6.11. 2023 4:30 - It is time for a thorough flushing of the RQS genetics with osmotic water and I will use flawless finish from advanced nutrients to force the plant to absorb the remaining nutrients from the leaves. 7.11. 2023 5:00 - Careful observation of the trichomes and their coloration, I plan to harvest the plant when the trichomes start to turn amber. At the moment they seem to be slowly turning a milky colour and seem to be "filling up" 8.11. 2023 4:00 - The leaves seem to be slowly losing colour, especially in one RQS genetics the yellowing is quite pronounced. 8.11 2023 4:30 - I will try to remove all the old dead leaves and the ones that are already letting the plants go, but I will not cut any off, only the ones that can be easily removed. 9.11. 2023 20:00 - I think the trichomes are slowly filling up and harvest time is approaching with each passing day. 10.11. 2023 8:00 - I will try to participate in the competition with my 420 genetics for the best photo just for fun :) i have to take some photos with black background but for now it's just a test i will add some. 11.11. 2023 7:00 - The leaves on all plants are turning yellow but the waste water is still around 1800ppm. The odd thing is there are probably a lot of residual salts in the substrate from nutrients. Hopefully we can get as much of it cleared up before harvest. 12.11. 2023 20:00 - I'm waiting for the trichomes to turn amber. I'll be patient. Most of the trichomes are now snow white, but not all.

9 weeks into this grow. Packing on the mass for sure. Main buds are the size of my hand. The smell hits you hard and is very very strong now. Very happy with the ease of this plant. Still have had no issues whatsoever. I think the plan is to harvest this weekend at 10 weeks total.

*clears throat* NOOB SPEAKING! So I fudged up and just realized that I’ve been using the kool bloom POWDER way too early. Never realized the difference between the liquid and powder. She seems to be doing good and fattening up fine. I’ve never seen a issues from using it too early. Smell fruity, spicy, and sweet.... maybe from the kool bloom being used too lol early I dunno. From what I read it may hurt the yield but with two week left in flower only time will tell 😞 thankfully I know it’s strong so only ever used very small amounts. Thoughts???

7/1/25 already very thick main colas. Does well with drought and humidity and heat. Very strong genetics. Doesnt seem to be finicky or stressed easy. Side note though, She is one that shows cal mag def fairly easily if not given.

seeds: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea → standouts / "otherworldly" These are clearly your current stars — better structure, resin, and overall quality than most of the others you've tried. Auto Flowers: Humboldt Seed Company — best autos you've grown. Extremely resinous, especially the OG Triploid. Top tier for autos. Fast Buds — very close second. Super fast, nice flavors, reliable. You like them a lot but note they're in a different class (not fair to directly compare to Humboldt). Why RQS Strains Underperformed The 7/10 rating and "needed a lot of power to switch to flower" comment is classic for some RQS genetics, especially certain autos or hybrids. Possible reasons: Genetics: Some RQS lines are finicky about light schedules or have slower/more reluctant flowering responses. Mike Tyson 2.0 and Corkscrew apparently needed the 12/12 flip to finally push. Light/Environment: With five tents running, light penetration, spectrum, or intensity might not have been ideal for these particular strains. Autos can be sensitive to stress during the transition. Nutrient response: They may have needed more phosphorus/potassium or different ratios to bulk up properly. The fact that you had to force Corkscrew into 12/12 at week 20 and it's now only "OK" suggests it was a slower or lower-yielding pheno for your conditions. Strong Performers Brothers Grimm → These sound like the real winners in your tent right now. Brothers Grimm has a reputation for unique, high-quality landrace-influenced genetics with excellent resin and flavor profiles. "Otherworldly better" is high praise — they clearly thrive in your setup. Humboldt Seed Company autos → Excellent choice for resin production. OG Triploid is a standout for trichome density. Fast Buds → Reliable, fast, flavorful — a safe, consistent auto line. Recommendations Going Forward Double down on what works: Keep running more Brothers Grimm (especially the ones you loved). Stick with Humboldt for autos when you want maximum resin. Fast Buds for speed and flavor. 3/30 4am Pink Kush CBD is SLOW.... she never really recovered from early problems, I LOVE this strain, smoke and smell are 10/10. Did a little clean up of the lowers. Will let these go for 2-3 more weeks as I have no room in the flower tent and they are healthy— but short and bushy still. No feeing yet. They look good. Very indica with the huge fan leaves

FLOWERS!!!! As expected, the solocup grow made leaps and bounds this week! Flower is upon us!!!! This little girl is beautiful! Heavy stalk, and beautiful flowers! Really looking forward to the end results here! Still no nutes, but I will absolutely be introducing nutes this week! I will see how hard I can push this girl! To the MAX! I changed my light schedule this week to 20/4 from 18/6. Our outdoor Temps are getring lower here in the midwest, and my indoor Temps reflect that. So, more light, means more growth! Also introduced a small amount of low stress training. I will not do much to her since I topped her, just moving bud sites slightly to gather more light. Grow on grow pals!

The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025.
