth this week, so tried to LST it down a bit... Buuuuut I'm not happy with it, I can forsee spacing problems (should have maybe planted the seeds off-set to one side of the pot to get a better growth going....I'll probably undo the tie-down and just let it grow.

Harvest time for Mandarin dreams round 2. Both phenos did amazing during round 2 under the Mars-Hydro TSW2000 light. The buds are incredible and the way these ladies grew was very impressive. Hopefully they are heavy buds, will know in 7-10 days if they have the dry weight to back up their awesome appearance. April 16 update - MD2 - 70 grams, MD1 - 73 grams. Again results are close to round 1. The TSW2000 light delivers!

To be continued....

It was a good week for Night Nurse👍 Now that they're in the ground they're doing much better and putting out more growth. The one on the end could have better color, since her new growth is a bit yellow. I gave her an extra feeding last night after I transplanted some Calendula into the bed since it's a good pest repelling companion. We're getting some much needed rain today🙏 Otherwise there's not much else to report! Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutalđŸ˜” I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

Week 14 complete..and she's still going!! Trichomes are getting there..slowly but surely!! Buds are really fattening up and she smells bloody lovely!! Earthy pine and lemon/citrus. It's just a waiting game now. Just a couple of white pistils left so I'm thinking this could be the week!! But she may still need another..I'm in no rush!! The packet says 10-12 weeks but she's well past that so it shows patience it's extremely important!! Still giving her water at .5l per 24hrs. And when the tricomes are more towards at least 70% milky and the other 30% a mix of amber and clear I'll starve her of water for a couple of days and that should finish her off!! Really looking forward to seeing what the root ball looks like as it should have a crazy mycillium network that should have regulated everything as well as it has!! I'm also adding a short video diary at the end of every week!! --------------- Next I'll be doing either of the following in fully organic living soil..as I've not decided yet - 2 x photoperiod Chocolope by DNA Genetics (Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze) đŸ« or 2 x Tangie Sour by Riserva Privada (East Coast Sour Diesel x Tangie) Thanks for stopping by - feel free to comment, give and feedback and follow - and I'll have another update next week which may be the last!! đŸ€™

Loving this new camera quality! Really brings out the green shine. Anyways they've all been loving the feeding regimen. Two feedings a week with 2 molasses feedings in between seems to do the trick at this stage. Also wanted to mention the height is in reference to the tallest of the three BanDad's. Which is the one I topped surprisingly. For future reference, anybody following a similar formula to my grow will definitely want to top just once around week 2/3. She didn't even take a recovery period, really. Just chugged right back through, 3 days after. Now she dwarfs the other two BanDads quite immensely. Definitely been destroying my initial notion of not topping autos with this one. Cheers everyone!

Welcome to my CBDV diary. Has been blast.. there's so much more to growing a CBD plant, my point is I'm far from where I want to be with the Quality of the end product as far as density goes. (I got the quality part down) she's 1 stinky sticky ass bitch. Wk 9 Day 58-63 Plant was kept on feed till the bitter end. She was confided to the 70cm2 for her last few weeks of life but I've no doubt, if I had of kept her going under the FC 3000 she would of reached deeper down and gave me denser buds on top. There is so much airy ripe bud below I'd say it'll make up for 1/3 of the overall harvest. Which will be quite a lot. Id say in the 80-100g no doubt. She has some major big buds that are stacked with swollen calyexs that are glistening and very sticky. I can she's had enough. I didn't have the light to finish the end that the FC 3000 created on a lot of my autos. On most I clipped it away after I had to confine my plants to their own tents for good. But, she kept eating. Wk10 63-67 I stopped everything nutrient wise. And let her finish the ride out on water until day 67 and she gladly ate what was in her pot and showed no signs of wanting more, so I hard flushed her 1x pot value (11L) and got a ppm of 900ish, so 2x (22ish) more the pot value until it came down to 210. And for 3 more days I left them girls drink what they could from the pot and left them under my 100w where they've lived the past 3-4 weeks and I'm gonna pull them this week, they are resting 30hrs already and then I'll pull them, and harvest them whole, roots and all will be pult and I'll shake the clay off, bag the roots and hang dry upside down, (so no dirt falls on the buds while drying from the roots) and will dry at 55-60 rh with a temperature of 17-19c. I'll try keep the RH around 59 but I'm not gonna worry too much if it differs from that range. I already cut a wee bud off her the today, just a small 1 to try her for taste. And I'll rate it on harvest. As she's low on CBD, I'll rate her on taste. But, she'll be a nice addition to my full THC smoke no doubt. Never really removed any substantial growth from her to even call it a defoliation, there really was no need. I done a decent job at LST and my plants got rotated every day and I pult nodes/leafs this way and that. So, I'm happy with the results. She has a lot of girt and not too much lollipoped with a good amount of CBDV bud in 70 days. Very nice indeed.. Thanks so much for looking at my diary guys. I hope to do better the next time. But, as I am using dry additive powders I'm sure I'll be able to dial in that key nutrient ratio for my CBDS. She's been my biggest auto of this grow. At 71cm tall, and a big ass cola I am very happy. She has a lot of girt and stinks fruits, mainly passion, I'm guessing. As I've learnt, you don't know the true smell of your weed until you get at least a 2 month cure on it. Harvest Day.. Day 70 was done on day 65 then I left as I like my weed little on the harsher side. She very punchy. Has like a deep wood smell but very citruses with hints of tropical fruits. I've harvested 6 autos today. And, its hard to pick up the smell. Very sweet smelling and citrus fruits. (Ill give a more independent smell profile upon the trim and hopefully she'll come into her true smell upon a 2 month cure. As all my bud is given) To my sponsors from kannabia thanks so much for allowing me to try this plant. I've loved growing it. Hopefully I'll do it more justice on my next round of growing it. And, to my sponsor from marshydro, she's a rock star. Thanks very much for all your help. COUPON FOR MARSHYDRO Use code "ggs" at any official marshydro site for a discount. FC 3000 & MARSHYDRO LIGHTS The FC 3000 300w it has a high ppfd 1525 umol/s, 2.85 efficacy and has the new UV addition which brings it closer to the (RA) spectrum, that's the Sun spectrum. The FC-FC-E has this, Also it has a much even PPFD making for a more evenly grown canopy and has a deep penetrative light as it allows you to move the light closer to your canopy with a reduced risk of light stress. The TS versions are a great light to. These are different though. As they have a much higher ppfd in the middle, so I suggest you rotate them plants and move em about to get the best out of the high PPFD And to the community. Much respect for anyone that can grow their own bit of chronic. Fair play to you. Enjoy your harvests and thanks for tuning in. Be sure to drop a like or comment so I can visit your diaries. Either way, thanks for dropping by.

A day early on week five - the girls are coming along nicely. Just leaving them out in the sun and making sure they are not too dry. Started adding some Fox Farms this week. Still contemplating some kind of technique, not sure I want to stress them. Perhaps defoliation? Open to comments. Cheers!

03/15/2021 Reppoting of GSC done I used Bonide(4-10-3) Root&Grow with iba! to lessen shock of transplant and heavy defoliating. Flipping to 12-12 today (the first clones will be for outdoors) made before and after videos of defoliation, and reppot. Blue Dream is cruising along nicely with a little LST bending of branches & stems,so all in all not a bad week..

It’s another week of drooling here damn these are some juicy looking veggies, already dreaming of smoking them!đŸ€€đŸ€€ I feel it’s starting to get to the end of the line for 2 of my OG’s, will feed m 2 more times before I start the flush. Plan to have m around for at least 2 more weeks hope that’s enough to clean m out. Got another OG with a crazy amount of leaf growth. Don’t know what to think of it but it has a great color and will def need a lot more time to develop buds, same package of seeds, same strain, same veg treatment complete different plant đŸ€š 1 gorilla (top middle) had the filter dropped on him and lost the main cola, the rest of the buds seem okay but the little twigs on this plant are way to skinny to keep m up right. The gorilla in the top right corner got too close to the sun, I really thought it was a herma or something but I guess it’s just deformed during a week of extreme temperatures. If ya think I should just chop it off leave me a comment đŸ‘đŸŒ Sooo really dont know if anybody is still reading but I’m gonna split this diary up in 2, I love this site and it would be better to document per strain for my own archive. And the contests only admit 1 strain per diary hehe 😏

Starting week 3 with a plain watering at 6.31. All plants recovered well from topping and are starting to grow much faster. Looking healthy and strong! Planning on some light lower defoliation early this week to get the bottom leaves off the soil. Still very short and bushy. 08/05/2020 - Watered at 6.31 all conditions remaining stable. (Pics) 08/06/2020 - Defoliated the bottom 3 sets of fan leaves. 08/06/2020 - Used green twist ties to begin LST the main branches (Pics) 08/06/2020 - Watered at 6.51 with added nutrients 7 ml between 2L. 08/08/2020 - Took a few more leaves from 3 of the 4 and adjusted tie downs, left 1 alone as she seemed unimpressed with the first defoliation. 08/10/2020 - Watered at 6.49 with added nutrients. 5 ml per 2L. 08/11/2020 - Final transplant into 7 gallon pots, All 4 had solid root growth and were starting to be root bound. I'm glad I did not wait any longer. 08/11/2020 - Watered post transplant with Plain water at 6.43 Used 4L between 4 plants.
