Week 3 Update: Plant Growth: Progress has been slower than anticipated due to persistent cloudy and rainy weather. Despite the setbacks, I've noticed some signs of growth in the plants, albeit at a slower pace. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on a few of the stronger plants, including the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more robust growth. Weather Conditions: The weather continues to be a challenge, with only a few sunny days throughout the week. Rainfall has been frequent, making it difficult to provide the optimal growing conditions for the plants. Adaptations and Solutions: To counteract the lack of sunlight, I've constructed a mini tent equipped with LED lights to provide supplemental light and warmth to the plants. Despite the less than ideal conditions, the plants seem to be responding positively to the additional light and warmth. Nutrient Management: Feeding schedule adjusted to once every 2-3 days, alternating between water and nutrient-rich solutions. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and a basic Grow NPK Autogrow mix to provide essential nutrients to the plants. Observations: Although growth has been slower than expected, I'm encouraged by the resilience of the plants and their ability to adapt to challenging conditions. Keeping a close eye on the plants for any signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies and adjusting care accordingly. Looking Ahead: Hoping for a change in the weather in the coming weeks to provide better growing conditions for the plants. Despite the challenges, remaining optimistic and committed to nurturing the plants to their fullest potential.

the plants are not too leafy but still need a bit defoliation around week 3 and 6 of flower, depending on how u grow this ofcourse next time i would bend them more in the net. anyway the buds are rockhard even at the bottom where there was no light.

5th week and both of the Lemon Cherry Gelato's are growing firmly good 💪 i love to see these strong branches that will support the whole buds on top later which will be insane 🔥🤝 not so many pictures this week because i forgot to take some more in that week😓 but happy growing all ✌️💚😎

2024/01/20 : as it survived, shiva skunk got a decent pot (1 gallon smartpot 50% canna coco pro / 50% hydroton) and 3 others are going on LST... 3 days growth : afghani #1 - 19.0 cm (+3.0) sensi skunk - 17.5 cm (+4.5) hindu kush - 16.5 cm (+3.0) shiva skunk - 11.5 cm (+2.0) 2024/01/23 : shiva skunk looks bad, with leaves going down and yellowing... it didn't like its transplant. The others are looking OK. I may have seen first pistils... The heights are : afghani #1 - 22.0 cm (+3.0) sensi skunk - 18.5 cm (+1.0) hindu kush - 18.5 cm (+2.0) shiva skunk - 11.0 cm (-0.5) 2024/01/24 : spayed with Foliar Spray from B.A.C. last night, don't know if it was OK for shiva skunk, we'll see. 3 others are preflowering without a doubt now. afghani #1 - 24.0 cm (+2.0) sensi skunk - 20.0 cm (+1.5) hindu kush - 21.0 cm (+2.5) shiva skunk - 11.5 cm (+0.5) 2024/01/25 : shiva skunk is struggling but it's not done yet. This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. 23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Esta semana seguí con los mismos abonos subí un poco las bases hasta llegar a 1,8 de EC.al final de la semana riego solo con sensisym. Tienen buen color parece estar todo bien.

Pinched a couple of the lower suckers. Trying to bend her over and let nature take its course. Trying get some of the inner growth to catch up, Need to be patient with her. All in all, so far, so good. Watering every other day. Not watering all the way through the bag yet. Probably won’t be much longer before I do. Stretch should be coming soon.

Good week , no issues to report. The Gelato glue are almost there. Starting to see a few amber ones & 90% 9f the rest are cloudy. The 5gallon are fatter & a bit more advanced than the 7gallon one. The Gelato are bigger but are a few weeks behind. The plastic pot stayed wetter and is more leafy than the fabric one. Still to early to say which will produce more or better buds

Selbst die Black Ice hat aufgeholt und zeigt gezackte Blätter 😍 Sonst keine besonderen Schübe, keine Probleme, alles gut. Darf gern so weiter gehen. Beleuchtung erhöht (von 17 auf 20 mol/m²/d DLI bei max. 480 μmol/m2/s PPFD) Am Ende der Zeitraffer für w2.

Der Sour Jealousy von FastBuds geht es ganz gut 👍. In Hydroponic dauert es am Anfang immer ein wenig länger bis die Pflanze richtig durchstartet.. Ich denke mal in 2 Wochen fängt es dann richtig an. DLI liegt bei 16.92 ( 20 h Licht bei 235 PPFD). Heute wechsle ich das 1. Mal Wasser und gebe additiv Silicate von Terra Aquatica hinzu. Die ersten Tage hatte ich Schwankungen im PH Wert,ich denke weil der EC Wert so niedrig ist und weil die Blähton Kugeln auch erstmal den angestrebten Ph Wert annehmen müssen. Die Pflanze bekommt hier und da gelegentlich Streicheleinheiten von dem Mini Ventilator damit sie kräftiger wird

Into the 4th week of flower already. Got a bit stressed from the massive leaf stripping I did at week 3 and slow to start drinking again. Same strains drinking at 1/2 the speed of my previous grow. Lesson learned here to give the plant time to grow into the large pot before flipping to flower.
