Week 9 of Critical RQS Day 57 FLUSH WEEK!!!!! I have decided to flush the critical. Normally the critical needs 7 to 9 weeks of flowering and on week 9 . I don't see a lot of white pistils anymore and tricomes are all cloudy and some ambers it's going to be a exiting week. 23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

This was a very pleasant strain to grow!. It kept short, bushy and controllable. It would of yielded more if it wasn't taken over by the sativa dominant love potion, which I'm fine with because I enjoy the variety. I also made a couple newbie mistakes which effected yield and I'm hoping to avoid them next round. It was exactly what I was looking for flavour wise, which I'm very happy about, and they were completely loaded in trichomes and the smell is amazing. The flavour in my vape is exactly how they smell accompanied with earthy taste and a potentcy shutter. This will definitely keep me satisfied until next variety is ready.

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues. Cleaning the tent after watering every time isn't my idea of efficiency 😅 Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Gave it extra week and 2 days dark ending 9 hours day cycle. Very slight pine, kush, and delicious limonene flavor. No skunk or harsh earthyness at all. Will post more pics. Very potent!

Week went well, had a few bug issues that resulted in using a sulphur based pesticide to get rid of spidermite issue that has haunted my grow space for a couple of years. Used only one application to get rid of mites this week, let the application sit on plant for 5 hours before taking outside and rinsing plant off with hose. Edit: 2nd plant was a white rhino seed from my indoor grow but turned out male.

Everything is fine i saw some fading on 2 plants but i think cold weather + molybdenum deficiency caused that purple color so i add some micro elements include molybdenum. this week is warm again and i love it smells like candy but 2 of them got some sour aroma to :) I believe they need more than what breeders say in my climate they say8/9 w but i think at least 10 w they need to mature maybe hot climate causes this

I’ll update ya’ll on the smells and tastes after drying and curing! So far both are packed with ice and smell very potent, a little overpowering still, so I want to give it some time before they’re cures and can show their true terpene profile!

Buds look so frosty this week. She has a little bit of curl in her leaves and also some lighter spots on the edges of some of the big fan leaves. But overall she is looking great and her leaves are so frosty very nice. She has a very nice diesel smell but not as strong as my lemon berry haze plant but it is there, also there is some pine i think and also some sweetness. Very nice watermouthing nice. Buds packing, the buds are quite long, the go to far below the canopy, plant is clearly loving th light. Do your own Microgrow with the Mars Hydro TS600 big buds for little bucks

I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

26/10:Im Struggling a little bit whit temps,i have to open some cms the tent,but if i do it,RH gonna decrease.im compensating by nebulizing and leaving a cup of water inside + humidifier. im preparing water whit nutrients for later. inorder to fix temp issue,before the night i changed setup whit a spudnik i hope i made the right choice. let's see what happen at 19:00! 27/10: increased ph from 5.5 to 6 and increased ppm from 500 to 600.
